I have a ZTE Grand X Pro and everytime I try to download an app bigger than 50MB from google playstore, it crashes and I have to delete data from play store for it to work again.Pls help me,it's really irritating. Tnx.

I recently bought a Redmi Note 2 from China, I live in Romania.
I have 3 problems with it that I find very annoying:
1) Cannot open microphone in apps like google now, facebook messenger, Cortana.
This one is the most annoying.
I tried to:
-give permissions to record audio
-disabled permision manager
-wipe cache from recovery
Need desperate help with it. Please.
2) Cannot be reached at phone.
Friends told me that sometimes my phone looks like it's off when they call me.
Sometimes a rounded R appear on status bar. I belive it's related to it. How can I solve this?
3) Cannot use Google Play Store as my default app store.
I cannot use reset default at App Store (Xiaomi) because it's innactive.

I just got a Z17 Mini S with GApps installed and after some days using it, i'm having some problems:
- Battery drain really fast
- Google Play worked during some days (not very good but it worked) but now it doesn't install apps anymore. They are always "pending installation".
- Some apps also depending on Google Services (Google Keep, My Maps) do not work well. Basically they don't synchronize my existing data.
I would like to ask here if anyone has been able to solve these problems and how. There are some comments in Z17 Mini threads but I don't know if they apply also to the Mini S.
About the ROMs, I would like to know if those for Mini run also in Mini S model, since I've seen some internacional ones (likes the European ones in the Germany website) released by Nubia but they are always for model NX569J which is standard Z17 Mini model, not the Z17 Mini S model which is NX589J.

I have similar problems with mine (also purchased with GApps installed). For battery life, I massively extended it by switching off WiFi (but I have good coverage and lots of data on my plan, so might not be as good for you).
I also noticed that when I check the permissions for the play services app, it shows none.
I think the root cause is definitely gapps and the modifications made to get gapps installed as I can't even remove the google account to reset play services cache.
Very annoying as its otherwise a great phone... I can't find a great deal of info about rooting it and there aren't any stable ROMs that I can find for it. Though remember it was only released in Sept/Nov last year.
The z17 mini ones (nx569j) definitely won't work (properly) as the devices have different hardware.
Worth adding your voice to the mokee ROM device requests (they've got a lot of the other nubia phones supported so chances are good for this). If I could work out how I'd build a device tree for this, but my skills are not strong enough (happy for someone to explain to me though!!)

I've just bought Z17 mini S too.
- My battery is quite well, it ok for normal use.
- About download on Google play, Sometimes I meet this & I solve it by restart my phone, turn on airplalne mode, clear google play app, cancel pending installation. After that, I try to download again & it works. You can try this.
I found 1 rom cook for nx589j in chinese web & post it. However, i'm being on business, so i cant try this soon
I see there is no resolution for this yet. I have Nubia Z17 Lite, which is very similar to Z17 Mini and problems with Gapps stuck on downloading get solved when I uninstall SwiftKey app - for some reason it is blocking Gapps. With SwiftKey, Play Store gets stuck on preparing to download files, account data are not synchronized etc. I had similar problem also with Google Contacts app. So uninstall those if you have them. Use Gboard instead of SwiftKey.

Hi. My gf bought the P Smart 2021 and we had issues trying the available tips too. Plus most of the "helpful articles" are from before the model was even released, and they weren't tested with it at all, apparently.
One attempt installed Play Store that never worked, and the thing also caused other apps to crash.
In other news, Waze doesn't render maps. Is this related?
Maybe need to downgrade the firmware?

Basically at present, it depends upon your device and firmware release date. TechMagnet refers to a flow chart on huwaweiblog.de that helps you to work out whether you can currently install Google services. You'll find the flow chart on this page:

Agreed, but it does at least seem to indicate that there ISN'T a method for the P-Smart 2021 yet. There's a new video just out by the same guy, unfortunately once again with a misleading title. As with the earlier video it indicates that none of the known methods are going to work for a P Smart 2021 . . . yet :-(

I've tried every available methods and nothing yet. The only one I haven't tried yet (because it is a lot of work and I already know it won't work) is to downgrade and try all methods again. I really need this guys as in less than 2 weeks I'll be walking all around Europe and I need to have a proper GPS tracking app.

It works, on my wife mobile, it works like gspace was a virtual machine and the apps stay all there

Yes it works. But this is not a real solution because it's virtual box, other apps outside doesn't see you have play services, and this probably hogs cpu and ram..
Maybe changing buildprop lines or something could work? MicroG at least. But you have to be rooted..
For now i use Apkpure instead of Play Store, it have all apps. YoutubeVanced replaces official Youtube. Viber works well but you can't do backups, whatsapp works, navigation, maps, location, mail and snapchat works. I don't use Google Drive..

Doesn't Maps works well? Im living in europe and i don't have any problem with navigation.
