Mine charges as fast as my s5

Charging speed slower than s7

Goooooooood
:good::cyclops:

I've noticed that my s9 charges slower than my previous s6 edge for some reason...not by much but it's noticable.

In the beginning, it charged quickly with the stock charger and USB cable. However, after some time, the USB cable seemed to deteriorate and no longer supported fast charging. I was able to fast charge by using a new third-party USB cable.

after having this phone for a month and letting it update, get settled in and even allow myself to stop playing with it excessively because i suffer from what i call "new toy-itus", it charges slower than the A8 i just came from and maybe just about the same speed as mt old old S5. Stock wall plug, stock cable, aftermarket cable with known effective adaptive charging block... no matter what its relatively slow and i have a myriad of cables ranging from pretty expensive to very cheap. The very cheap ones, of course, suck... but the spendy ones with 4.5 star ratings on amazon from over 4000 reviews in total also suck.

A6+ charging speed quite fast..eventho this phone have no fast charging capability. Seriously..really fast to fill up 3500mAh :good:
With a good power supply (5.2V, 2A) and cable it charges ~2 hours from 0 to 100%, drawing up to 1.5A.
Charging your phone 100% with the fast way its like charging 50% the slow way.because it lasts the half time comparing to slow charge. So you dont win anything. You even may damage the batery because because it raises the temperature. Slow charge is always the best especially when the phone is turned off
it charges pretty fast, would be even faster if it had a fast charger packed with it

Firstly, this is a back to basics smartphone that excels in core competencies and lacks everything else. So, no Qi/quick charging (or rooting for that matter, as we are in XDA). That said, it charges relatively fast with 5V-2A charger and gets ~10% to ~80% in about an hour.

Very poor in charging it takes 2 hours and 70 minutes for fully charged. Must be add little bit fast charging kernal in the next update
I bought this year ago but I didn't use this device much.
Now I am using this device as primary for a while now.
I tried OEM Real me charger which is very slow in charging.
After that I start using fast charger adapter and it's works like rocket.
30% to 40% percent charging faster than normal charger.

Full change in about hour. According to System2 app battery charges at 5.5 amps.
I don't always want the quickest charge (probably better for the battery not to). I've tried various of my old chargers and one said it was going to take 4 hrs to charge! Then I changed the cable with the same brigh and it took like 40 minutes. Can the phone tell the rating of the cable or something and limit the speed?

Does speed charge affects battery in time?

That was my experience with S7 and S9 hence I've turned off fast charging on S10 Lite.

Superb Charging Speed, Heat Built up
I've been using this phone for a few days, and I've used the charger the phone came with and also a generic charger 5V/2A. I'll be comparing with my Pocophone F1 which was my daily driver.
The charger that it came with charges super fast. 30W exceeding my charging speed expectations. However, with the high amount of watts, comes high heat as well. I've kept my casing on like all my phones, and the heat felt like I'm using the phone with max brightness, under the hot sun, while using navigation for a few hours drive. I would recommend taking the casing out and charge it.
The generic charger of 5V/2A is pretty respectable. I was expecting the charging speed to be super slow due to the huge battery of 5100mah. But honestly, the speed is what you would expect from a 5V/2A charger. There's almost no heat built up (from what I've read is better for the lifespan of the battery)
10/10 for me.
- PS I've never experienced a 50w or so, this is my first phone with such a high wattage charging.
