<bool name="support_force_touch">false</bool> (tested is a lot of bugs)
<bool name="support_led_color">false</bool> (I do not know if our led supports)

Hello im on Android 8 miui beta china. I tested your xml but camera have issue in capturing hdr pro and always take hdr photos and also flash on camera is always on auto mode nothing happened if you put it off. Grove mode didn't work.
I edited led to color mod but i think HW didn't support it.
Also i think you can add face unlock.

woowwww
EIS option work OK?
and work on AOSP????

after changing, dolby setting is doesn't work, and i can not find anything about hi-fi setting, Does it really work?

For information i am on Epic ROM MIUI 9 because miui 8 is outdated. @yyq97 : I did several tests by activating and deactivating the dolby parameter and by the ear we have a noticeable difference. @planetera : Aohdr is enabled by default. @mori17 : The flash is always on if you have activated chroma flash otherwise this is auto. If you activate hdr pro, the flash is disabled (normal for not saturated in brightness, explained on several acticles on the internet). If you activate chroma, use hdr live because hdr pro et chroma flash is not compatible at the same time "identical hdr pro is the default flash". I don't understand Grove mode, you speak of "camera_audio_focus" ?

Ok thanks i solve hdr pro and flash issue. Glove mode its an option added in display settings what is that? And it's didint work. Again can you add face unlock features to miui roms? And this EIS works in miui camera or others apps!?

@mori17 : Glove mode is an option when people have gloves for accented the touch, I'm looking to make it work. Face unlock is by default in miui. EIS is work in miui camera ,I always use miui camera.

[APP] Camera app

Hi there
Is there any cool app for recording video other than the default on WM 6.5.
Better would be that can use both Diamond cameras front and Back even that one at a time.
Tks in advance.
Re
didn't find anything like that still > you can get new options like Burst or Sport with the Diamond Tweak app. I found my Diamond not capable of taking 10 or more burst pics and more than 3 or 4 in Sport Mode .I think the ROM Version has smth to do with that >so you can still try it. As for the secondary camera you can choose in photo mode by tapping in settings on the icon under the size picture icon in the left .
Hope i helped.

Missing HDR video option

I just flashed cloudyG3 rom, and just realized that HDR option is not there. Help guys.[emoji16]
Try installing the XCam LG v5.0.0 mod...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548974
Version 5.0.0:
Initial release of completely new app
Random HDR FC fixed from previous GPro2 binaries
NEW Lightframe/flash mode for front camera
NEW Sports mode revamped
Set at min 1/24 shutter speed
For now, if you don't open the camera in Sports mode, you will need to toggle between IA mode and back to Sports to enable this faster shutter (you can also toggle between video and back)
LG's blue-shift/blanching in photos has been corrected
Normal mode now bypasses the automatic switch to night mode in low light (and the corresponding multi-frame smoothed/nr photo).
Improved image quality across the board
Huge update to the binaries/driver resulting in increased quality for all installed camera apps.

I meant HDR video option..
Not camera shot option.

Change Front Camera Deafult mode

You can easily set default mode of front camera to AUTO mode or any other as you wish. Just drag the mode to first position, that's it!!
Found it out today by mistake
Ty
This was implemented on the last camera app update. Check the changelog on Play Store.
Really useful, having the front camera default to beautification was ridiculous.

Working Google Camera for Snapdragon Note9 only!!

https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s9-plus/themes/gcam-port-galaxy-s9-s9-t3763849. Instead of creating a new list of information, I'll just reference the link to my gcam port for the S9+ since the Note9 plus is pretty much the exact phone with a bigger screen.
See here for proof it works: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77463019&postcount=578.
Please read OP before asking all questions. This would not be possible if it wasn't for the great Savitar(@defcomg) and Fahmi(@fahmi182).
Did you try it? It didn't work for me, just freezes.. Also, no portrait working, that's the only feature I use in GCAM.
Please we need an exynos versiyon too
Installed on my Verizon Note 9. Works.
i got download the working version for Exynos version by using S9+ gcam~it works almost fully except front facing portrait. All HDR+ is working on rear but not front. AR Stickers is working also.
Why would you use it? Is it better?
Immediately presents "camera has stopped" and force closes on my t-mobile snapdragon note 9.
Portrait mode freezes and if any options are changed "disconnected from camera" error

Interesting... why would it wrk for some and not others
Portrait mode lags big time. Frame skip 3-5 second as soon as you move a tiny bit. Everything else seems to work. Lots of noise though. Any screenshot of the working settings so we can test and see if it's a setting conflict?

What about Exynos version?

Portrait mode is broken for ALL gcam mods! Noise is really normal if in low low light.. Set auto-correct exposure to times 8 or min iso but that requires a lot patience of being still so I suggest use a tripod.
Hey all.
Downloaded this from the above mentioned link.
Was a bit wonky with some controls, but worked for the most part.
Eventually uninstalled because it's just not worth messing with yet.
Check the attached pic for gcam (bottom) and note 9 stock cam (top).
All standard auto settings, just pointed and shot.
Meh to the gcam.
I like it
Here's some more tips I found online:
BUGS:
If you use Adaptive Display screen mode, then your pictures will appear messed up in the Gcam mod's gallery. In that case view them in the stock gallery app or something like Simple Gallery.
The front portrait mode viewfinder appears to refresh at about 0.5 frames per second, but despite the visual choppiness it absolutely does produce a portrait mode result as expected.
Here are the settings I adjusted to get functioning rear and front HDR+ On (or off), HDR+ Enhanced, and face retouching, and front cam Portrait mode:
Disable camera sounds
BSG Mod > Model > Pixel II
BSG Mod > enable Pixels auto-HDR+
Settings > Advanced > enable HDR+ control
BSG Mod > Final jpg quality HDR+ set to 100%
BSG Mod > enable Portrait mode on all models
Bonus settings that I tried that don't break things:
BSG Mod > Zoom in Portrait Mode Front camera set to 1.0(without zoom)
BSG Mod > Increase the detail of the HDR+ in the front..
BSG Mod > Minimal HDR+ smoothing (causes grainy pictures in low light, haven't checked with good lighting)
Got Portrait mode to work using your settings above phillydon04, thanks. And Portrait pix are considerably better than live focus on my Note 9.
But back camera still has a major lag taking pictures (takes like 3 or 4 seconds to take a picture and have the circle indicator go all the way around. Hopefully this can be fixed in the next update
I used this on my T-MOBILE N9 and it consistently freezes on the FFC. Removed and will use the regular camera and Camera FV-5.
Now the GCam port for the N8 works flawlessly. I use it on my 8 without one problem....well, sometimes my pics are upside down, but who cares...it works!

This worked for me, it took a couple tries though. The first couple attempts to install the app produced a black screen when trying to take a picture, video worked fine however. I had to keep force closing and deleting app data until I got the camera to work. When disabling camera sounds it sometimes went back to the black screen. The BSG mods also sometimes produced the black screen. After around a dozen attempts everything works perfectly.
Great
Working great for me!

How do I disable max brightness in stock camera app?

Whenever I open the stock camera app, screen brightness is automatically set to maximum. I get that it's a feature some people like to take better photos but there should be an option to disable it. Other camera apps have this option but lack EIS or portrait mode. Would really like to use the stock app but this one issue is very annoying. Any help?
To enable EIS , click the given link

If you feel that the camera is really important then you can explore XDA for enabling google camera on phone .
The automatic is a default configuration in the phone and you cant do anything for that . Its actually useful because sometimes the display is visible during bright sunlight . Or else install the Nokia camera port on the phone. It will also give the extra PiP feature
