Huawei Y560-L01 language and keyboard menu don't work - Huawei Y5 (2017) Questions & Answers

Hello, I tried unnecessary programs and accidentally deleted the applications responsible for setting the keyboard and system language after selecting this option in the settings now nothing happens or someone would be able to send me these applications so that I could reinstall them on the phone and the menu again worked

Why you just don't Flash system and you get everything what you need ? Just your data will be wiped so make sure to save your data somewhere.
Search for your region :

or update with HiSuite.

I tried but gets information that I already have the latest version of the system

Any help?

Alcatel OT-890D (DUAL SIM) root success!! no pc needed

NOTE: I will not be held responsible on anything that may happens to your phone... This proceedure is to DO IT ON YOUR OWN RISK!! and rooting the phone may void your warranty ..
These are the steps I did to successfully root my cheap Alcatel OT-890D in chronological order.
Step 1 is Optional, someone confirmed it also works without resetting the device
I reset my phone (go to Settings > Privacy > Factory Data Reset)
after restoring go to Settings > Application > check Unknown sources
then Settings > Application > Development > check USB Debugging
go to Market search and install Superuser App (its a freeware)
go to Market search and install for any file manager/explorer of your choice (freeware)
download this ( http://db.tt/kO7yvIT ) and transfer it to your sdcard
open the File Manager you installed and look for the app you transfered ("Gingerbreak-v1.20-1.apk") then tap the file to install
RUN the app (BUT MAKE SURE THAT AN SDCARD IS INSERTED AND USB DEBUGGING IS CHECKED)
inside the Gingerbreak app tap "ROOT" wait for the process to finish ( its NORMAL that along the process the sdcard sez unmount)
just wait
the phone will reboot if the rooting is successfull
it will take a while before phone reboots congratulations!! you have now successfully rooted your phone to confirm try to install a rooted app or simply install root checker fromm the Market.
CREDITS SHOULD GO TO THE DEVELOPER OF THE APP (Android Exploid Crew and CHAINFIRE) THANKS!!!! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044765 BUY HIM A BEER!!!!
HOPE ROM DEVELOPMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON!!!
NOTE: After rooting the device i installed system app remover (paid app) to remove the preinstalled apps/games/etc to free some space and everything went fine.
BEWARE: Ive tried system restore via Settings > Privacy > Factory Data Reset after root and system app remover and as expected, it did remove all the deleted system apps. Since procedures on how to flash the phone and default firmware link is still unknown, BE VERY CAREFUL on using system app remover coz you might remove apps/processes that is needed for android to boot or you'll end up BRICKED!!
oooppps!! dont know if this is the proper thread to post this.. MOD please edit. thanks!!

maybe the xrecovery that you installed is really not meant for our device. sad to hear exploring the phone further bricked your phone.
and why did you wanted to have that xrecovery? there still no custom roms for the phone and adb driver links can be found nowhere too... i still cant find any reason why would i like an xrecovery in my phone
i wanted to back up my original rom...but....i bricked the phone..
now i must wait the service to repair it
bad luck!!
Great guide, Thanks!!!
But a question.... i'm unable to ceck for firmware update... boot loadr don't start...
there is no firmware update yet...and you can not do that from bootload mode...if you want to entry in bootload mode turn of your phone, press volume up botton, and while press that, press tha power button too!
Thanks for reply!

Broke settings.

So i installed the samsung s5 lockscreen, or at least attempted to, I never realized you needed to flash in recovery. First I backed my files up. Then with the zip all I did was copy the files down to system in EZ Explorer, when I found out that my settings.apk went missing and the home button didnt work(or the lockscreen) I tried to restore my files, I restart my phone but no change still no settings and home button doesnt interact at all. (Stock S4 with Root)
(Also I cannot install apps anymore) Any help greatly appreciated!
I think you can solve this by Android development bridge (adb). In a few words, this is a way you can modify your internal memory from your ?. So, you have to push all backup.
If you don't know how to use it, in this page there are a lot of helpful post.

Sorry the app creates a backup, or do I need to have a previously installed backup?
Messed up even further!
Guys I tried to factory reset hoping to fix the problem, but as the config window opens up, I'm flooded with errors. My question is should I just install a ROM and hope that fixes it, or just go to my provider and go by the warranty?(Root I used is towelroot, so it should be gone after FR, so the warranty should still be good.)
Found a fix!
I did what it says here, works perfect except for wifi(Other then that its great)

Phone app crash after update

Hi everyone,
after updating to cm-13.0-20160430-NIGHTLY-d802 and, afterwards, facing this problem:
https://forum.cyanogenmod.org/topic/124602-phones-screen-seems-to-go-dark-after-going-into-standby-since-nightly-install/"]https://forum.cyanogenmod.org/topic/124602-phones-screen-seems-to-go-dark-after-going-into-standby-since-nightly-install/
I tried the following:
1) Wipe System + Data
2) flashed cm-13.0-20160501-NIGHTLY-d802
3) restore app+appdata+system data with Titanium Backup
Now everything but phone app, works.
It crashes every time i launch it/answer call. I tried to clean data and cache of phone app but it didn't work.
I discovered that after disabling/freezing "contact storage" phone app works perfectly, but i don't have contacts this way.
Any help is much appreciated.
Regards.

