One Plus 5t NavBar - Moto G5 Plus Questions & Answers

Hi all,
Is it possible to port the one plus 5t nav bar with the white background on the nav bar to the moto g5 plus as a flashable zip through twrp which doesn't require root and works on the stock rom. I love the feature from the one plus 5t and lg ux software where the background of the navbar is white but I didn't find a way to get it even with root access.

what about MM roms

To me MM is a classic rom and I would love to see some updated MM roms, like a updated RR or, better yet a lineage 13 by seraph would be dope. Rolled with nougat but I can really customize MM and I love a couple of the new modules, Xposed edge(Xposed edge module smokes RR), Get Xposed always correct (that module let's you use word prediction in the password field, also get xposed navbar module, get the nougat nav bar module and get flat style colored bars, set up the nav bar and open up flat style colored bars and link status bar color with nav bar (pro feature) and your nav bar buttons change color and your Recents button is now in the bottom right also get Recents clear module and set clear all button bottom right (use alternate icon) and get Recents tuner module to hide the old clear all button, then get nav bar media visualizer module the default color is red it's the tightest one and you'll have media visualizer in your nav bar that works with poweramp, also android N-ify is updated every other day on jenkins, I love the new adblock reborn module BTW xposed always correct is the reason i switched back to MM it's so handy. So i switched from RR to lineage 13 by lonstar with xposed, I'm so sick of pixel blue it doesn't match my default cm 13 wallpaper, pixel blue doesn't match a lot of wallpapers, actually Nougat has been a disappointment.

S8 navigation bar on A7 2016 (nougat)?

Is there any possibility that we can get Samsung galaxy S8 navigation bar on A series 2016 nougat. If there is any guide or mod or something. Please tell me. Yes there are apps for navigation bar but these overlap the screen content. I really don't like them.
Thanks
For me , I'm using A5 2016 running nougat . I successfully enabled navbar using the old method (hw.qemu) , it looks pretty identical to S8's navbar , but buggy and looks more uglier than I was expected.
I enabled nav bar in same way. Nav bar bottons/icon looks ugly but does the work. I tried different apps to change that but no avail. Nav bar app provide some coloring option.

iPhone X gestures

Is there any option to make iPhone X gestures on S8
Which gestures do you mean exactly?
There is no nav bars . Only gestures. When you close an app, only scroll up from bottom of screen. Or when you scroll up half, it shows recently used apps. Like these. By this way , nav bar doesn't fill a place at screen.
You could hide the navbar by pressing the dot in the left.
For the rest, I think it COULD be possible to do that kind of gestures in some custom rom.
That's my first rom without custom rom so I cannot speak for that but in my past phones, most times there was an option for that. You could hide the status bar, the navbar and could save some custom gestures like the one you want.
I highly doubt that anyone will do an iOS-like rom. That's just not a thing the wide community wants. You could also just sell your S8 and buy yourself the iPhone X. That would be the best option.
Why you need them?
You've problems with your nav bar?
We have nav bar and we don't need them
If this is not the case, I would suggest you to sell s8 and purchase a X
I don't like nav bar placing screen. That's all.
Just use navbar hider APK or 0pt navbar apk and download all in one gestures from the playstore or personally my favorite simple control and voila oh and enable all full screen apps to get rid of that stupid white tap her to fill screen bull****.
I'm sure that alternative navbar are coming with an iphoneX-like style
But if you don't want to wait, just use some gestures apps from the play store
When Blackberry 10 came out with these gestures in 2013, it wasn't as popular, but when Apple copies it, it becomes an interesting invention. When first iPhone came out, then others were trying to catch up, but for few years it is the opposite. So we need to look what is ahead and not at the past.
Hide navbar/status bar permanently

For gestures, download Nova Launcher Prime and assign gesture controls. In fact, get that set up before ditching the nav bar
Solutions
Hello You can use "All in one gestures" for simulete home.

There are many apps that offer 3rd party gesture based navigation. Among these are a slew of iPhone X gesture clones. Worth noting: iPhone X gestures are not ideal for the S8, as swiping up will cause the navbar to reappear. There is a way of permanently hiding the navbar, but it does not work on Oreo.
Download x home bar:free from the play store.

How can I change the color of the Nav Bar buttons?

Not the bar itself. And I've tried a couple of apps, I think one is called Navigation Bar, but it is a replacement so it doesn't use the screen real estate the same.
I'm running 6T 9.0.12 w/ renovate ice 11.1, stock kernel. Bootloader unlocked (of course) TWRP installed. Just looking to change the button color(s) only to match the rest of the system and highlights. I've been hanging to the old 24k OG Droid theme color forever.

Moto g5 plus reverted system theme to white automatically, can't change it back, Help

Moto G5 Plus
8.1.0 Oreo
05/27/2020
My g5+ has without warning changed my theme to white, it was set to dark and I can't find out how to change it back. I searched how to and came up with Moto actions and display but neither have options for themes on my phone, and both are up to date and so is the device.
Plz help as the brightness of the UI is now blistering my looking balls.

Are you on any custom rom? It should be under display in the settings app. If it doesn't work, reboot. That fixes quite a lot of things.
