FINOW Q1 Pro Smartwatch [Andorid 6.0] [MTK6737] [1GB+8GB] 4G IP67 720MAh - Other SmartWatches

Well I found this watch, its specs are great. I don't know why they gave the same name as Q1 but they added pro. But I couldn't find any review, forum etc. about this one. Can you please check?
FINOW Q1 Pro Android 6.0 4G 1G RAM 8G ROM GPS WIFI IP67
Does it worth? Can I find stock firmwares, ROMS etc. for this one in the near future?

Finow Q1 Pro, it's a square watch available from Finow's store on Aliexpress at the moment, same spec by the looks of it as the Microwear H5, tempted to get one as I really liked the original Finow Q1

Q1 PRO seems better at the battery is bigger 720 mah vs 600 mah H5
H5 is better in camera, it has 5mp vs 2mp Q1 PRO
Q1 PRO is smaller then H5

"H5 is better in camera, it has 5mp"
Actualy it is 2mp, softvare enhanced to 5mp:
Camera: 2.0MP (SW 5.0MP)

Absolutely if you like a front facing camera (Q1 Pro) instead of a camera that points to the sky (H5). Yes it actually points to the sky not forward or front.

Just ordered the Black/Red Q1 Pro!

Does anyone have one of these yet? Any reviews/opinions?

Yup, got mine the other day, so far so good.
The UI is really good, it even has a full 'stock' settings menu like a regular phone.
My only criticism so far would be that with stock launcher you cannot add Clock skins, however if it is a 'must' for some users then Eric's clock skin launcher on Play store works fine with it.
Only had it a couple of days so not had much of a chance to test it out much, but it seems the battery is holding up good so far.
All in all I would consider it a great purchase! :good:

Good to hear it's going well. Considering buying one for my son. He's 11 and needs a way to stay in touch with me. Don't really want him to have to carry a full sized phone around.
How's the build quality?
How small does the band go?
I've been reading about people having trouble with the magnetic charging system not working on various phones because of problems with sweat/oil getting on the contacts. Hopefully you don't run into that issue!
I can't find any reviews of the watch on YouTube. If you're quick you could be the first

Hi, the Finow pictures only shown "Frequency Band" WCDMA: B1(2100mhz)/B2(1900mhz)/B8(900mhz). Does this watch support B5(850mhz) and can we set the screen resolution size to 320 for this watch?

No idea on the band frequency to be honest, and screen resolution 320?
Edit: using MTK Engineer App displays:
GSM Mode:
EGSM900
DCS1800
PCS1900
UMTS Mode
WCDMA-IMT-2000
WCDMA-PCS-1900
WCDMA-GSM-900
LTE Mode
Band 3
Band 7
Band 20
Band 39
Band 40
Band 41
Don't know if this helps or not?
screen resolution can be set on build. prop - it is currently set at 120

Thanks for your information, I have confirmed with Finow that this watch does not support B:850mhz.

hard to answer as people use their devices differently.
But I get 2 days on a full charge with light/normal use, however I work from home, so only have WiFi on airplane mode on as I don't need calls at home, general use is checking messages, social media, a few video's etc

Hi, I just received mine and am in mixed mood state.
The watch has improved compare to the original model except the screen (240x240) and thickness but the software seems unfinished.
Some bugs are really embarrassing and I hope we will get some updates :
- Sometimes Wifi disconnect and I must reboot my net box to get it work again ! It could be related to the "NVRAM WARNING" problem (Wifi connections list)
- Phone is working but I am unable to connect in 4G/3G (France) and to set any network parameters.
- Push notifications dont come to the watch.
Did someone get rooting this device ?
Sry for my English !

