I have still allways the same Problem with rooing from my P8 lite.
I got today a new update with EMUI 4.03.
After the update I got the message that my phone is rooted and it is dangerous.
Root checker basic shows the message "Sorry! Root access is not proberly installrd on this device"
SuperSU shows the message "Root undetected"
How can I root my P8 Lite correct? who can help me?
many thanks.

Sorry for asking:
1.Does your USB cable/port work good?
What does fastboot devices command says are your devices listed?
2.Does your bootloader truly unlocked?(i running ALE-L21C432B614 and bootloader writes unlocked even if locked i think its a bug)
What is the current output of fastboot oem unlock <your bootloader unlock code>?

I think the USB-Port and cable is ok.
1.) Is start my P8 lite with comand "adb.exe reboot bootloader" in fastboot&rescue mode.
The P8 lite screen shows:
"fastboot&rescue mode
Please connect Usb Cable to your Computer and Open Hisuite
More Information:
http://zh.ui.vmall.com/emotiondownload.php?mod=restore
reboot_enter_fastboot_common_func
green Android Picture
Phone Unlocked
Keep Pressing Volume Up to Exit this Mode"
2.) I will download the twrp with command "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img"
twrp.img is "RecoveryTwrpV3.0.2.img".
3.) after start the fastboot command shows the prompt the following messages
"C:\fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
< waiting for device >"
and nothing happens anymore.
The UniversalAdbDriverSetup.msi Drivers are installed on my PC.
My current Phone Build: ALE-L21C432B614
EMUI: 4.0.3
Android 6.0
I have no a solution for my problem for root my phone.

Go to fastboot mod and after you see the fastboot&Rescue mod screen run this command in your pc:
fastboot devices
If fastboot detects your phone you should see your serial number.
If not you probably will see nothing in the command line on your PC.
Give me the output please

can you please tell me how can i get build number using adb bootl loader

Getting your device connected is a very important stage, whether it is system, recovery or fastboot. From what I read , you can connsct through fasatboot, since you flashed cyanogen. Just flash TWRP 3.2.1 or so which is the latest, through fastboot:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.3.2.1 .img ( Remember the spaces, the name twrp.xxx.img should be same as you downloaded. If flash is successful, you can see twrp when you boot to recovery. Then flash supersu file and/or whichever rom you want.
Sorry for late answers.
I was lil busy and sorry for wrong address also.
You could get it from firmwarefile.com
I can't post link here but select yu yureka plus variant and download oldest CBP

[Solved] Huawei P9 Lite Bricked

Hello, I was curious if anyone could help me with unbricking my phone, my phone has no custom recovery installed, the bootloader is apparently unlocked (OEM unlocking is disabled), FRP lock is enabled, I cannot flash anything (Command not allowed), relock bootloader (Root type is at risk), Unlock bootloader (Command not allowed), any help would be appreciated.
Edit: I also cannot boot a from a recovery img locally using fastboot (Command not allowed)

Are you sure you run from inside the folder where adb.exe and fastboot.exe is? Boot to bootloader and use terminal pointed to fastboot.exe. Shift+right click -> open command line here. Make sure your devices is listed: adb devices. If device is shown: adb reboot bootloader, to reboot to bootloader. If not, install adb drivers / huawei drivers.

Yes I am sure, also, I have no way to access ADB since there is no recovery on the phone.
Only thing I can do is boot to that eRecovery screen with the option to download, reboot or shutdown. (Automatticly goes to here), or boot to bootloader

Well if you can access to bootloader then you able to use fastboot commands. ADB is not related to recovery anyhow, you use windows command prompt to use adb and fastboot. IF FRP is locked, unlock bootloader again. I quiet don't understand how the command are not allowed or so. You are definitely doing something wrong.

The problem is I cannot unlock bootloader again, flash anything or boot into any image in fastboot mode, I always get "ERROR: (Command not allowed)", attempting to relock the bootloader shows "ERROR: (Root type is at risk)"
EDIT: I have done some research for the dload method, If I want to dload to hopefully fix it, I'll need VNS-L22C636B381, but the official link from the hicloud is dead, if anyone could help me with that, that'd be great.
Last EDIT: Ended up scratching the above idea as it didn't work, gritted my teeth as I bought DC Phoenix and will update if it works out with the .APP from the latest package I found on firmware finder.

