Doubt between 4 prime/pro with 3gb ram and 32gb a 4/4x with 4gb ram and 64gb - Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime Questions & Answers

A little help, I am in doubt about the 4x and 4 pro / prime, I have some questions
1- I will notice a lot of day-to-day performance difference between a snapdragon 435 (28nm) at 1.4ghz and a 625 (14nm) at 2.0ghz
2 - being the 4x / 4 encounter with versions of 4gb ram and 64gb of storage and the 4Pro 3gb ram and 32gb, 4gb of ram would help in the performance of the 4 / 4X?
3- In 32GB versions, when starting the first time, how much storage is left in the device?

1. You won't notice performance difference in day-to-day use
2. 4GB ram won't be any deal breaker, as 4x can't handle heavy apps very well.
3. About 21GB free.

The prime Is better than X.
But they stop making them like half year ago And there will be no upgrade on A7 or A8
If you can live with bigger screen than i suggest you the redmi note 4 global (mido). Same hw as prime, 4gb ram and miui9 with a7

My take on this is go for any version with the 635, the price difference is like 20/30€ and you get 3gb instead of 2gb ram
The Note 4x has alot of ROM support like LOS oficial, and has 5'5" screen só it's wonderfull for videos
I personally like the prime best because it's 5". Where the Note versions are just a tad to big for fast 1hand daily tasks

Redmi Note 2 (2GHz) vs. Redmi Note 2 PRIME (2,2GHz)

i found this video of comparison of redmi note 2 and PRIME version. There is about 2000 difference in Antutu.

it is roughly 47000 vs 50000, but you won't notice the difference at all.
It's 200MHz faster, in other words 10% more.

I'm finding the 32GB of storage very useful
You can go down to 1430MHz and GPU to 400MHz = any game work fine. Like Ouzo sad, it's about the 32GB. With 128GB sd you got more than enough

with which app have you make the 1430MHz/400Mhz settings ?
Bought the 2.2ghz/32gb variant
Hi guys, I bought the "prime" variant off of Chinese e-commerce site, JD.com, which is supposed to be one of the most reliable e-commerce platforms here (unlike taobao). The phone's About page and other places list the hardware that I expect to be there, but nowhere is the word "Prime" included in the model name. And also suspicious, the Model Number is listed simply as Redmi Note 2. These two things together begin to make me doubt this is the real deal, and not some equally priced knock off. All the Mi apps work, including xiaomi account creation and cloud storage and so on. Does anyone have a Redmi Note 2 they know is the prime variant and legitimate, who can confirm this is normal for the info in the About Phone page?
Thanks!
I've got a prime, mine doesn't say anything about it.

Prime version is not written under the phone name. Just check storage and processor (CPU) under the settings- about phone- and if you see 32 gb-2,2Ghz, you have prime version. If you don't bolive that just install antutu and check your hardware.
Using both the Redmi Note 2 and the Prime. What I would say is that 10% is different in processing power, feels the same. The good part is that you more storage for Prime topping up another 12 bucks or so, which is a bargain. Antutu result was almost the same for me or worst depending on the ROM installed.
Attached is my Antutu results. The Prime results on Geekbench 3 looks more impressive than Honor 7 results but not the on the Antutu.

thx for answer. for what version is this benchmark?
I bought Prime because it has 32GB ROM. That's a big help even with SD slot. But I would say from day to day usage perspective they are not much different in performance.
Any I am using Redmi Note 2 Prime, but will be doing the benchmark Redmi Note 3 next week. All the benchmark used is current and downloaded thru the playstore.
im still bugged with this question. so how big is fps difference in popular games between 6795 and 6795t. becouse 23fps is big difference to 30fps if it scale with 550 to 700.

Its better the 3gb for multitasking and save data. Remember that this phone dont bring microsd slot.
Can someone confirm if the ROMs for redmi note 3 will work for redmi note 2 ?
If the HW is so similar as it seems they should be compatible...
What I don't like in note 3 is the non removable battery and no SD.
definitely the 3GB version.. you can get it quite cheap on geekbuying its only 209$

I think you can take even 2gb... If you don't play heavy games and not multi

Agreed, I have tested huawei mate 7 with 2Gb ram and it' runs more smoothly than my Samsung galaxy note 3 with 3GB RAM. 2 GB RAM is enough if system is optimised and without unnecessary bloatware. However 3gb xiaomi versions will be easier to sell in the future than 2gb

[Q] 6GB/8GB smartphones ?

Like OnePlus 5
is the 8GB version = 4GB + 4GB of RAM ? or Single 8GB ?
and 6GB version, is it 2GB + 4GB ? or single 6GB ?
the qualcomm 835 page does not tell any useful-related info to this question
neither OnePlus 5 specs page
they only show:
Memory Speed
1866MHz
Memory Type
Dual-Channel
LPDDR4x
I don't understand your question... it has 6GB or 8GB of RAM, what difference does it make if it's two 4GB chips or 8GB (or four 2GB chips), or a 2GB and 4GB or a single 6GB chip (or three 2GB chips)? If you are referring to the "dual-channel" thing, then you should look into what that technology is, but it could easily be implemented in a single chip if it was specifically designed for that. Mobiles rarely use "off the shelf" components and are chips are often specifically designed for applications as needed.
This is pretty much off topic for this area anyway, probably more appropriate to ask in the OnePlus 5 group.

Is 4 GB Ram Version Suffiecent & have good camera? Compared to RN5Pro

How is the perfomance will it lag after usage for few days, will it be suffiscient of 4 gb RAM or will i have to wait for 6gb Ram for better camera and ease to use

Possibility of better MIUI performance

Could it be that if they carried the Redmi 7A MIUI, it wouldn't look better on Potter?
I have the variant with 2gb ram and had several performance issues with MIUI, especially in games, I really like MIUI, but so not to use, I play a lot, I realized that always carry the MIUI devices with more ram (usually 4gb ram ...), if you had one with less ram would not be better?
The improvement would be not only in the 2gb variant, but also in the 3gb and 4gb variant.
The Redmi 7A has a Snapdragon 439 and 2gb ram
