do custom ROMs support the keyboard cover? - Galaxy S6 Edge+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

There is a nice keyboard cover for the S6 Edge+.
The question is, if Lineage OS etc. will support this, since the screen will be automatically reduced if you attach it.

why the hell would you put this on your phone
PS : I will work on stock rom, and stock based custom roms only

There are a ROM with allmost Samsung features ripped off?

i received a S5 and of an debt and i will use it, Im a motorola user and im used with rom's like "minimal ROM" with everything ripped, There are any ROM for S5 duos like that?
Thanks
You can use any touchwiz based rom and remove features you don't want at installation. Try epsilon for example that what i used.
If you don't want touchwiz at all, you can just flash aosp or cm rom, it removes all samsung features.

I hate this touchwiz, i will try this epsilon, it work the fingerprint?
Why its so dificult find a clean ROM for samsungs, touchwiz + bloatware sux Hahahah
Thanks
You can choose what stock features to leave, and fingerprint is one of them, so yes you can make fingerprint work.
There is also XtreStoLite which consists in a very debloated rom (500mb or so) and in an add-on which has every samsung feature from wich you can chose only those you need (like fingerprint or one hand mode). An the battery life its just...amazing. Minimal rom...maximal batt.

Stock Lollipop or ResurrectionRemix or Any other custom ROM?

Hey there!
I'm pretty new here. Anyway, I was wondering if I should go ahead with installing the stock Lollipop update for Zenfone 5 or should I use a custom ROM, say, ResurrectionRemix? I've been checking on this for a while now and found out that the Stock Lollipop ROM has battery and heating issues whereas ResurrectionRemix has GPS, FM and slight stability issues. Also, camera not working after unlocking bootloader seems to be a common issue. So I'm not sure which one to install. I love both the interface and style anyway, though I've always had a thing for the native Adroid Lollipop style.. Could you also suggest some other nice ROMs out there?
If you want to try something new, go for Custom ROMs.

Need suggestion from S7 edge users

Hey guys,
I have an S7 edge running stock since I purchased it. Feel like flashing custom ROMs in it but need some suggestion from S7 edge users. Many would have flashed many custom ROMs in their S7 edge and how does it feel running a stock ROM and custom ROMs.? Is it better in Stock or in custom ROM?. I am not a serious user of Samsung Pay, Private mode, Secure folder so I can live without these things. My only concern is the stock camera pro mode. Any of you have a replacement similar or better than stock camera in custom ROMs?. Please suggest.
Thanks.

Having a Custom rom gives you more power over your phone, you could customize more than what your stock would give, remove the bloatwares and increase performance of the phone.
You gotta find a custom rom that supports your device number.
pros:
fingerprint unlock on reboot
s9 s8 features
sometimes performance and charging are better
can do different things with root access
cons:
s9 and s8 features are usually incomplete or partially bugged if not entirely
sometimes performance is worse
gear vr doesn't work on ports correctly
if u mess up something or innately the rom has problems it can cause a bootloop
notes:
stock camera is better than s8 or s9 camera because it has to stretch the image somewhat
my bank didn't support samsung pay so i didnt care

Best custom ROM for Galaxy Note 3 with functional S pen features? + how to backup original ROM from a never rooted phone?

Hi there, I am still new in this area of custom ROM, so any help or advice is very welcomed. I have a Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005, but I am trapped in android 5.0 so lots of the apps is not working for me anymore. A friend recommended me to search XDA for possible solutions here and I found that I can upgrade my android beyond the official updates here.
My main aim is to get a newer android so I can use PlayStore to install the latest version of this and also preserve the S pen functionality. Can anyone mention what are the best custom ROMs to install that can allow me to use the S pen to write down notes or be used for writing in the keyboard instead of typing? Also how can I back up my phone original ROM just in case the custom ROM does not work?
Thanks a lot for the help .
Every rom will works with Spen actually, I'd recommend Crdroid because its has lots of customization and feature

ROM Suggestion

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016, SM-T585 with stock rom 8. is there any better performance rom with 100% functionality? or should I stick with current stock?
Most custom roms for that device are more or less dead, except I think LOS. Mine is still on the old Bliss rom, but I don't use the device much any more either.
You could try LOS or any of the other roms, and go back to stock if you don't like it
Oh and on Bliss just make sure to use a lockscreen method, even if it's only Swipe - if you set it to None the screen becomes unresponsive and you can't use the device.
