Cystom ROMS with VOLTE

Dear developers and friends,
I'm using Redmi 2 Prime 2gb 2014818 varient.
Currently I'm on official Miui 8.2.1.0. Lollipop stable version.
Now I want to upgrade to either Marshmallow or Nogut.
So dear friends, I want to know the most stable, or say it, near to stable ROM of either MM or Nogut.
I'm expecting some mandatory features in any single ROM such as:
VOLTE.
Double tap to wake.
Improved battery life.
Stable telecom network.
Less heating.
Dear friends your suggestions are highly expected.

Try Tesla ROM by Ground Zero, it is nougat 7.1.2 and has all features you need but it no longer is being maintained by @premaca , but it is the best version till now.
It could be found on Main XDA thread for Redmi 2, see the Central ROM link pinned by Mike.

No, volte video call option is not working in both CAF AOSP and Tesla.
Anyway, it's not available in any of the custom ROM out there..

It's working on mokee mm rom and it's stable too.

With root..
You can flash the zip file attached..
And install the phhhSuperSU app from play store..

How is the performance of Mokee MM ROM when it comes to battery, stability etc?

Battery backup is better than any nougat custom rom, around 5-6 hrs in normal usage, performance wise it sucks sometimes as cpu struck at 800, dont know why. has few bug also like reboot when swapping data between sim.
Overall it's quite stable for daily drive if u can bear above mentioned issue.

I have never tried 64 bit rom as my device is redmi 2(1gb), so sorry i can't suggest anything, and feel free to ask anything, this is Q&A thread afterall.

See no ROM is bugfree as of now
All are in development stages but, these are really good with minimum bugs and can be used as a daily driver if u don't mind some issues. I repeat even these are in beta stages only, not bugless.
1. Dirty Unicorn
2. Candy 8
3. Los 15
4. AOSP 8.1
5. Ground zero roms (GZOSP/Validus)
My personal love for DU n Candy8 but all are equally good.
Camera in candy 8 is good too.
Flash custom kernels for better performance and better battery
Kernels are:
1. Arenium
2. Frostbitten kernel
3. Arenium
4. Babyfish

May I knw common bugs about battery , fc , and charging. Rest I can adjust.

Bugs are device model specific
Battery and charging is fine
No significant fcs
Just take some trouble and flash candy or du after taking a nandroid backup dude

cardinal aosp can use as daily driver its mostly stable only have some minor bugs give it a try

I thought this is a forum to ask questions like this and the purpose of this forum - especially a q&a thread - is to get answers, not more browsing, because everyone is searching here first for whatever mods, roms, kernels to find the best, the working one, or any new one...? And all of this is based on people who have one minute to post a useful answer here. Maybe I think the wrong way...

I currently used Agni on Kate, this seem to have the best charging speed and the battery backup is not much worse than any stock kernel. I tried shadow, this is just not for me and the third one might be useful, I have no reference from that but worth to give it a try if others don't work for you.
I found this radon version, no idea if it is working on pie or not, didn't try yet either.

Does the same with other kernels? Did you try to calibrate your battery? Might be a battery problem anyway as the device is getting older, it is 4 years since released...

Yeah that's what I thought, I reverted back to nougat and I don't have that problem anymore. Anyway nougat gives me better battery life. I was thinking of getting the battery replaced.

I'm on AOSP Extended v4.6 Unofficial build Dec 20 2018, this is a very stable ROM. I couldn't find any bugs so far.
Previously I was using Lineage OS v14.1 with Radon kernel that was also very stable. With stock kernel I was having a battery problem.

Network drop issue after flashing custom rom

Hi guys!
I am tired of finding the solution for fixing network drop issue after flashing any custom rom on my rosy.
If there any one who know how to fix it
Pls help. I am really very thankful for that.
After flashing any custom rom
My network suddenly goes high but after frw second it drops. It happens continously.
The reason for irritation is that when i am on any call call disconnect due to poor network.

What's about in call volume adjustment. This is the major problem on every custom rom except lineage os new update.
Please let me know that two bugs fixed or not on this rom

I am on paranoid Android and I still have network drops. Any one on the paranoid Android still suffering from network drop?

It's been fixed in most of the recent builds. Try AEX if you don't need volte or recent builds of some other ROM if you need volte.

Is there a source thread?

Download 20th April update but after flashing couple of times phone vibrate and display bootloader tried several times but results are same why this happened ? I encountered same problem with Siberia 9.0 Kuntao, Havoc, and Resurrection remix i did all tricks which share by some users but same result
Any solution?
Note: this never happened earlier builds

Make sure your phone is treble enabled and are using the correct twrp.
