Help! Stuck in google verify! - Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) Questions & Answers

I have been trying to reboot a used phone I have bought. The Samsung Galaxy J3 (6). Yes, there is a 6 after the J3 inside of a little circle. Apparently this is the closest thing that xda has to it on the forums. I have tried everything I could find on the internet to get around this google verify problem from the previous user. I have used the emergency caller to basically access everything on the phone. I have attempted to change the google account through settings, I have installed new apps to access other areas, I have have tried to downgrade Google Account Manager to disable the "error" problem in the quick shortcut app. This last method didn't work due to the phone not letting me be able to downgrade. I have installed the rootjunkie's samsung unlocker apk and got to settings. I have factory reset from here twice, with and without a password. Both did not do a thing for me. I am out of ideas. can anybody help me out here?

The issue is FRP. Someone has factory reset from recovery instead of settings.
If you can get into settings as you say then set up another Google account then switch to that account.
Restart and log into that account.
Which firmware build is the device running?

I have tried to add a Google account through several methods as well. Through settings, through Gmail app, through play store. All of which keep taking me to the same verification check screen, but it allows me to back out to the settings again.

My version is 6.01 I believe. But I cannot downgrade to the 6.01 Google account manager with new security stuff.

Your device is nearly identical to J320A & J320AZ.
I am unsure if you need to enable "oem unlock" from Dev options to flash the kernel.
But if Odin let's you this method should get you going.

blackberry priv frp bypassed(world first)

Special thanks to rootjunky. I used part of his work to get this done. Enjoy
1. Startup priv
2. Connect to wifi
3 when priv shows checking connection then immediately it shows software update switch of router to stop connection with the priv
4 hit next till u get to the setup pattern screen, setup a pattern lock then restart phone
5 when phone restarts phone will be locked with the pattern u setup earlier.
6 launch the dialer button from th locked screen and dial *#*#4636#*#* to enter secret menu.
7 hit on usage statistics
8 hit on the back button and u will find yourself in settings
9 scroll down to backup and reset
10 reset phone and when phone starts up, setup a new device. That's it
Special hanks to rootjunky for tips
Doesn't work
follow the instructions as I posted before u come here to complain, I bypassed a device with that method . and little correction, the back key u should use when in usage statistics is the back key on the top left corner not the one down.
Even it didn't worked for me. I tried and went through this process very carefully but was all in vain.
Please suggest.
now tell me were u found difficult

Exactly, factory resetting through settings using this guide doesn't bypass FRP. It still asks for the previous persons credentials.

Very strange. I tried this on 5.1 when I got the device and it worked with that process very well, even with the may security update it still works . Frp under normal circumstances shouldn't be triggered if the device is wiped from settings, this leaves us with food for thought.

There is another process used by rootjunky on the s7 were he logs in his Google account inside some process in running applications when e finally arrived in settings . I guess we have to look for a way to log in another Google account before resetting the device .

Yesterday I had the opportunity of handling another priv with frp running on 5.1.1.
Use my instruction on page 1 to access settings.
But this time dont just reset, go to users and lunch as a guest
Then login any Google account when in guest mode.
Then revert to owner once u fully logged in
Then u can reset device now in settings when u in the owner mode and frp is gone .
Enjoy
folowing your instruction on page 1 ..i have acces to setting
but when i do factory reset still ask the googgle account
i do 1 more time ..and when i set to quest user always kick out and back to owner so i cant put my googgle account on this phone
btw this priv have andorid 6.0.1 version and andrroid security pacth 1 may 2016

Galaxy Tab A6 FRP Lock

I recently Hard Reset my Samsung Galaxy Tab A6, SM-T285 through recovery. After booting i cannot sign in to my primary google account because it says "Sign in with a google account that was previously synced on this device". I tried all of my google account
nothing works.
1. Tried Odin Twice with two different version of Firmware
After enabling FRP Lock on Odin, Flashing stuck at "Sending Lock information" and fails
2.Tried Kies3 recovery process
3.Tried to install TWRP using Odin
FRP Lock is still there and i cannot use my phone
Please help me
If the firmware isn't installing it's the wrong one.
You need to go into developer settings and enable OEM UNLOCK.

