applied, and no issues with overlays

Appears to be a bug fix for the dialer app. No bump in Android version.

It would be helpful if you would put the update software version quoted above in the title of the OP so we don't have several threads in the same section titled "new update." We need to know what update you are talking about.

@mmw68666 Is this a nougat or oreo update?

T-Mobile User Claims He Received the Official Marshmallow Update Already?

I was reading this article, and according to the user, he has received the official T-Mobile Marshmallow after flashing back to stock using Odin, and going to "software update" on his device. Anyone else experience this or try this?! Here is the link:
http://www.tmonews.com/2015/11/one-...er-appears-to-have-gotten-android-6-0-update/
Well we can all flash it now thanks to him.

Not exactly, it's still t-mobile only due to the kernel.
You guys will need a MM kernel which currently doesn't exist.

BTU works for me, right now with October security update and Nougat 7.0 beta inminent (probably). It also have Android Pay installed once you flash the ROM.

Another way is the Frija Tool at https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s9/how-to/tool-frija-samsung-firmware-downloader-t3910584.
Try updato.com
IDK if SIC works. I updated from SI4

Yes. You can. I flashed from Verizon firmware to U1 and then on Samsung members I got the invite for the beta so i joined. I never received an OTA update until I flashed back to the BSIC version. Since then, I've received all OTA updates to the beta
