expand notifications, is it possible? - ZTE Nubia Z17 Questions & Answers

I have searched in a lot of places, when I get a message from Gmail for example in my previous phones I was able to delete right from the notification panel. I can't find anything like that in the nubia. Is that really true? If it is than it's a do stupid to have left that out. Tell me I'm wrong and that there is a way to set it.

Anyone?

Sms Security Program?

Ive been searching and couldnt really find anything..
Right now im using a kaiser and im looking for a program that will protect my Sms messages
I want it to do.
-when i get a new message, it doesnt show up on the main screen
-To access sms's you need to enter a four digit code
-after 5-10 times, it deletes all of your messages
If anyone knows anything that can do this, please let me know.
Thanks!

I have this... but
It's okay, but it's a bit clunky. I guess that's teh best way to describe it. Although I have the complete "mobile suit" that has SMS, contacts, eWallet, and file protection.
It's cool, but like I said, it's clunky... cant come up with a better term.

SMS/EMAIL unread question

I don't think I'm the only one here experiencing this, so thought I would put it out there, to see who else feels this way..
If you receive 3 sms message from a friend, while you have the sms window open, you still have to click on each individual message to mark it as read. Is there a way around this, rather than having to tap each individual message (which can get rather tedious when you have 6 or 7 messages from various recipients) you could just click on each recipient and have all the previous message from that person, be automatically marked as read?
Perhaps a hotfix type of thing..?
Yea I also get this... but can happen even if I get 1 message and I read it... still shows as its been unread... can be very annoying!
true true... I wonder if there is a fix for this?
And annoying is in threaded mode it hard to click the individual messages as read, also hard to go back and delete the half of the thread from yesterday and day before
we need more people to feel the same way, then find someone with the skills to make us happy, then we can torture them to fix it till we smile!!
old post but has there been a hotfix for this yet?
MOD EDIT
Moved to general discussion as not related to Themes, Applications and Software

Deleting Emails the same as Deleting SMS

Is there a possible regedit, which could allow us to delete emails in the preview mode (the same way we can delete, forward, or reply in the preview mode of SMS text messages)? It would be nice if we didn't have to open every single email in order to delete it. Anyone have a workaround for eliminating this extra step? Thanks if you've got one to share.
I would also like to know this. A way of marking an email as read from the preview would be helpful too.
Thirded.
This would be awesome.
Yeah! I would also like this.
Been asked before, but yes I would like this too!! Having to open an email to have it marked as read is annoying when you have quite a few that you dont actually need to read in detail there and then!!
I'm interested also
Still no clue ?
Anything on this yet ?

TmoUS HD2 Notification Screen Issues and Configuration questions

Generally, I like this screen:
pic.gsmarena.com/vv/reviewsimg/htc-hd2-review/sshots/gsmarena_067.jpg
can't post this link....
However, it seems to pop up unnecessarily, while I am trying to do something, like dial a phone #, and screws the whole thing up.
I would like to customize it so that when it pops up that it will only pop up for certain notifications (ie voicemail or SMS), but not wireless networks, new emails, etc. It can be very annoying in the middle of a task....
I have searched here, and despite some searches referring to some generic registry edits, I have not found out where exactly to edit these settings.
Does anyone have an idea? Is there a way to edit default (I assume sense UI notifications?)?
Thanks much!

WP7 Email size settings?

Sorry if this is covered somewhere - have searched and browsed to no avail so reluctantly, I'm asking!
In the settings for my email accounts on wp7 there are details for the scheduling (ie how often you receive emails to your phone) but I cannot see anything that dictates exactly what you want it to download for each email.
Eg if you have a limited data account you might not want all attachments, and restrict to email headers only or something like that. Or limit to xxKB or xMb etc.
Any idea? WinMo and Android allow this and I'm sure the settings must be on there somewhere but I think I'm being dumb as I can't see it!!
Like WP7 so far (I haven't fixed the live services yet though even though it's activated), but a few minor things I'd LOVE to see fixed if possible:
Ringtone volume - even at 1 out of 20 it's very loud. Not good control at all!
I think I saw info about registry changes to fix this but I can't until I get chevron working.
Font size in emails - it's huge! I want to be able to fit much more emails on the screen at once. I'm not blind so I don't need them THAT big.
Any suggestions (to any of these!) welcome, thanks.
And sorry again if I've missed stuff already posted. Don't want flaming really!!
I'd like to know as I have searched for the answer to this too.
