You should get update after few days running the rom, it will automatic install new launcher with app drawer and option for 5 by 5.

You need to use Eui launcher? No root you can install other launcher from Playstore easiest way to have app drawer, Flick launcher, Nova etc
If you want to use Eui launcher:
I think you need root and install one other launcher on the phone. I use app from Playstore "Root Uninstaller" by KunKunSoft to uninstall existing Eui launcher(Launcher3), reboot the phone. Then install new Launcher3 1.3.3.04 (apk file) from my link.
EUI launcher3: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vlT3M2-DzVUZk2eq4YBnpO1Fs-OdPHZn/view?usp=sharing

There is app call "Pixel drawer" by Sagar Vasnani if you want just app drawer, sometime I use it, just search by word "drawer" on Playstore

Thanks for the replies i really appreciate it
I want to stay completely on stock as my banking apps wont work otherwise, even with magisk and safetynet pass. I dont want other launhcer either
I just want the LeEco launcher to be updated, do i have to log into my leeco account as i havent created one? Do i have to set it to a specific region? as i have it set to other regions
many thanks in advance

Moto G4 - How to dissable/get rid of Google Search Bar on Home Screen?

Hello o/
Is there any fast way to dissable it (or even delete)? I dont like any launchers on the AppStore, I just want to take it away from my home screen ;d
There is a way, but you will need to root and have Xposed installed. This is the module: Xposed GEL Settings
root =/= flashing? i will lose warranty after rooting? is there any guide how to root g4?
Looks like xposed GEL is the only way to accomplish that, if you'd want to stick to the default launcher.
Alternatively, if you don't want to go through the process of unlocking bootloader + rooting + installing xposed with temporary reboot to custom recovery, you could try a different launcher, such as Nova Launcher off playstore. Then there's the new Taskbar app which can keep the homescreen clutter free while giving quick access to shortcuts and apps.

I can't imagine not liking any of the dozens of launchers available. Many are identical to the crappy stock launcher with more options.

ZE552KL WW_14.2020.1703 update disable theme, need earlier SystemUI

Seems like theming is no longer possible on WW_14.2020.1703. All themes can't be downloaded, instead, it sends 'waiting' message that seems to last forever. Anyone experiencing this? If by any chance. SystemUI apk from earlier version of android N could be shared, preferably from 1701, it would be much appreciated. I'd like to go back to a theme that brings me closest to stock android quick setting appearance.

If you have rooted, just disable themes app, change the apk in system with an older version released at the end of last year, enable and wipe data. If app crashes, wipe theme app data, disable, reboot and enable.

I also tried to install compatible themes (according to developers description from Playstore) with Asus launcher but no luck. I don't have root. Is there another method without root access ?
I like Asus launcher but i hate his icons/notifications

Icon packs does a better job for that. You don't need themes. I prefer icon pqcks from Sourabh Gupta. He updates icons frequently and all his icon packs has 5700+ icons. His latest Android O Icon Pack is pretty awesome. It is paid though.

I'm afraid that's not possible without root unless Asus re-enable the option in future update. I think the transparency of quick setting might cause issue(s) with currently available themes. And you're right, quick setting with the rounded toggles and notifs, especially in lock screen, are painfully ugly.
Hi guys, there's a fresh post https://www.xda-developers.com/downgrade-an-app-android-no-root/ , anyone has successfully downgraded to earlier version of zenui with third party theme support?

Google search bar

Hi all.
I tried to google answer and haven't found anything useful.
Is there any chance to remove Google search bar from main screen? I tried to disable app, but after rebooting bar is still there. Just inactive. Read somewhere that it's built into stock launcher. So only way to remove it is to change launcher? No other way with/without root?
Yes, without root you can only use another launcher. I can recommend you Nova Launcher.

Yup, if root, search with root explorer in system, system/priv-app /velvet , then rename velvet ,add .bak, like this velvet.bak or delete. I hope this helps, Saludos.
EDIT: is the only way to eliminate the google search bar that I know.

