I just got a x727, and I'm on Chatr in Canada. Making and receiving calls are ok, but no mobile data. setting -> mobile network -> mobile data is on, for "Preferred network type", I tried all the options - 4G priority, 3G priority and 2G, none of them works.

You need to configure the proper APN settings for the network. click settings, mobile networks, then whatever is under "SIM card information." It should be the name of the network and phone number. Click on that. The next menu will present you with the ability to set and change APN's.

Can anyone please help me change the APN on my Sprint Tab?
I read that I need to go to Mobile Networks in settings but it is not there. The mobile network button says "set options for roaming, networks, APNs" but when I open it there is nothing relating to APN.

After some research, I still don't find any answer. So I created this topic.
I bought a new galaxy s4 I9500 with Exynos 5 CPU. I have some problems todays when I first switch on it. I can make call, or send SMS, no problem. But on the one hand, I don't get my carrier Logo, on the other hand, my 3G or Edge connexion is disabled. I don't know where can I enable them. It is weired that we always have to activate wifi for internet surfing.
I am a noob in telecommunication, I thought that I9500 (international model) should work in every country.
So if someone can explain me this, I would really appreciate. THank you in advance.
Any idea please? Thank you. I just found an option who search avaible carrier, I choose my carrier(Virgin Mobile, France). And It doesn't change anything. Still can call and sms, but no 3G or edge.

Try this to see if your data network mode is enable
-Long press the power button
-Device option menu will pop up
-Look at the data network mode column, it should be written "Data network mode activated"

Yes it is activated
You need to add APN for both internet & MMS
Search your carrier/provider for settings...
Settings >> connections >> more networks >> mobile networks >> access point names

Hi UplnTheAir, How could I add APN, I go to the access point names page, and I chose +New Apn, and now I have a lot of field to fill, I don't know at all what should I fill for this field, especially Proxy Port Username Password Server MMSC MMS Proxy

You can get those settings from your network provider's site usually. Most of the time you just need to fill in username and password.

As the title suggests, I can't connect to mobile data no matter what. I have tried DrKetan's L8 ROM as well as Kyubi ROM 3.2. It won't connect no matter what. Maybe its a modem problem? I noticed that I have a modem from Germany (Germany - DE) while I live in Greece (Greece - BY). Also I'm on COI3 bootloader. Can you guys help me? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Have you had a look under [Settings -> More networks -> Mobile networks-> APN ] and see if you're missing some settings there?

Exactly, only mobile data. SMS and calls working as expected. What should I do about APN? I never had to set that up on a ROM before.

1) Mobile data box is ticked?
2) Did you set your network mode to LTE/WCDMA/GSM(auto connect) ? and not gsm only?
3)Do you have any options under APN - your providers mobile data setting could be missing. Not a big issue you can contact your sim provider and ask them for the APN settings to get mobile data. They should be able to provide you with the settings and the correct values. Else google search apn for that provider and maybe it'll result in the values for you to add manually.
I only remember having to do it once before myself a while back, hope this helps you out mate.

Hi guys, I have a problem on my oneplus one. I Can't connect 3g or lte, and even 2g. But my phone signal is perfect, no problem for calls and messages. But, when I am trying to open cellular data, it's not working. I think you all guys know what is mean ' 'h+' ' mark, but I can't see even that mark when I am opening mobile data. I am on sultan's latest build, I tried to flash clean this rom, but problem is not solved. So I am thinking now as hell to flash a lollipop modem, but I am scaring to the brick phone. Guys, advise and ideas please! Thanks you all.

There no different Acces point name. T mobile internet and t mobile mms.

Hmm .. for me there are always three, try searching for the default settings for T mobile in google. and create a new APN with that settings and try with that.

I spoke with t mobile call center and they sent me their internet settings, it's finally working thank you anyway
