Flash it with Gapps and SU(Optional)
Flash miui firmware
2.No it doesn't delete TWRP

Hi guys
I am making this post to help those of you who doesn't know how to push a file to system partition to fix camera crashing issue and flash sync bug in Nougat ROMs on redmi note 3.
I have made a video for better understanding .

But yeah , all you have to do is flash the file after flashing ROM on dirty flash the file on top of current ROM ( must be 7.1.1) and then reboot.
This is will fix camera .
I made the flashable zip.
But full credits goes to sir billchen1977 for making and sharing the basic fix.

Some had issues with permissions. Fortunately, theres a patch that skips setting new permission.
Take that xiaomi, we made a fully working nougat rom before you would've even started to work on it

Info from trusted sources ( please don't ask where) is saying that we will be getting first versions of miui based in nougat for redmi note 3 on end of this month .
By just using X-plore file manager in moving the file, all of the permissions are automatically set. All you have to do after moving the file is to reboot the phone.

Yup it's for mido. And it's been out there for quite a while now. You have to flash it over a clean install of los13. And then you can flash gapps after the first boot.

Some Chinese forums. I've tried the ROM, its bloated but then after debloating it works pretty decently. Although, skinned ui is not my cup of tea so I was back to stock android in a few hours.

Yes, it has english languaje. You need to do wape for flash that rom because (very) probably your ROM is not official dev.

When only wipe cache/dalvik was done after flashing was complete - all was good and phone boots OS, when I tried to follow steps which were mentioned on zukfans (https://zukfans.eu/community/threads/zui-3-1-050-dev.6940/) I've entered a bootloop with "ZUK" logo.
I made clean install of 2.5.412 via QFIL, unlocked bootloader, TWRP, dirty flash DEV zip, no problems.
Please can someone install camera2probe app on this New Rom and confirm the status of Hal3 (Level_3 Should be green). If so this might be a great update.

I don't know why Zuk/Lenovo is so reluctant about our device. Even Redmi Note 3 supports Level_3 Camera2api. This is bad. The 2015 Moto X has it enabled. Why not ours?!

The Baseband you have is from 2016. Can be a little buggy with gps. Flash the one I said, highly stable and no bugs. Proof is that RR dev MR.HACKER5476 made it the common baseband for his roms.

I didn't do it on all ROMs that I've tested. I haven't problems with GPS. I'm managing threads about custom and stock firmware and see that it isn't a final solution if you face with problems related to network. On any ROM with any baseband you may face with problems.
I haven't problems, so I don't need to do redundant actions.
Who have synced Contacts from Google account? Did you get photos synced too?
For me only Contacts was synced, without photos. Sync is on.
So, it seems that LineageOS 15 is now working on the Redmi Note 4..

You wont find them here because the developer who baked the rom didn't want to create a thread
this was mentioned in the Oreo discussion thread itself, the rom which only boots with most of the features not working
and this thread looks like promotion to the youtube channel even though it wasn't intended to be one

The only truth is, i think there should be a proper thread for LineageOS testers. Even though, the developer doesn't want anyone to test his build, but it's out anyway.... So why not create a thread for it so that every one can test it and share their opinions.
We all know that in the end a user will install miui or other nougat custom rom.. but most of them wanna test oreo, so let them!

I flashed as multi-room secondary flashing is same as previous flashing
Flash ROM, gapps 8.0 find in android file host ( installation of gapps complete but twrp stuck at that point , switch of the phone , boot to recovery by pressing vol+ +power) then flash factory reboot fix zip , and reboot. If something not working, some reboots can fix that.

I live in China, I find this ROM really nice, a lot of features are here to make stuff quick, like the long fingerbitton press to go straight into wechat paying (or alipay, it's up to you) the automatic spam folder for sms, and other small stuff that makes me happy ^^

yes mate its nice and quick and a bit different than OOS but all in all good experience, hope you enjoying it, cheers.
Not that good as OOS. Some chinese bloatware, no Google Play Store installed and battery life isn't great. There is some chinese words in apps (Phone dialer app - call log) here and there...
I'd like to use a ported version of the launcher from Hydrogen OS! Maybe somebody will take care of it.

Yeah seems that they released the stable version, I'm still on the beta 3 though, will I lose my data after the update ? and I guess that I have to root again and everything , right ?
