Is anyone having issues using video on their camera and on the oreo beta? I didnt test video out before upgrading to oreo, but I am unable to record video with the stock camera app or the google camera apk. Is anyone on oreo and able to use video? Photos works no fine, wondering if its the beta or my device.
The stock camera app gives the following error when trying to record:
"could not start recording please make sure there is no other recording application"
The google apk just crashes ad says:
"Unable to connect to camera"

When you try to record in the Google camera app it cannot record and you cannot use the stock app anymore until a reboot. Just do a reboot and don't use the Google cam app on Oreo. it is too buggy.

Hello. I have latest build of CyanogenMod 11. I recorded video with preinstalled CM camera and when i press stop button camera crash. Now i can play video from camera app, but i cant play it from Gallery or in PC with VLC or MPC-HC. I try encode mp4 file to avi but i faced error - incorrect file. Can you help me please? Thanks
Please can anyone help me fix this, the stock video app tells me unfortunately video has stopped anytime i try to open it. If i open a video from a file explorer or from quick pic it would work but for the past 2 days it doesnt even work at all even if i do it that way. Ive cleared the cache and even data but still no luck. I dont want to have to factory reset cos of that. Im using the s5 g900H rooted with xposed installed.
Any help would be duely appreciated. Thanks

When i ever i get that error its because the video is corrupt and it means its not fully downloaded or has problems.another reason can be that the video extension isnt supported by the video player just try another video player to open the video if that works then thats the reason why its not working in sammy video player. ?
The videos play in vlc and other media players but not on stock video player cos the stock video player does not open at all. When i try to open it i get the error message "unfortunately video has stopped".

I heard it's due size mismatch of the video file
The latest system update (Lenovo YB1-X90L_S000437_170519) spoiled the running of the Youtube application in MultiWindow mode.
YouTube app version is 12.19.56.
This YouTube app version runs on a previous Lenovo system without problems.
Error message: "Multi wondow mode is not supported".
Has anyone ever noticed this problem?

I think they disabled it. Which makes sense, there were a number of issues with multi-window mode and the youtube app. Try using the browser for youtube. If you need the browser and youtube open at the same time, just download another browser.
I am on latest build of CrDroid Nougat official. If I download a picture from Google search or take a screenshot, I can not send it in messenger or upload in Facebook immediately. I have to do a restart before I can send those. But if I take a photo via camera it works fine. Why is this happening? Anyone facing this issue?
Facebook says "your video is smaller than 1 kb" while selecting the file.
Messenger just fails to send the pic.
Previously I was on AEX rom. Back then I faced this with screenshot.
Anyone facing this? Why am I facing this?
Note: Google apps storage access was disabled. I enabled it manually via going to permissions.
