Help me, guys . I have a unique microphone problem. Whenever I install stock rom the mic phone works properly. But whenever the mic of my phone gets very very low when I install a custom rom. If I reverse back to stock Rom the mic works normally. So guide me to fix this Problem. When I put the headphones it works normally.

Hi,
i've got a nexus one and I installed the MoDaCo custom rom on it. Everything was fine even last evening. This morning however, my speaker didn't work anymore and also the mic isn't working. When I try to do the speech thing it shows me a mic with a red bar accross, like there is no mic connected. Could this be a problem related to the custom rom or is this just a hardware failure?
What should I do? If i ship it to HTC it'll be 3 weeks until I get it back.
nandroid back to your stock rom?
It still worked while on the MoDaCo custom rom and I did a nandroid restore which didn't help
Hi! I have a problem with my Samsung I9505. I have Omega v19 based on firmware XXUEML6 Android 4.3 and I decided to flash a stock firmware I9505XXUEMKF_I9505COAEMJ8_COA. Unfortunately I had some issues and I don't know why. Fortunately I had philz_touch_5.18.9-i9505.tar cwm and was able to flash Omega v19 back. Everything its working fine but the dial and the sound. I don't have any sound, meaning I can't hear anything, no music no ringtones, nothing. And the second problem its the dial. So in the main screen I touch the phone widget everything its working fine but when I try to call someone my screen goes all black and starts to flicker and nothing happens, only after aprox 10 SECONDS appears the dialing screen but I cant hear the other person and neither can he. I don't know if its soft bricked or bricked but please help someone. I told you besides this two problems everything works well and even cwm and download mode. PLEASE HELP!!!

Boot into download mode and Try and flash the .Tar file via odin.

think if you flash your modem via odin , it will work fine.

Fortunately I resolved my problem. It was a bootloader problem. I tried to flash the new Omega v.22 kitkat4.4.2 but had the old bootloader. After flashing the new One the problem was resolved. Thank you for your help
Hye fellas!!! After installing Jesse N7 rom, my phone's mic is not working and had to restart my device every time before making a call... Any solution??
Hi,my N910C is currently on CM13.
after i flashed a new build my microphone stopped working, i found out that the microphone volume is very low. i tried fix it with flashing back to a older build or another rom but the volume of the microphone is still broken :crying:. i cant do phone calls or anything else, i need some advice to fix that, thank you.
solved, flashed a whole line of older builds until i found one that works

I think the relevant file is /etc/mixer_paths.xml
so, i will try my luck. first thing is, i have a xt1684 retgb. atm i'm on full stock oreo firmware, a backup that i made where everything should have worked fine. after the issue appeared i restored the backup. but yea, it still persists. what a *****y phone.
now i have the problem, that in any case no voice is recognized neither via the build-in mics nor over a plugged headset.
neither a full stock flash to oreo nor to nougat changed it. everything else seems to be working as it should.
really guys, give me any hint to get rid of this. everything is welcome. :fingers-crossed: i count on you. cheers
okay got a little success in camera. in there i got my voice back after re-enabling mic permission in settings. but it doesn't help on google search e.g. .
i got my mic back working. but i still can't tell what caused it. maybe something equal to the problem that causes no touch issue. don't know. flashed a few stock and rom until it worked again. it was a work or die mission. as mentioned in the stock oreo thread it is really neccessary to let every stock flash finish with the initial setup (even if skip everything) till you are on launcher homescreen.
