Is the PCB board of the x720 the same as the x727? - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

Hey All,
I took my phone to get checked out and the guy is pretty sure the PCB board is broken. Unfortunately out of warranty/in Vietnam so can't really take it to an authorized dealer and the part doesn't seem readily available. I saw a site selling them online, but for the x720 version. Was wondering if they were the same or not?

I think they are the same, it could work, can you send the link?

X2 Housing Replacement

My X2 fell from the pouch case and as i result it endured some minor scratches in its housing. Now i can't get over seeing it and wanter to replace it. I went to SE service center here in our place (Pampanga, Philippines) but they told me they weren't allowed to open such device because of their level 2 accreditation.
They gave me and address and a contact number of the center which is allowed to do so. I first contacted the service center and asked for the price if ever i will purchase new housing and casings. I saw housings in the internet being sold prior to that.
But to my surprise, according to the technical representative that responded to my text, they don't have replacement housing for this device. And told me the ones i saw in the internet are not original and is not advisable to buy it. (though the seller from that site claims that its original)
Guys, are there any original housing in your respective country? Or if u happen to know any site which is selling it.
Please don't hesitate to post it here. Thank you so much.
When you say internet, you mean off eBay? If its coming from China, guaranteed its NOT OEM (Original). I've replaced a housing on an X1, and it did not fit, the quality of the housing was POOR. I guess it can include the X2.
But if you are super desperate, you could purchasing online, just make sure you know what pieces you are getting, and making sure you actually get all of them.
Honestly, I have not seen any X2 housings yet online for sale. Good luck.
tnx dude.
Nope, it's not from ebay. i forgot the website though. I'm still trying to locate it.
I'll post it here if i got lucky.

I am curious too what kind of a challenge replacing the entire housing would be.

[Q] Replace S III motherboard from another country

Hey there!
Like many of you here, i have a S3 with a sudden death.
The thing is: i'm from Brazil and bought my phone in China, so the local authorized technical support refuses to help me, because he says it's very hard to register the IMEI number from a imported phone.
I think my only way out is to buy another motherboard and replace it myself, but again, i can't find any here in Brazil, so i'll have to buy from eBay on US and Canada or UK.
Anyone here knows to do it? I already teared my phone apart and know how to manually replace the board, but what about the IMEI number? It´s possible to do that?
There's any other problems or difficulties i might find on the way?
Thank you so much for all our help, you guys have been great here!

Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 Motherboard Replacement

Hi All,
My Samsung S4 died recently and it does not turn on anymore. I took it to a Samsung workshop and they told me the motherboard got fried and it needs to be replaced. However, they would charge me about $300 for the repair, which of course I find it to be a total robbery. I have decided to take a step forward and repair it myself, which I found to be quite easy (I have already removed the motherboard myself). I have searched for replacement motherboards on eBay and found some in China for about $50. My questions are:
1. Is the motherboard replacement a simple "plug & play" matter or does it need to be programmed?
2. Where is the most recommended place to buy a motherboard for that model?
3. Any other watchouts/recommendations you have for me before I go ahead and buy the replacement?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Yes, the motherboard is a "plug and play" replacement. The only thing you may need to do is update it to the latest ROM.
Make sure you do not get an s4 made for mainland china, verizon, AT&T, South Korea, and Sprint.

Help! I need leeco le pro 3 motherboard..

My phone was turned off while charging and it does not turn on at all. motherboard burned. Please help me if you know a place where I can find a motherboard selling board.
You probably do not need the full motherboard. are you sure that it wasn't just the usb card that was burned? Obviously get rid of the usb cable. BTW, this happened to me also.

https://www.amazon.com/JOliwow-Microphone-Charging-Connector-Replacement/dp/B0757ZB5H9
X720 Motherboard ( will work with X727)
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Mot...d0bba9a&transAbTest=ae803_2&priceBeautifyAB=0
Edit: sorry its $126 ( Ripoff!) Might as well buy another phone at that price.
Buy the way, we have 4 Leeco phones in our house
You can buy the Leeco x522 for just $107 on Amazon and it has a snapdragon 625 processor and is pretty freaking sweet for just over a hundred bucks. Maybe consider buying that instead of fixing this one.

Thanks for your help, my friend. I want to use this phone. because the phone is very nice. I'm thinking of taking AliExpress. Is there any risk that the motherboard is problematic?

Aliexpress has a money back guarantee.
I don't know the specifics. Because, I haven't ordered from them. But, I have been told that they are reputable and offer a good warranty.
Again, be sure its not the USB card.
I thought my motherboard was fried but it turned out being the USB card, which is extremely easy to fix.
Another option if you live near a large city, take it to a shop that does repairs at the component level.
There is repair through mail shops such as : Louis Grossman at https://www.rossmanngroup.com he has become well known for his YouTube channel. The guy knows his stuff, and I understand that his pricing is fair. Plus, he has several technicians employed so his repairs are fast. His speciality is Apple. But, he repairs android as well.
There are many shops like his: I.E : https://www.ittechrepair.com/ it may save you the headache and some money to use a professional shop that has the tools to do micro soldering repairs.
Good luck.
