I have a Note FE Korea of SK Telecom. Now i want to mod the phone to running dual SIM. How to do this? Please help me!
There are some videos on YouTube about how to glue SIM card on SD card...but there is here one post from some Note user that did that and he could not take out the simcard tray after that procedure. So its at your own risk...as always.

IMO the korean version is single sim only hardware. even if the hardware supports 1 sim + hybrid slot you need to root and change the simcount etc. on the EFS partition. Z3X box is capable of doing this but it is still a question if the slot is a hybrid slot and it is just disabled or it is different hw and just an sd card slot on the korean model. I would suggest to consider selling the korean model phone and getting an international N935F (DS) version which is dual sim model and have better frequencies than the s/l/k korean versions. I got the international version from ebay for about $600 , if anybody interested it is a Malaysian CSC but the phone is available in southeast asian countries (malaysia, thailand, philippines, indonesia, laos, cambodia and vietnam.)

I bought the S5 a few days ago.
The model is SM - G900L, it is with the korean carrier LGU+.
I'll be going back to Canada in 3month and was wondering if this will work with telus in an easy sim swap.
Are there going to be any problems with the LTE, LTE-A, LTE call feature etc?
I tried the telus sim here in korea and roaming seems to work but i dont know if canada uses same channels as korea.
Also, would it be ok to install (if there is such a thing) the telus carrier rom or the generic NA rom without problem?

I have bought motherboard of note 3 version 9005, 32 gb with lte function from China. But whatever I do I can't get any lte working in Israel. No matter what career. By baseband it has basebands for all careers but never get lte(4G). Even Though I updated to the latest android lollipop 5.0. Now in settings it has written lte/wcdma/gsm. but actually I can't have lte.
My motherboard region is Hong Kong (TGY), China but I am in Israel.
1. I want to have lte function.
2. Hebrew interface of the phone.

I was wondering if it is possible to install the firmware of a G900M into a G900V. As far as I understand the internals are the same. The processor is capable to receive all the bands. The firmaware is the one that opens or closes bands. I moved to another country and only a few bands work with my phone here.

so for those who got their S8 UNLOCKED from ebay\amazon..etc there is a chance that you might have got the version of the S8 of a country that doesn't support it yet, thus it will not work on your phone, for e.g. (AFG- Afghanistan, EGY- Egypt...etc).
So to solve this issue we need to flash the firmware of a country that has SAMSUNG PAY working on an EXYNOS device (G950F, G950FD).
Last year that fixed the issue for me on my S7 Edge G935F.
An example of a country firmaware that have Samsung Pay working is XSG - UAE
So if someone can provide us with the firmware files for both G950F and G950FD , that will be so much of help for many of us.
Also we need ODIN that works for the S8.

Are you sure that flashing the rom of specific country will make samsung pay work on S8 or S8 Plus
I have an Exynos S8 Plus SMG955FD which was bought in Nepal but there was no pre installed samsung pay as it has not launched its service for S-Pay in Nepal.
If i flash the indian firmware for Exyons S8 Plus on the same Nepal Device as becasue In india now it S-pay service is launched and supported.
Will this work ? 100 %
Both Indian And Nepal device are same model SM G955FD and both country support carries of both countries as well. Only the CSC code is different i.e. India - G955FXXU1AQE5 & Nepal - G955FXXU1AQDG
Since almost all the international S8/S8+s are on the multi CSC ROM, all you need to do is find a SIM from one of the SPAY supported countries (India, Singapore, UAE, UK works) and reset your phone (preferably from the recovery menu) and put in the SIM and reboot. All the regional features are activated, and you get SPAY to work even after changing your SIMs.
I am currently using the India SPAY and it works with all cards (Chase, Amex, Citi are what I have checked). Of course you won't get Samsung rewards since its a program only available in US.
tl;dr No need to flash ROMs. Only reset required.

I'll try this but will this make Samsung Pay work for only that region? I.e. if I use an Indian SIM will it activate the Indian version of Samsung Pay or can I use the US version which has rewards
I bought s8 (G950N-Exynos-singled sim) from south korea though i live in india. Here voLTE wasn't working before, then i flashed a custom rom hadesrom one ui by corsicanu. Now voLTE works almost fine.
But the network service of my device is very poor than indian s8 (i compared it with indian s8). I was wondering if i can flash the bootloader and modem of indian s8(G950FD) via odin .
But the problems are 1. my phone is singled sim, 2. there are no such indian s8 firmware of android 9 on sammobile.com.
What if i flash the bl and cp of G950F ?

voLTE is a carrier specific service. if it wasnt working on your previous ROM and is currently working on the new one, then the dev baked in the goodness of voLTE on your ROM where it was absent prior in the previous ROM.
Anyways, as far as what will happen if you flash the G950F firmware, it will boot and then the phone will think its a G950F. Thats it. Exynos processor S8's can accept the F firmware

i tried it, but it didn't flash. Can you help me how i can turn this korean model into indian model such that it has no network issue?
Except indian model is dual sim exynos and i have korean model single sim exynos.

use this version of Odin. Teh linked page described why your phone is failing the flash. Its tripping up on a 255 error
i had to use this on my A8 when flashing the UK firmware on it since it was a UAE market phone