I would ensure you are using the correct account. My guess is its not.
The Google account will be associated with your device. If it's the correct account then you should be fine.
If you've installed the wrong firmware then Google may see your device as different.
I would sign into your account you think was used on the device via the web then go to Device activity & notifications and ensure your device is listed.
https://accounts.google.com/login
I can see two Devices
1.Samsung Galaxy Tab A6
2.Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 LTE
Mine is Galaxy Tab A6, SM-T285, Recovery email address is correct.
But when i try to login that account on my phone, google says "Sign in with a google account that was previously synced on this device"

Damn... Issue... Smarthswitch does sometimes have bugs. Try creating a new google account to log in. Logging to your samsung account then might let you restore your data. Btw google how to bypass google login. There are many guides but I don't remember one right now.

If you've never used a Google account and your phone is new, you should not be asked for an account. When you turn on the phone for the first time a configuration setup appears which in one of its steps asks you to enter a Google account, if you have done and you have put a pin code the phone will be blocked when you try to alter the system. FRP is activated when you put a security pattern, pin code, or add a Google account. Before installing the twrp you should activate the oem unlock. In any case the phone is stolen, we can not help you with that. Xda has her rules. You can try using a box z3x, medusa, octopus etc etc.
I never use google accounts, why should i ? and the phone was bought through amazon. If you start the first time without any sim card, bypass the google account login and then put twrp on it. You get the same problem as i. You'll see. I don't steal Handys or buy things like that !

If you don't use Google accounts then it must be a very limited experience. Because most of what the device can do is based around Google.
How do you update apps? Backup contacts? Use YouTube etc?
Also it seems you missed out a bit of information above. It doesn't say you've factory reset your device which you must have done to get you in that predicament.
All you needed to do was reinstall the stock firmware to bypass FRP Lock. Wiping the device had compounded the issue.
Its great that you've fixed it, but at least you may realise the value of ensuring you have a working Google account.

Next time go through the settings to wipe it so that you don't have that problem.
Can you get your ex-employee to enter his credentials, so that you can then go through the settings to wipe it?

Hey, just wanted to give everyone a update. I have successfully bypassed the Google frp on the sm-j727v
You'll need the combination file and flash it to the phone, then you will need to manually enter the ADB command to bypass the setup wizard, restart the phone, then enter your own Google account credentials in settings, reflash the phone with the stock rom, re-enter your own Google credentials again during the setup wizard, and there you go, a fully Google bypass!
How?
Hi, have you a guide about how you do it? i cant do it

That would have to have been the account used to set the phone up... Just adding that account wouldn't have caused that. in a hard reset (from recovery) the phone defaults to the first account set up. so if your employee set up your phone your going to need the password for that account

I tried everything, every youtube trick to get by fpr, then found combo file after trying 30 j727vv files and with odin 3.13.1 flashed COMBINATION_VZW_FA70_J727VVRU3ASD1, this booted into factory binary, went in settings, turned on dev mode and tried flashing the four rom file
J727VVRS3BSD1 and she booted right into oreo.

This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a google account that was previously synced on thos device.

Hello everyone,
I got a phone Galaxy A 20 and called Boost mobile to sim unlock the phone, what they did.
When done I factory reseted the phone. Now when I try to add an account I got a "your phone was factory reset., type the password to unlock it. If I bypass the request I get "This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a google account that was previously synced on those device."
I don't have those information, is there something I can to to really reset the phone and not get this message?
Thanks
This means that your phone has google lock, also known as FRP (someone forgot to log out from google account). It is possible to bypass it (i successfully did it on Lenovo Tab M10, Lenovo Tab 3 7 and Nokia 5.1 Plus), but sometimes it can be difficult. According to this video, you can enter settings by crashing the setup wizard app. I think installing Apex Launcher is unnecessary, you can search for the Pin Windows feature. I didn't tested it, but I think this should work.