I did exactly as you said. Rebooted phone. Google app is missing from app list, but still have search bar on home screen. It's just inactive (clicking on it does nothing).

Forgot to mention. I have Oreo 8.0. Tried with Pixel Launcher, but still can't remove it. Will try Xposed method now or will wait for Oreo 8.1 update?
Anyway - thanks for your help
edit: Tried Xposed with "Google search bar destroyer" and "GEL settings" modules. None of them work. So before 8.1 update arrive on our phones I'm going to try other launchers. Starting with Nova.

I tried and failed to remove the google search bar, too... I ended up with Microsoft Launcher and find it works very well for what I want. I have not used Nova launcher for about 10 years I would say so I have no ideas on it now. But you could do worse than MS Launcher.
Don't over complicate things and be stubborn about staying on stock launcher. Nova is a great alternative, and I'm sure there are others out there as well. Apart from solving this particular issue you will have much more control of your home screens and app drawer.

If you have Root, install a custom ROM, or install a launcher then using TWRP or a root explorer, rename, freeze, delete stock
You can also use No Limits ROM, it's really a Magisk MOD, yet it has the option to remove stock launcher and replace with a different one. Here is the link to it.

Very simple no root needed.
Install the launcher that you want
Go to Settings/Apps & notifications/Default apps/Home app
Change to your installed new launcher
No need to delete the stock launcher

I do NOT recommend to remove the OnePlus launcher if you are using the gesture navigation.
The launcher process is also containing the services for the gestures.
Therefore, like stated above, I also recommend to leave the default launcher as it is and just install the one you want.
Edit: screenshot for reference. I'm using an alternative launcher and still need OnePlus launcher because of the running service.

[APP] Miui Stock Launcher with an App Drawer

Hello,
The stock launcher got an alpha with some new features, there is now an app drawer, and you can long press icons to shows actions.
Go to the setting and activate the option.
Enjoy!
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/xiaomi-inc/miui-launcher/ version must be 4.14 at least

Downloaded latest version (MIUI System Launcher DEV-4.10.3.1023-06211951 beta from July 10, 2019 and MIUI System Launcher ALPHA-4.10.6.1056-07042050 July 5, 2019), there are new options (like context menu for long pressing apps, witch is awesome!), but I don't seem to find option to enable app drawer. Am I missing anything?

Because its conflict with ur stock miui launcher.
thanks, but is there a solution ? If it's in conflict, no one should be able to install the Alpha or Beta.

Let me know:good:
So I'm back with some feedback, I deactivated the system launcher and attempted to install the Alpha version - "app not installed", same result with the Beta. Then I completely deinstalled the system launcher (after installing Poco launcher), and finally managed to install the Beta version from apk mirror website, but it kept crashing. I'm using Poco for now as I want an app drawer.

Install xposed if you haven't already and then CustoMIUIzer. There is a setting to downgrade apps. Just got the app drawer launcher working. Backup first if you don't have xposed installed. Just in case
Cheers

Reverts back after a reboot.
New version released today (August 8, 2019) - ALPHA-4.12.1151-08072050 (41201151). It has no App Drawer.
Latest version witch has App Drawer is "ALPHA-4.10.6.1043-06261633 (41061043)".
Wonder if they have given up on App Drawer for good... it's sad, I really like this App Drawer...

It still have app drawer if installed on top of previous version with app drawer. There is no option to select app drawer or the classic one. Now have share button when long press an icon and "search for apps" at bottom of app drawer.

Wow! it works! I was uninstalling previous version and installing new one (witch I thought was the right procedure), and I was getting a Launcher without App Drawer.
So, we have to first install "ALPHA-4.10.6.1043-06261633 (41061043)", then we have to enable App Drawer (option in chinese in Launcher settings), to finally install "ALPHA-4.12.1151-08072050 (41201151)" and still have App Drawer (with new search option!!).
Thanks for your tip! It's really good news to see they are still working on App Drawer!
Hello,
Don't install the version ALPHA-4.16.0.1457-01131743 from January 19, 2020, its force close.