Problemm !
Hi , is there any app for running that measured heart rate and distance with good visuall on the screen ?
Google fit allways crashes , and i didn't find any good app with good visual ?

why would any x1 owner want to replace it with this? it has the exact spec
and its uglier!!
not to mention that x2 probably wont have xda support

I agree. The case will probably crack .
iPhone 3gs or samsung omnia pro it is then...
they better not ask 750 bucks for it out the door.. not with the same outdated procesor... ****in milkin it for all she's worth.... i smell a boycott... <disgrunted se customer
omg... i don't want it... the screen 3.2" is still too small (for me)... and why don't i buy the prettier X1 but the uglier & (likely to be) more expensive X2 ???
i thought it looked quite nice.lol. can never tell from just pictures anyway. ill reserve judgement for when i see one in the flesh. id imagine its like when they went from the p900 to p910. where they didnt really change the specs much but improved on a lot of the bugs and usuability. im hoping they sorted the keyboard issue and the terrible reception...
I thought it looked nice. The camera is better, and what does it for me is the fact that it gains tv-out.
Where does it say it is using the same processor?

looks like much more solid than the x1, also its got a flush screen and the led has moved to the top rather than 2 on each side which is dissapointing. was hoping they had kept the illuminations and mayb added a user editor this time around.
very nice user interface but i wouldnt be surprised if someone manages to figure out a way to flash it to the X1
dont like the sound of this though..
"It comes with a 4GB microSD card (Sony Ericsson has clearly given up on M2) and will ship in October, likely when the first Windows Mobile 6.5 devices appear, exclusively with Vodafone in the UK. "

I wish our great cookers gonna steal some stuff from x2 like PanelManager and some new panels. On second video we can see that performance is quite bad, normal honeycomb menu is very choppy. I think it's waste of money when the same stuff we can have on our x1

im not gona hold my breath for an october release but i hope its out before christmas. one advantage to it using quite a bit of the same tech as the X1 is that sony should be able to release it much quicker than the X1.

well they can go to hell if it's the same CPU, f*ck them.
how Gille1, very interesting comment ...
hope it got an better cpu. heared it got 512 mb ram?
but it has a lot of advantages: 8.1mp camera, motion sensor, tv-out, bigger screen, stereo-speakers. not exactly the x1, right?

Talk band makes even more sense now, in light of the x2.
Nice one,
I have preordered mediapad x2 and talkband b2 for the following reasons:
1. I need dual-SIM since I travel abroad very often.
2. I would like to read PDFs and watch movies when I'm in a train and 7" fits the requirement very well.
3. Keep minimum devices on the way.
4. Don't want to keep a phone in hands when talking.
So my mate 7 will go to my wife, though she has honor 6
And now I can put my kindle DX into my home museum

4080 mAh @ 5v (nominal) so 20400 milliwatt-hours, or 20.4 Wh

Actually I say that in the start of the Review Video. But ok, here again then, it quickcharges from 0-70% (2 1/2 hour) but the last 30% are charged pretty slow. So it ends up with about 3 hours total time.

Not really, it feels like metal/alloy, definitely not like plastic. The thickness seems to be okay. Compared with the Note 3, I don't think there is the big difference. Gaming and UI performance is IMO really good and fast on the Redmi 3, maybe even a little better than on the Note 3, but the Redmi 3 also has a smaller screen (720p) so that could be one of the reasons, why it feels snappier.

I got Redmi 3, but when i use CPUz or other diagnostic tool, it shows that my phone is using snapdragon 615 not 616, and everything else is the same spec as in gsmarena, did xiaomi release another Redmi with different processor too?

No, probably just CPU-Z that can't detect SD616 correct and then it thinks it is the 615. It is just the tools that you use that can't show the correct information, so they show false info. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes, this smartwatch looks very good. With the 16GB, you must have to use at least 12, so you can easily download and install whatever you need from Google Playstore
Root and TWRP are the only elements that can make this watch worthwhile.
It looks powerful on paper. I look forward to it
I ordered one of these smartwatches just today.
i wonder if there is some kind of booted firmware for it

Hey guys, how is the battery life of this watch? I read that most Chinese watches like this one only last 6-8 hours in power saving mode. It has a huge battery. Huawei watch 2 has smaller battery and lasts 40 hours according to Huawei.

