Hello, my phone is Huawei Honor 8 Lite Model: PRA-LX1
I am getting this firmware: PRA-LX1C432B110 from Firmware Finder
Flashing it -> booting into its recovery -> Factory reset and wipe cache.. and it does not work.
Tried the method with FirmwareFinder's Proxy and the eRecovery gives me "Getting package info failed".
I tried many other firmwares similiar to this one like PRA-L11C432B169 tried the above steps again and same thing.
Now my fastboot doesn't give me to flash, and phone is unlocked FRP too.
Would donate for the person that helps me.

After many many try's finally I have successful restore my imei.....
Flash manual version B046a then update via OTA, only after first update imei back again....

i have the same problem
I had chinesee android 6.0
- changed region to hw/eu
- flashed to b052 - imei - gone
- flash to b136 - lack of imei
- flash to b170 - lack of imei
- tried to update to full b170 - update failed by local update and force update
- tried to flash to b046 - lack of imei
- tried to local and force update to full b046 - still nothing
help please
you need to flash B52 , then move to B170 via "OTA" update

In my case, the ota to B170 update will return bootloop issue.

After lot of tries i finally fixed the phone and baseband returned.
The process that worked for me was installing B170 via fastboot, than full wipe.
Its strange the same thing didn't work before, so I was keep trying and finished with success

Could you maybe post a link where you found the B170 ROM, or dig you extract the files(system.img;boot.img;recovery.img;...) from the B170 update.app file, because nothing is working for me. :crying::crying:
And I have no idea what to do now.

It was a long time ago, but because I thanked the post just before the on you quoted I believe the guide linked in there worked for me.
I really hope that you will be able to fix your IMEI.
I'm also one of the fools that got his phone stuck in the boot... it boots up till the Huawei logo and after that nothing. I've tried several solutions but still no luck.
I've3 got the Nougast recovery from Bulywolf (or something) and i've tried flashing different roms but no luck so far. I also made the mistake to change the data partition from f2 to ext4... I guess that caused all the problems but how do i solve it?
It is actually doing my head in...
I managed to install the first file from the rollback tutorial... It said it was succesfull but now I'm still stuck seeing the Huawei logo... So I guess it didn't work
Edit: Managed to get in! But it says my version is NRD90M test-keys....

Are you sure you have right phone version VNS-L23?
You wanted to update to B329 which is Android 7.0 right? If so, put the right package to downgrade to MM and then try three-buttons way.
yeah my device is the VNS-L23C605B120 and i can´t find any update.app that could work, the device stay in logo mode when I tried to downgrade it or reflash it..

I can't downgrade to 6.0 It says that my package it;s not compatible with my phone... I'm from Romania, but I have a VNS-L31C432B336 that it's registered in UK..

Do you have access to TWRP or Revolutionary recovery? If so, you can check on google for "Huawei P9 Lite oeminfo", downloadit, flash zip via recovery(TWRP or Revolutionary), then try to force update you phone by holding all 3 buttons when phone is booting up, make sure that you have update.app in dload folder on sdcard.
DON'T FORGET TO SAVE YOUR BOOTLOADER UNLOCK CODE!!!

I was in Nougart on test keys, so i downloaded the first file, installed it and it restarted my phone. I set everything back up and checked I was still on test keys.
Do I have to flash the larger second file as well?

well, here is some you can try, find a downgrade update.app, later re flash it with the according restore update.app, it will end to 97% but it`ll work enough to start the cellphone and install the custom twrp recovery and make an good install.

Hi I'm on your same version NRD90M and I also know that now you solved the problem but, the way you solved it doesn't work for me, I installed the first file but the second one failed... Can you please help Me?

press vol down and power button for some time. It will work. I have the same model and inhave managed to get out of several bricks by using this method

Firstly dload a rollback package for your phone,
Then dload B130 update from which you can easily bypass FRP lock when factory reseting in ERecovery.
Read around the forums FOR THIS DEVICE and google for the terms you don't know what they mean.

Hello. I want to ask, if there is anyone, that has or knows where to get official UPDATE.app for Huawei P9 Lite VNS-L21, so I can completely reinstall my phone to stock.
I would prefer something around B390 or B380 ROM, because I have issue with early ones, that updates android to Test-Keys....

I used this site to download the rom and used this extractor. It worked for me with no problems.
Hi there, you can try an app from playstore called frimware finder .. you can get any update you want from there. And it doesnt require root. I use that to get the newest updates.. It works for any huawei devices.

I am from EU, and factory reset doesn't help, the phone enters in a "update" kind of state where it tries to connect to wifi and download something, but the download fails because "packets failed to download" or smth similar

You just need to find the stock rom for your device and force update it by copying it on your phone as 'dload' folder and pressing pwr button and volume up and down buttons all at the same time
i tried to root my phone using twrp recovery and 'UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip' but after that i got a bootloop,
i tried to do a factory reset but it didn't work, so i tried to flash the official firmware using dload method. but one i tried is incompatible, i tried flashing

Are you 100% sure that the android version was NOUGAT when you tried to root the device?
In which region of the world do you live? (serves for the regional version of the firmware),
but I think you could also use other versions (by rebranding) ...

Can you access the system?
Boots in TWRP?
Does fastboot / bootloader mode work?
