A510F : Lost half storage capacity after Nougat Update - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Hello Mates,
After flashing the Nougat update, I am noticing that my full storage capacity is 8GB (supposed to read 16GB). Any suggestions on how to fix?

[Q] Not recognizing full 16 gb storage and camera not working after 5.01

I'm having two problems that I'm pretty sure are related to each other after upgrading to 5.01.
1.) When I enter the camera app I get the message "Insert an SD card before using the camera". I am unable to take any pictures.
2.) When I go to Settings >> Storage, I'm only seeing 5.67 GB as my total space despite having the 16 GB model
Any advice on what I can do the fix these issues? I'm not sure what further information I could provide other than that I upgraded to 5.01 from CM 10.2
I had the same issue after flashing 5.0 factory images. The only thing that worked for me was to lock my bootloader and unlock it again.
Just remember to place your backup somewhere other than your phone.
Hope that helps

De-crypting Marshmallow encrypted MicroSD

Hi,
Lately, I got a Marshmallow update for my Moto X Play to which I upgraded and as I wasn't quite aware of the Encryption Policy for the same, I tried mixing my 64 GB Samsung MicroSD with my internal storage. It worked fine until I started having problems using the new Marshmallow upgrade. I decided to downgrade, did not bothered about decrypting the card before downgrading.
As soon as I downgraded the device to Lollipop, I found that I was no longer able to use the MicroSD in the same way I used to do it earlier. It was write protected and I was not able to decrypt in any way.
Googling didn't quite helped, and it looks like very few people have had similar problem.
Anyone having same issue? And any solution to this?
I think if you reformat the card you can start using it again, but you will lose all data.

Internal and external memory cannot be mounted

Hello all.
I am using Moto G4 Plus Indian variant and manually updated to NPJ25.75-2 and everything is find expect few bugs.
Now I tried to check flashing the latest OTA NPJ25.9 3-11 (even though it will not work) I come to realize some thing unusual when I selected apply update from SD card I am getting the following message
"Internal and external memory cannot be mounted"
Is this the problem with my phone or something problem with the soak test.
Is any solution for this. Just to clarify I am on Nought Soak Test not even unlocked bootloader.
Thanks in advance
Did you search and read that thread...? On 2 or 3 page clearly mentioned new update will not get flashed over old soak version, you will have to be on MM 139-63....!!
Hi Maddy
I knew that we can't flash latest update on Nought. But my question is why I am getting the above mentioned message as soon as I selected apply update from SD card from recovery.
I read about that mounting issue somewhere else also after flashing soak, i don't remember clearly where, little search can help you, i haven't tried soak so didn't have that issue and don't know what to do...

Zenfone 3 Max - Can u help to solve this?

Hello, guys
Wanting to expand the memory capacity of my Zenfone 3 max (model zc520tl) I've downgrade this to Android 6 because in Android 6 we can use the SD Card as a internal storage and in 7 we can't.
But, when I did this a huge problem happened: The phone can't recognize my SIM Card!
I've searched a lot and in ZenTalks I've found an Asus Moderator telling that what we need to do is update de firware to the latest version (and it's make sense, cause in Android 7 the SIM was working fine.)
So, now is the big problem that I can't solve by myself: I can't update my phone and I tryed so many ways ...
Look, I had downloaded the latest version in ASUS Support site, move this zip to my internal storage, clicked in "prepare to update" and when it reboot to recovery mode, an error saying a think like "This update is for xxx and this device is with MRA58k".
I had downloaded a lot of stock roms for android 7 and it always abort the update in recovery too.
What I want is just solve my problem with SIM Card. If there is a way to solve this on Android 6, please, tell me because it's better then upgrade to android 7 and can't expand my internal storage.
But, if the way is update to android 7, please help me to do this because I can't do this.
Thank's Allot,
Best Regards
