Thanks for posting. If I'm correct this does have the updated bootloader "2" so no rooting and no going back to an earlier version of nougat.

That's correct. It does contain bootloader version 2, once you flash you won't be able to go back to older firmwares.

So, I have a dual sim s8 plus international bought in kuwait. I don't have WIFI calling or HD video/voice on the phone software. I want these functions, I do a lot of international travel & wifi calling is what I depend on. Will this T-Mobile firmware work for my dual SIM? Will it be able to update? Also, this won't install t-moblie bloatware will it?

This will only work for the G955U or G955U1 US International model.

Yes, you will be able to downgrade to this firmware, as long it has the same bootloader version, which it does.

When I try to downgrade using ODIN and sammobile Firmware, the device wont launch anymore - boot loop.
I have the proper files (incl. PIT, CSC, MODEM, etc.) of the desired version officially and directly from Samsung for my region.
When I try to downgrade using ODIN and official Samsung Firmware, the device is very laggy, does not recognize my SIM Card and the Basebandversion and IMEI is 'Unknown'.
Is this possible at all? The phone is not yet rooted or altered in any way.

no AOD support yet and i think samsung is not going to release it on the S6 you know samsung if there is somthing new it is not going to the older devices
i dont gonna buy any samsung phones any more because they are bad with software updates and stupid AF they have to learn allot of other companys just release al the features to the older devices like apple sony nexus ect is doing for me my next phone is the pixel

True they are bad with software updates, but an official AODService by Samsung app was uploaded on Samfirmware website, and it said compatible with S7 & S6 specifically, leading us to believe that AOD is in the works for the S6, considering the new Galaxy A8 has the same chipset as our S6 but also has AOD.

yes i know that but if we think logical it has never been done yet that samsung is releasing new featers of one newer model to the previous model or am i wrong? and i still cant understand samsung they can give the a8 (midrange) the features of the s7 but not the flagship s6

The Russian build of G920FXXU4DPJN fails after applying hidden.img. Using an older version now instead as Russian seems to be the only one with 2016-11-01 security updates.

Yes, flashing the Russian build via Odin fails at ~90%, on hidden.img. I was afraid it would brick the device, but it didn't. I used flashed another build over the existing one, it worked just fine.

Extract hidden.img and rename it to hidden.img.tar, then flash with AP option in Odin.

Download the firmware you want, extract it, and if ur rooted, DO NOT HAVE FLASH ANY KERNELS OR BL... so u can stay rooted,

This is a stock odex rom, but what I noticed a few days ago is, that it is not really accepting the rom, the files from the system.img is what's there.
I debloated my rom to find all the files stay from the img.
It has to be because the kernel or system we r using, NO TWRP Recovery either.
Flashfire, when u wipe the system, it is only wiping data. And something is not allowing for the files to stick or write to system.
And if u delete to many files from the system apps or priv-apps it will not work for the recovery to just wipe data or factory reset.
It will go through a loop when u gonna sign in for Google.
I had so many files deleted and recovery was working, and removed 2 more, which I can't remember, and after factory reset it didn't log in to Google cause of that loop.
I need my phone working, and need to a least factory reset if it hangs,
So at the moment I have to leave it with the full system, till I have some time to find safe files to remove so that recovery wipe will work.

I'm not sure what mirror you're looking for but if you go to updato.com or, from AndriodDevices' post, sammobile.com you should find the firmware there.