No fastboot option on Oneplus 8 Pro - can't unlock bootloader

I have a brand new Oneplus 8 Pro from China with global ROM installed.
I wanted to unlock the bootloader however there is no fastboot option in the boot menu.
There is Start, Restart Bootloader, Recovery and Turn Off.
The Fastboot option is missing.
I can connect the phone to my PC, adb recognizes the phone, but Fastboot is missing.
Any ideas?

Sure. You are allready in that mode. Just type fastboot devices and check..
I did that but no response.
The cursor jumps to the next line but there is no response from the phone.
If I type adb devices the phone is listed but the fastboot command doesn't return anything.

Restart to bootloader, then fastboot should work. If your phone is still on, and you can access adb, you should also be able to type adb reboot bootloader
Thanks.
So apparently the command "fastboot devices" returns nothing.
However I was able to unlock the bootloader just by entering "adb reboot bootloader" then
"fastboot oem unlock".
What confused me was that there is no "fastboot" option on the phone itself as there was on my Oneplus 5t.

The option in the power menu is called bootloader (fastboot only will work there) the hint was in the adb command I gave you, adb reboot BOOTLOADER. Not sure why they changed what the menu was called but I'm glad you got it sorted. To give you a short summary, adb will only work when your phone is powered on and booted into android, or if you have recovery mode open and on the adb section, and fastboot only works in the bootloader hope that could help!
Edit: fastboot devices should work but only in bootloader mode, not when your phone is started normally

You have to insert a SIM card, boot of the device and make a phone call to get it to register your device. Wait a few minutes and then restart your phone. Go into settings under about phone and enable developer options. Back out and go into developer options and you will see OEM unlock. You need to turn that on and USB debugging. Both of them must be turned on. Now you can boot into fastboot and unlock your bootloader. It will wipe the device so if you have any data you want to save you better do it now.

That's a driver issue.
Are you using Windows 7? If so use 10
If not then sort out your driver's and it'll be fine.
Theres a bug in 7 where the driver for ADB cannot be collaborated with fastboot drivers.

If you type fastboot reboot what happens? If nothing then either you're device doesn't have usb debugging on, could be the cable/usb slot (some people have had issues with this)
Or its the driver installed for fastboot.
Show hidden devices in device manager you may have multiple devices, remove them all and start over.
Your also need to have used ADB and have trusted the device (prompt will appear on your phone the first time you connect it successfully whilst in your phones system, not fastboot)
for windows 10:
firstly download the google adb driver:
Get the Google USB Driver | Android Studio | Android Developers
The Google USB Driver is required to perform adb debugging on Windows with Google devices.
developer.android.com
then do the following:
1. adb devices [you should see your device ] > adb reboot bootloader
2. device manager > update driver > chose from list [android device]
3. still in device manager got the newly populated Android device and then update driver > choose adb interface
3. fastboot oem unlock
etc.
hope this helps

Secure Boot means your Bootloader is locked.
Setup fastboot correctly, open a cmd window, navigate to fastboot.exe and enter fastboot oem unlock, follow instructions on phone screen

[ROOT] I can boot in fastboot, but it says "waiting for device". I installed a lot of drivers, what to do?

I unlocked the bootloader, the FRP too.
Now I need to flash the TWRP image with the command "fastboot flash recoery_ramdisk twrp.img" because it is a partition A only.
Those are the steps I take:
1) connect USB the device
2) enable USB debugging
3) adb reboot bootloader
4) the phone boots with the fastboot screen
(it says PHONE unlocked, FRP unlocked)
5) I put the command: "fastboot flash recoery_ramdisk twrp.img" (I have twrp.img in the same folder as the adb)
6) the console gives me <waiting for the device>
I red around a lot, and in a lot of threads even here on XDA it says it's adriver issues, so I isntalled Universal ADB driver, then 15 seconds adb drivers, the n tried to downlowad the Hi Suite but it doesn't even start (I have Win 10)

Hi There.
change you rcovery image file name to "twrp.img" and move them to c:/ partition.
then enter the command bellow : fastboot flash recovery c:/twrp.img
NOTICE : Of course, I installed twrp custom recovery on my huawei p8 gra-ul00 phone and im very regretted.
And you're doing this at your own risk.
Regards,
