No OTG on Galaxay Tab E running LineageOS 14.1 - LineageOS News & Discussion
Should I expect OTG to work for the 9.6" Galaxy Tab E on the latest LineageOS? My OTG cable works on a stock Kindle Fire but not my Galaxy. I did not try it on the Galaxy prior to flashing LineageOS but there are reports (and youtube vids) that suggests it should work. I've tried my mouse and a few flash drives to no avail.
I tested with OTG Tester and USB OTG Checker. It passed in both apps.
File /system/etc/permissions/android.hardware.usb.host.xml does exist.
USB Configuration is set to MTP.
Are there really device-specific OTG cables or is that a marketing gimic? Mine has this description on Amazon: Insten Micro USB OTG to USB 2.0 Adapter Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S6/ Galaxy S6 Edge Samsung Galaxy Note 4 / Samsung Galaxy S IV / S4 i9500

CM 13 on sm-a510f aka samsung galaxy a5 2016
Is there anyone currently working on porting CM 13 to sm-a510? The 2015 model has had CM 13 ported, but I think it would the new model? I'm having a lot of issues with the Position Independent Executable security feature on stock 6.0.1 + i'd like to get Nethunter running/ported.

hello everyone I have a question for you, do you know if any of you could build a project trable for the samsung galaxy tab e ???? it's possible??? The google open sources should be these https://source.android.com/devices/architecture it would be nice if this device could have andoid 8.1 or 9.1 or 10 and maybe even android 11 but at 1,5Gb of ram maybe I don't know if it could run android 11 but according to android 10 or 9.1 or oreo it could run very well and a pinion of mine I own a samsung galaxy s6 and for my device and samsung galaxy J7 / J5 and so on ... which don't support proget trable and there are people who have managed to build proget trable for their device so i was just wondering if c 'was someone who is able to do the same for the samusng galaxy tab e
