I want to install CM9 ICS 4.0.4 ROM on my HTC HD Mini. But, if I don't like the new rom after installation, is possible to restore the official rom with WM6.5?
My is RUU_Photon_HTC_ITA_1.36.408.1_Radio_Signed_32.2803.05.06_0.63.05.36_Ship.

Mi permetto di spiegare per sommi punti la procedura da seguire per installare nel proprio asus z380lk (zenpad 8 o p024), la rom di cyanogenmod 13.0
Attenzione, con la cm13 non funzionerà più il doppio tap per accendere e spegnere il tablet , ne lo spegnimento e accensione dello schermo con l'ausilio della cover
ATTENZIONISSIMA:
A me è filato tutto liscio, ma mi sollevo da ogni responsabilità sui vostri devices se decidete di seguire la guida
1) effettuare il root del tablet
Scaricare kingroot ed eseguirlo con il device acceso, collegato al pc (ed i relativi driver installati)
NB Può essere necessario ripetere l'operazione più volte per vederla andare a buon fine
NB2 A me è capitato che dopo l'operazione il telefono si spegnesse e non si accendesse più, qualche minuto dopo siamo rinvenuti entrambi senza dover smontare nulla
2) installare la recovery
Scaricare da https://vasy.ru/TWRP/P024/ la recovery
il link non è mio spero non lo disattivino, nel caso il nome del file è
twrp-3.0.2-0-20160407-P024.img 07-Apr-2016 18:36 13M
Dal play store scaricare l'app Flashify (for root user)
avviarla e utilizzare il comando che permette di cercare la recovery dal proprio archivio
Selezionata la recovery (che io personalmente ho rinominato in recovery.img ma non so se per quell'app influisca) premere il tasto per flasharla , potete già riavviare dalla stessa app ed accedere a twrp
Fatevi un backup completo che non si sa mai e riavviate
3) Scaricate la cm13 da http://4pda.ru/pages/go/?u=http:%2...zip&e=48313529
(io l'ho lasciata sulla memoria interna ed è andato bene comunque, ma se formattate anche i dati ovviamente essa sparisce insieme a loro)
4) Gapps
http://opengapps.org/?download=true&arch=arm&api=6.0&variant=pico
Io ho preferito la versione pico perchè è più leggera e si limita alle funzioni essenziali
5) Ci sono app tipo "reboot recovery" o simili che permettono il riavvio in recovery senza combinazione di tasti, ma giusto per saperlo... il modo per entrarci è volume su e power (appena vibra potete o dovete togliere il dito dal power e tenere solo volume su) ci saranno tre voci, selezionate ill ripristino di fabbrica (la voce 2) e attendete a breve entrerà sulla twrp.
6)Effettuate il wipe standard (pulizia) e non quello avanzato, esso provvederà a fare i wipe necessari per l'instalazione
7)tornate indietro e andate su installa, selezionate la rom scaricata precedentemente e scorrete il dito per avviare l'installazione
8)Ad installazione terminata tornate indietro ed installate le gapps
9) Effettuate nuovamente la pulizia standard
10) riavviate e godetevi un telefono estremamente più veloce
Spero di essere stato d'aiuto... io non avevo trovato nessuna guida a tal proposito ed ho deciso di rischiare comunque, vista la lentezza del dispositivo con la rom originale, e mi è parso corretto divulgarla su xda dal momento che da questo sito , di guide, ne ho seguite davvero tante che ora toccava a me scriverne una.

Vorrei chiarire un dubbio. Ok installo la rom con la procedura descritta, ma relativamente all'imei ? Mi spiego l'installazione di un firmware di solito fa perdere i dati dell'imei. Quà come funziona?
Ah, non sapevo che questa fosse una sezione italiana (così ho capito). Cmq con questa cm13 lo zenpad è RINATO. Sembra un altro tablet. La ROM originale ASUS era troppo pesante.

Ciao, di solito l'imei lo si perde quando si formatta approfonditamente, o quando la rom la si flasha con qualche programma, ciò non toglie che il tuo dubbio sia lecito. Quel che posso dirti è solo che a me non si è azzerato

Mi spiace, ma non ne ho idea. Oltretutto non so se con il nandroid backup ti ripristineresti anche l'imei...

Ma una cosa che non digerisco con Asus è la gestione dell'app telefono. Se il tablet è impostato con display in orizzontale perchè durante la telefonata l'app si mette in verticale?

Nonostante le dimensioni del device, asus ha considerato che tu durante una chiamata lonporti all'orecchio, e non ha previsto il più plausibile utilizzo di un auricolare.
Hai notato comunque il miglioramento a livello di prestazioni? Da da riflettere sull'impegno impiegato nello sviluppare il software nativo...

In effetti un miglioramento c'è . In particolare a livello di fluidità.
Ritornando al discorso della modalità orizzontale, potrei citare app come Maps che si adattano comunque e non danno problemi. Su Asus Calling Screen invece (che è l'app predefinita) il fatto che la modalita' orizzontale non vada durante la conversazione è sinceramente poco piacevole. Fa rabbia anche che la cm13 da questo punto di vista non abbia risolto.

I found tips for root and install TWRP recovery mod, but I can't find any information about the custom rom for this tablet. Maybe because is not supported by developers, but I want know if there are other information about this. I see that there is a rom cyanogenmod for zenpad-8-z380kl and I want know if is possible install it on Z8580CA without problems. Thank you very much
