Flash stock rom.
Start your phone and follow the setup (language=>wifi=>google account=>.......).
Now in your phone go to setting and find factory reset.
Reset your phone and reboot.
The problem should be fixed.
Don't use TWRP for factory reset, it wont work.

Really
That simple
When you say stock rom
What would be the best to install the marshmallow or nougat rom and which version ,the one on this forum ?
Thanks

Yes, it's simple and it worked for some of us. You can try to flash this rom BLU_V0090EE_V11 from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/vivo-5r/how-to/blu-vivo-5r-stock-roms-bluv0090eev11-t3492756
Then do factory reset and see if everything is OK. If not, flash the other rom V25. If yes, now you can update your phone via update option in setting or use Sp flash tool. After update, if you want to flash twrp and you going to stay on marshmallow it's better to use old twrp from here:https://forum.xda-developers.com/vivo-5r/how-to/twrp-recovery-blu-vivo-5r-t3492739
If you will update to nougat, use twrp for nougats from here:https://forum.xda-developers.com/vivo-5r/how-to/twrp-recovery-nougat-7-0-t3701235

Followed those steps, did the factory reset from phone settings and it still says invalid Imei

Is there anything else that would work?

Did you try it with other roms.

But then I accepted an ota for nouagat update and imeis disappeared again
Any way to restore the imei on nougat as it only works on marshmallow

to use MauiMETA_v9.1635.23 to repair Imei, search tutorials on youtube,

So.. I flashed to Nougat with the stock rom and lost the imei (but 4g and sms still work, dont know why).
Tried installing Marshallow again, doin Factory Format, with Chameleophon, mtk engineer mode and nothing, i still cant get imei.
On other news when i flashed marshmallow my cellphone stoped reading my sim card, later on installed Nougat and still without sim card...

camera doesnt work after update from mm to Nougat

Hi,
I have a p9 lite l21 and updated to android 7 and emui 5 fromThis
after update my camera dosent work so u thought install camera app but it also dose'nt work!!!!!
so downgrade to mm and tested,it's ok ,then update to n but no improvment.
what can i do to fix this?
It's a known issue. Several people, including myself have faced this one, together with the "app incompatible" bug when updating apps.
Supposed to be fixed in Revolution Nougat RC3, however that is not yet out for the general public.
For now, these two issues are keeping me on stock MM.
My camera didn't work too. Try to reflash Nougat again and if that doesn't work go back to MM, then again on Nougat and it will work.

Stock Firmware for L29C567? Phone soft bricked!

I was installing TWRP and superuser and something failed. Now the phone soft resets and bounces between TWRP and Huawei eRecovery. Does anyone have a L29C567 firmware I can flash? I've done some searching and there doesn't seem to be any sources for the firmware yet. Just trying to get the phone working again.
I think I could use FunkyHuawei if they had the firmware but I don't believe they do yet.
Edit: Looks like I put this in the wrong sub forum, sorry
Please be patient. Soon enough it will be available.

When that happened to me I flashed the update_full_hw_spcseas.zip folder through dload (vol up + down + power) to get the phone booting again.
Try this guide,it will change ur region to Asia C636 but the phone will work 100%
You can rebrand later when official USA version is available.

I lost all the google apps and the keyboard when I tried to updated from B110 to B136 using step 7 "flash hw_data" but got it all back when with dloading back to B110.
I'm trying the updater now and it seems to be updating to B158! will update.
Update worked and I'm now on B158 which is awesome! The only thing that's odd now is that my MEID is 000000000000. I'm not sure if that's a big deal.

Step 5 to 9 is to restore the Missing application and data i recommend do this steps again.
If you have boot loop boot to stock recovery and do factory reset.

Yes. I did the following:
* Unlock bootloader
* install twrp
1- restore oeminfo for C636 http://www.mediafire.com/?szws87sk7rrkqr6
2- download c636 offline firmware, and flash it from an sd card using 3 buttons method by dload folder. https://forum.xda-developers.com/mat...4/post70465883
3- factory reset from settings.
4-use system update to get the latest firmware.
Basically gm007's but skipping a few steps
The end result was a seemingly complete L29C636B158.

Could be cause u skiped step 5 there is a mismatch in system files.
The update you got via system update is a small update or full firmware?

Copy system app named " FindDevice.apk " to InternalStorage or something where (I mean backup it first). Then, delete the original from twrp.
Someone told me like this. If the others have another way, write that here. It would be helpful for them.

7.12.7_7.1, after that, my movile bootloop every 30 secons more or less
Now, when i turn the mobile on, it tells me that the SIM is blocked, but I tried the SIM in another mobile and it works
A/B partition are there so if device is stuck in bootloop it should boot from dormant partition.
You have to flash stock firmware.
Try flashing the persist.img from every build that exists till now. If you manage to flash one of them the issue will be fixed. I've tested it myself.

Please just follow the guide here to get it fixed: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/how-to/ota-official-fastboot-image-n2g47h-7-12-t3728929
As it includes all necessary scripts for proper flashing it is secure to use
In worst case, you can also use the appropriate included script to factory reset at the same time when flashing. If nothing else helps, that should do the trick for you

I tried flashing persist.img, and it works!!!
Now I have 2 differents problems.
When I start my mobile, the SIM Pin page shows the message SIM CARD IS LOCKED - NO SERVICE. My sim works in another mobile
When I pu my pin, I get the message "preparing sdcard - Solving errors"
Please just do a full clean flash as recommended by me earlier and your issue should be gone. At least if they are firmware or software related.
After that do a clean flash and that issue should be fixed.

WiFi does not connect

After installing RR, restore the original firmware of Xiaomi Mi A1, the problem is that no longer stable wifi connection, find networks but do not connect, try everything and there is no way to connect to a Wi-Fi network.

Please share the procedure, how to flash persist.img
Well, just find persist.img in the stock file like C:\Users\memo\Desktop\tissot_images_V9.5.9.0.ODHMIFA_8.0\images
then turn off your phone and enter into fastboot mode (down volume + power)
connect the phone to pc
the search for cmd
write : fastboot devices and if it shows number it means that is connect
then write: fastboot oem unlock (to unlock bootloader)
fastboot flash persist and grab the file and push it to the cmd
it should be end like this: C:\Users\memo>fastboot flash persist C:\Users\memo\Desktop\tissot_images_V9.5.9.0.ODHMIFA_8.0\images\persist.img
sorry if i haven't explain myself, i'm not a native english speaker.
GOOD LUCK

I tried with MetaPhoenix Kernel, and its working fine for me, one thing of this is best in the market, almost everytime 1.6Gb ram free, and stability and features are great. Thanks mate for the guide.
I do not speak English, but thanks to this page I was able to solve the problem. It's a persist.img that worked for me: D