9. My device reboots when I receive or make a phone call. Why?
If your device has Google Dialer installed, it requires to be set as the default Phone application. If not set, it will reboot your device. Go to 'Settings -> Apps -> "Gear Icon" upper right -> Default Apps -> Phone App' to set Google Dialer as your default.

Windows 10 Creators Uninstall Program Automatically and blocks Reinstallation

Hi guys.
I have just upgraded windows 10 to the creators edition.
During the upgrade, windows automatically and without my consent uninstalled an old version of Firebird that I use.
I tried to reinstall the program, but I get the message that I cannot install it anymore in this version of the windows.
I have checked my settings in: settings -> Applications -> Allow apps from everywhere to be installed.
Even with the option to allow apps from anywhere selected, I am still being blocked.
Please, how can I bypass this block and reinstall the program that I need?
Thank you.

The problem with crash on start with some applications

Hi
I have Axon 7, A2017 (Chinese) with Android 8.0.0 software (ZTE_A2017V3.0.0B11). On the previous version 7.1.1 the problem also occurred. On the Marshmallow version (the first software from the news) everything was fine.
The problem is that some applications such as Google Chrome, Google Maps, Google Dev, Google Canary, Maps Go (uses Google maps) and a few others; SOMETIMES they hang on startup (usually the splashscreen). In the case of Google Maps sometimes hangs immediately after the start (when showing the map). After a temporary suspension, I receive a dialog that the application is not responding - I can close it, wait or send feedback to Google.
This problem does not occur every time. I do not know what it depends on, but sometimes these applications start and work normally. Unfortunately, most often they do not work when I need them most ...
I would like to add that if any of these applications has such a problem, each of the others listed will behave the same - no response. However, if this problem does not occur (the application worked), the others will also start correctly and I will be able to use them until Android does not kill their process.
Does any of you have a similar problem?
------------------------------------------------
To get rid of this bothersome problem, I tried to restore the phone to the factory settings and after the reset do not change anything in the phone / application settings. Did not help.
Next, I tried to downgrade to the previous version of the system (7.1.1) using the official EDL packages provided by ZTE., from: zte.com.cn/china/sitecore/content/device/home/support/detail?id=B4C0ACE418834F588FED0C72D6046C78, package ZTE_A2017V1.0.0B15. On this version (7.1.1) there is the same problem, with the difference that the applications are jamming at startup, with white background (I see splashscreen on Oreo).
Since I remembered that everything worked well on Marshllow, I decided to do a downgrade version 6.0.0 (also from official sources, package: ZTE_A2017V1.0.0B15). Unfortunately, this version of the system from the official source does not work properly for me! Firstly, the phone does not search SIM cards at all. Secondly, WiFi can not be activated on the phone. Third - i can not enable USB debugging! (ie, debugging itself can be enabled, whereas after connecting the phone to a PC, there is no dialog window on the phone with the option of accepting a PC fingerprint). I had to use an SD card to update the system.
Does anyone of you also had a problem with this compile version after roolback?

Xerphis

I only experienced that with the chinese oreo betas. Every google app wouldn't start, only a white screen.
Does not happen for me on stock 7.1.1, AOSP or with GSIs.
Unfortunately, until then I could not find a solution to this problem.
Therefore, I am asking you to make an EDL backup (without user data of course). Can any of you make such a copy of your software for A2017?

I also have an Axon 7 chinese (A2017) whit Nougat 7.1.1. (A2017V2.0.0B13)
I have the same problem as Xherpis, exactly the same.
I did the same as Xerphis, I restored the phone to the factory settings, but I still have the same problem.
Could you send me the B15 EDL Backup ?.
If it did not work, I would have to change my phone, because there are many applications that do not work.
Regards.
There is a fix posted on the Edl Oreo page
This link explains how to fix this issue.

Initially, uploading backup did not help me. At the beginning, the applications behaved the same.
It helped to install the Google Services Framework version 8.0.0.-4147944.
I will add that the installation of this framework on the previous system image did not help - but you can try this first..

For me, installing every google apk fixed the issue. I was using B15, though.
You could try the yalp app?
The yalp app was good on a custom ROM I was testing.
This is an alternative to the google play store, however its usually the google play services that cause the crashes, etc
I'm running the B15 Oreo update, the apps are no problem on this, the earlier version before B13 was bad for apps force closing, crashing etc.
Had the same issue, found it to be the google play services, somthing on the last update really f%^&ed things up,
1. force stop
2. clear cache
3. clear all data
4. press 3 dots > uninstall updates
5. let it run... it will start acting strange for 1-2 min that will update the google services again and your good to go.
After installing the backup from @bornlivedie and installing Google Framework Services v8.0.0.-4147944, everything worked well.
Unfortunately, there is a network problem. Namely, I spend a lot of time in the place where the 4G network is starting (the network switches between 3G and 4G continuously), so it increased the battery usage. So in the settings I've always turned on by default 2G / 3G for both cards. Currently, changing these settings - even forcing the 2G network will not change the network mode, and all the time in the top bar I see 3G and 4G.
So I thought that I would return to the stock ROM to see if the problem would disappear. Unfortunately, even after returning to the stock ROM, the problem still exists. Anybody knows what's going on?
@kaplaey2 WOW it's work! It actually helped me. At least for now - I hope it is not a coincidence. I would like to add that the manual installation of the latest version of "Google services" did not help. It really helped uninstalling the update from the application settings. After this, we will receive push notifications to install updates from the play store.
My app was not working
