Note 3 dont have update android O. Its stay always Lolipop. No Marshmallow android. Its still no updating by Samsung Development.

Probably there will be no port of Nougat or Oreo for Note 3 because of the lack of drivers for Note 3 SOC

You can't port a ROM with a different OS version, if there isn't an official Android 7.0 released to this device yet, there can't be a ported ROM. Main example is the lack of any ported 5.0 and up Android version ROM for the Galaxy S3, even though it has a huge developer base

How much approx time will it take fro developers to roll out Android 7.0 or 7.1 based custom rom for Redmi 3s prime ? almost every device got at least one android 7 based ROM
Yeah but Xiaomi wasn't fast with kernel sources so we need to wait. AFAIK at least one developer is working on Nougat based rom for 3S.

There's a team on github who are working on a nougat kernel
There isn't any of them on xda

We freshly got Marshmallow kernel source. Ask again when MIUI 9 comes out for our phone.
I heard that MIUI 8 is aveliable for our redmi 2...problem is that I think it is on android 5.1.1.
Is there official android 6.0 version?
You are thinking absolutely right, MIUI 8 is available for Redmi 2/Prime based on Android 5.1.1 and there is no official MIUI 8 on Android Marshmallow.
But you can get custom ROMs of Marshmallow & even of Nougat for Redmi 2/Prime.

Then you can return to stock, but it will be based on Android Lollipop. You can also try Resurrection Remix or Mokee Rom. However they will not give you the MIUI experience, but they will provide the best of custom ROMs.

I was wondering if the official Nougat release on n920C could be ported to N910C?
both are exynos based devices, and i believe official ROM on N920c has volte as well.
If port is possible, we can get volte in N910C as well, isn't it?

Sadly That's not gonna happen note 4 will never get touchwiz nougat roms until note 4 get official.nougat update.
N910C and N920C are completely different hardware as well.

I believe if Note 7 port to Note 4 is possible, Note 5 port should also be possible...!

exactly... so rom from snapdragon version on note 5 can not be ported to n910c, but rom from exynos version can be...

Marshmallow is possible but nougat not because kernels and drivers are not compatible with note 4.
Only aosp nougat roms can run on note 4.
