Can you add some features to kernel?

Does not work. I have firmware J330FXXU3ARC5. When installing this kernel, Bluetooth stops working. And when you try to boot into TWRP, then there is an eternal reboot. Or this kernel can not be put on the stock firmware?

This doesnt work on Oreo. You need to download the combination rom and downgrade to nougat then install stock nougat rom. Then install twrp, no verity opt encrypt, rmm state bypass mesa, ayshx boot image patch and magisk. Then boot successfully into stock rom with stock kernel, complete the setup, boot into recovery and install mutant kernel.

New method to root the S5 mini (g800h) on lollipop

As most of the users dont like the russian method of rooting on 5.1.1 due to the unknown kernel source and others dont trust it i dont know why :v
Dj_steve made his own kernel that works with Su just like the russian one
Kernel link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5-mini/orig-development/kernel-custom-tweaked-kernel-5-1-1-tw-t3266618
Recovery link:http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5-mini/orig-development/recovery-qualcomm-twrp-2-8-7-0-t3245256
And finally Su link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwuSX5zRNLjtTVhzd3J2YXgwaTQ/view?usp=docslist_api
Installation :
Flash the recovery with odin
Flash the kernel with the recovery
Flash the Su.zip with the custom recovery
All done
Now you're rooted
Thanx for Dj_steve for making the kernel
thanx for jackeagle for making the recovery
Thanx for chanfaire for making Su
and finally thanx to blue cat from 4pda for his kernel that explained that we have to disable some sammy security stuff in order to obtain root access
Have a nice day

Dj_steve made a kernel that works with su like the Russian one
you can use it as fast as its ready
It's not working
Ok i think i know the problem
I've completely forgot that ive removed knox from my rom so i think its the key
so i want you guys to test this:
Install the alpha twrp from rvr because jackeagle recovery wont loads aroma
Use the cleaner in my "smooth your tw " thread to remove knox without the need of rooting
Now restart your device and try to root it with kingroot
Please test and report so i can update the post if it works

The thing is that i wanted kingroot to replace Su by overwriting su root and takeing it place because samsung dont have kernel protection against it
try to wipe data with twrp>>>root with su>>>>root with kingroot>>>uninstall su apk from system
this should work 100% as it a complete clean

Root problems remains
Having a bit of a problem with rooting G800H/DS. I have used either the Russian or Indian 5.1.1, and rooted with the Russian or DJ_steve's kernel + recovery + SU. Removed Knox with Titanium Backup. Everything works fine for a day or two, but then suddenly when rebooting the phone gets stuck in a reboot cycle. Anybody else having the same problem, or hopefully a solution?

There is a good chance that autoroot for 5.1.1 will works for 6.0.1
It happens with autoroot for 910H.
Or, you can just flash twrp using odin, flash bootloader using odin, and this rom using twrp.

Twrp not compatible with android 12. I think you wait android 12 offical release or try get patch boot.img version UJ5 android 11 with boot.img.p in update.zip beta 1 via this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...a-fastboot-boot-img-for-leak-install.1702233/
For sure you can. Writing this from rooted S20U on OneUI 4.
Just flash latest magisk canary with OrangeFox (a TWRP fork) which support OneUI 4.
Edit: My bad, you own a exynos S20.
So you can use imagepatchtools to patch your OneUI 3 boot image to OneUI 4. Then use latest magisk canary app to root OneUI 4 boot image then tar it and flash it with odin.

The imagepatchtools github is pretty well explained but I admit it's a bit complicated.
Or else would you try this modified twrp: twrp_G98X_geiti_modded_A12.tar ?
I applied the same fix as for snapdragon S20. It should avoid bootloop but you probably won't be able to mount system and vendor from twrp ui. Anyway you will be able to flash magisk which is the simpliest way to root.

No problem!
If you try this modded twrp can you give me a feedback here?
For the next beta you will have to flash back stock firmware then beta updates one after the other or patching all images using above imagepatchtools. But for stable release you will be able to download full firmware and flash it with odin.
