Fully Root for Oppo A83??? Need HELP!!! - Oppo A83 Questions & Answers

I have two major problems:
Does anybody knows how to get root access on oppo A83?
Is there any possibility to get that fixed?
Down below i've posted some links with technical specifications about the device.
Another problem is that I bought the phone in Thailand and only Asian languages ​​are installed! But I need the European language pack! I have already searched the whole web but unfortunately found nothing. :crying:

same here, having oppo f5 with same chipset but theirs no way to get fastboot,until we get something official patched update.zip to bring back the fastboot crap..

I have the same phone and i'm starting to regret buying it. Tho here are a couple of things im going to try out. You guys might as well also try it. Tho im not sure if it will work and i'm not responsible for anything that happens if you do follow these.
I'm trying to make magisk work on the phone by patching the boot image but since we can't really access the fastboot, we can't unlock the bootloader and flash the modified boot image. Although what i wanna try out is using the MTK download tool to flash the modified boot image to the phone. I still don't know if it will work or not since i haven't tried it and i don't think i will later on since information about this phone is still very scarce and breaking this to the point of no return is the last thing i want to do.

can somebody help root oppo a83 please :crying::crying:

hp iPAQ 910c/912c/914c Radio ROM Modification

The physical hardware between these three models of phones are the same, yet they have slightly different radio ROM configurations set through firmware. My issue is that the 910c I am using has UMTS 850/1900/2100 MHz capabilities and I would like to use it on T-Mobile's 3G network which uses the UMTS 2100/1700 MHz. Has anyone tried to modify the frequency multiplier to substitute either the 850 or 1900 MHz for the 1700 MHz for use with T-Mobile?

Don't expect such a solution - I've never heard of a successful radio ROM mod; all radio ROMs are issued by the OEM / manufacturer.
Have a look at the Qualcomm MSM6280 chipset datasheet - it seems the frequencies are probably hardcoded.

Purpose
This thread lists the actual modem hardware used in our beloved and hackable
phones, as reference to users, developers, tech-journalists and bloggers. Why?
Because it is well known that the modem-hardware manufacturers are trying
their best to keep the lid on the contents, functionality and documentation of
their latest radio marvels, thinking it is a competitive advantage. However,
they could not be more wrong, as I have already explained here. The
development of new radio hardware is at least 5-10 years behind that of other
hardware sectors. I could give many examples, but I will not, since ranting is
just as counter productive. We are thus left on our own, to find out what is
actually going on inside the radio part of our phone.
The first step in this process, is to find out exactly what baseband processor
your phone is using, there are many ways to do this, but none of these ways are
readily available for the average/regular phone user. Often one have to access
hidden menus and other functionality to find this information, and when you do
find it, it is rarely obvious without some experience.
So I am starting to collect a list of phones and what radio hardware they use,
preferably with links to specification sheets, pictures and other references.
The most interesting information can be summarized in a table with

Important Note
The modem-platform consists of a baseband processor and a radio/transceiver
processor (DSP), but these may be separate physical pieces of hardware and
made by different manufacturers, or they may be integrated into one piece of
SoC or PoP. Here we are most concerned with the BP running a RTOS kernel and
not with the PHY-level, and thus we ignore/omit the DSP manufacturer in the
table.
If you have access to any of this information, and it is not yet available
here, please post as much detail as possible, and I will eventually include
it on this list. Please, make it easy for me by pre-formatting your data
according to the above table.
For finding new modem information, please see "Guessing the Baseband.." in
the third post below.
Although there are many other devices that may also be of modem interest,
I focus primarily on Phones/Tablets/Pads until further notice. Eventually,
when I have more time I will make a BP cross reference table, listing more
BP details.
Things We Need
Modem baseband manufacturers are very reluctant with sharing information
regarding their products. That means that reference manuals, datasheets and
application notes, are all very hard to find and come by. If you have any of
these, please post a link where they can be found. Do not post any stolen
and illegally obtained information, or we risk getting into trouble for
knowing too much.​

Guessing the Baseband Processor
In the darkness of cellular/baseband processor manufacturers lack of
information on their products, the rest of the world have to resort to various
methods, usually only reserved to avid hackers, just to get minimal
information on what is acting behind the dark curtains of your phones radio
processor.
These methods involve everything from common Google-Fu, FCC image inspection,
deep hardware tear-apart guides to firmware investigation.
Therefore in order to make this more simple for common users, I have designed
the following baseband processor (BP) table, listing some detailed features of
the more common and modern smartphone BP's. Thus when you are reading the
awesome specs about a particular phone, you should be able to use that info to
guess what BP is used within that device.

Google - Search for terms like "baseband, cellular, processor, radio, modem"
FCC ID - Search for manufacturer specific device id's, then go to "details"
and look carefully on the internal photos.
The Inside Picture
While some companies are making large money on tearing apart and analyzing new
electronic devices and components, to the sub-microscopic level, there are
several less costly alternatives you can use to find out "what's inside".
These are often referred to as "tear-apart", "teardown" guides, or "may just
be a simple picture gallery of the internal parts.
The places to help you out, is as always Google Image Search, but it can a
slow process. Better are to search common websites already known for their
free quality teardowns and high-resolution images, that you will surely need.

Ripping it Apart
If you can't find any "tear-apart" guides or useful photos anywhere, you may
consider opening up your device and find out by your self. If you do so, keep
in mind that you will surely void any warranty while risking to brick your
device by breaking something microscopic inside. Don't forget to take many
Hi-Res photos of your operation so that you can share it with the rest of us!
When doing this it is also of essence to have the right tools. A good tool-box
reference is to use similar tools as those used by the iFixit tear-down
engineers. Here are a few good toolkits, for reference.
Trolling the FCC
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website is a great place to start
finding some juicy information. All phones that will enter the European or
United States markets, are required to have an FCC license/approval. Thus all
radio devices available there should also be available at FCC. Therefore phone
manufacturers wait until the very last moments, before release, to apply for
these licenses. Although all mobile manufacturers apply for FCC non-disclosure
agreements, there are usually juicy internal pictures, radio specifications,
measurements and component labeling placement data. The trick is to find the
FCC ID of the device you are interested in. This is not always very easy for
new unknown devices, but you may guess by knowing your the manufacturers
"Grantee Code". But there are many other search possibilities as well.
The FCC ID Search Form requires:

It is almost surprising how many hardware secrets can be revealed during the
many IP and Patent litigation's, during which a lot of material must be
presented in open court documents. Not to mention all the new devices they
try to patent by huge broad spectrum "patent-jacking" efforts. (Apple, Samsung
and Broadcom are always fun!)

Which Samsung Note 3 model will operate correctly in LTA/4G under Vodafone Italy and Softbank Japan?
These 2 carriers deploy the following basebands for their networks: 20, 8, 11, 3 and 1.
All in FDD mode.
I'm concerned that I will buy a phone with the wrong radio/modem.

Is there any (android) software to show the frequency capability of a mobile?
Ideally the software shows all frequency bands that the device can do
(e.g. GSM: band 5/8, UMTS: band 2/8, TD-SCDMA: band 39, LTE-TDD: band 40/41, LTE-FDD: band 7/28, Wi-Fi: 2.45GHz, Blutooth: band 2.0, etc).
Or is there any other method to find the frequencies a device can do (except measuring from the outside)?

Yes! If you can access your NV.. and have a qualcomm device
