Till some time, a was using Galaxy Note 1 with CM10.1
I am using lock screen with PIN.
Now i have changed to Galaxy S4 and there is some weird thing that i really hate. On CM10.1 i had an option - fast unlock (unlock as the correct PIN entered, without presing OK). Is there a way to get it on Pure Stock Galaxy S4? I really dont want to install CM now.
I think it's bricked because it just shows the startup screen with rainbow colors but i've been waiting close to 15 minutes and it hasn't done anything.

So I have an Galaxy S4.
Whenever I try to turn it one a couple of things can happen\
1. It goes past the boot screen and boots successful only for the screen to instantly go black. The blue led stays on.
2. It gets stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S4 screen
3. It displays a weird pattern

Does anybody know what is happening and how to fix this?

I don't think a malfunctioning screen can prevent the phone from booting.
I assume it has something to do with your motherboard, in which case you either replace it or get a new phone.
Yep. The GPU is failing. I bet if he enters recovery mode he'll have a perfectly functioning screen. This is because recovery doesn't use the GPU.
Today i bought a samsung galaxy s7 edge (used) it was working fine when i got it but after a few hours it went black then a message saying modem crash or something along those lines i thought it just crashed so i pressed the power button and now an sbl error is on screen is there anything i can do?