Hi
If you dont touch the watch it will hold the power 20 hour, but the watch was not made to run in sleep mode . If You will use it it will run not more then 6-8 hours like you wrote. I did not have the possibility to test the watch wit maps and gps , like i wrote upper the watch dont catch at this time the gps fix , and we wait for an ota update
The Air also has the WCDMA 850 & 1900 (as well as 2100) 3G bands so it should work on both AT&T & T-mobile. Most smart watches seem to only have 850/2100. 850 is AT&T in some (most?) U.S. markets, 2100 is (I think) Europen/Asian markets. So I think that could be an important factor (especially if your in a 1900Mhz only AT&T market).
It's the only 2GB ram/16GB storage whatch I'v run across with the 3G 1900Mhz. I4 AIR and the LEMFO LEM5 are 850/2100 only

Little feedback

Hi,
I have the chance to have one Realme X2 Pro in my hands. So here is a little feedback
About performance : the fluidity is pretty insane. Thanks to the 12Gb RAM I didn't notice any lag during use. The Antutu Benchmark score is also insane and one of the best.
Color OS is pretty cool, not as good as Android stock but the traductions (in french) are good. The battery allow me to last 2 days with a intensive usage (Snapchat, gaming, sms, spotify etc..)
If you have any questions, do not hesitate I'll try to answer them

@nathan30
Great!
If you have USB-C to HDMI/DP cable, please test if X2 Pro can output video via the cable

Hi,
Unfortunatly, I didn't have.. But I've seen in the settings a DLNA and a Screencast options, so maybe it's possible to stream via those options
Where did you buy it from?
@nathan30 Is there a screen recorder with audio recording in ColorOS like in Oneplus phones?

From an adb shell, type:
getprop ro.build.ab_update
Or install an app called Treble check and it will tell you.

So project treble is available but the partition layout is only A and not A/B
Hello Nathan, i'm a eventually futur french user, and thank you for your feedback and my question is : the USB C is otg?
Cool tu travailles pour quel site ? Anyway back to English, were you able to get some information and android 10 availability, security updates schedule (can we expect a monthly update?), for how long we will get update /upgrade (the usual 3 to 4 years?)...
Hardware wise it seems cool, on the software side it seems to be another story... And launching an android 9 phone in 2019 October /November seems weird and a bit outdated...
Merci

Le café du geek
For all of you questions, unfortunately I don't have the answers :/
Hardware is very cool and software also nice. Launching Android 9 seems normal for me as Google and oneplus are the only brand to deploy Android 10

Thanks for your answers , I guess you will have to ask them as software is the major concern for people thinking about making the move to this relatively unknown brand (yeah I know that oneplus is family) .
Few other questions, India press (where it's already available) talks about bloatware being present, what type of extra software is aboard?
Also, I read your excellent article about screen refreshing rates issues (90 to 60 back and forth) about the oneplus 7, is the realme x2 pro having the same issue?
Merci et excellent dimanche !

I found that the boss of Realme said that they work on the specific version of ColorOS7 for Realme phone. No date for the moment
This is one of the coolest thing on the Realme, I didn't notice any bloatware. Excepted the default Google app (Vidéos, Photos, Duo etc..) but I was able to delete them all, except GMAIL.
For the screen refreshing dates issues, I didn't notice any lag as the OP7 for now
How's speaker and camera quality?

Speaker is pretty loud, not a clear sound but enough for Youtube and Netflix. About the camera, in day light is pretty good, the AI recognize quickly the scene. BY night, there is a little bit of noise when you zoom on the image, but the global picture is really nice with color very close to real color
hi, how is the aptic feedback (vibration), is like 'normal' phones or does it have a feedback aptic like the op7 pro?

Hi,
I didn't have the OP7 but I have the OP5 and the haptic of Realme X2 Pro is much powerful
Is it iphone like or just regular motor drive?
*edit: it seems the og message was not quoted. I meant the vibration motor, the haptic engine.
