Gps daemon a.k.a (GPSD) stuck after phone call - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Evening everyone
After tons of investigations about GPSD wakelock i finally found the following in my case:
1.No matter what rom i use or what sim i get or what network i am on the cursed GPSD always eats my battery out as shown in Gsam battery monitor and BBS.
2.Disabled most of the apps and Gapps with no result
3.I installed a clean rom and downloaded os monitor to get live feed from the logcat and opened my applications one by one and watching logcat with no trace of any gps message 4.but when i made a phone call the logcat went crazy showing this message every 2 sec

And the GPSD hell is started
Now I'm helpless with no solution
Could any one help?

Search index service, there are already 6 threads about this issue.
I too had the same issue. I think Indexservice indexes all your documents' contents. That's why it it taking more cpu and battery.
Once the indexing is completed, everything works like a charm as before
It takes some more time if you have a number of pdf files.
Hope it solves your problem. Cheers!!
Media is 39% try to removr the memory card and try tge battery. ... if it gos fine thin rake copy of your memory content and format the memory card from the mobile itself ...and I believe that will solve this issue

Hi,
Same problem here and can't find any information too. Same high count on the same process.
I think it appeared since I updated Google search to the lastest version 3.4.
I'm running stock android 4.4.2 with semaphore kernel last version.
in relation to the sensors, live wallpapers and lock screen widget, facebook, i cant find a certain trigger

Hi and thanks for your answer.
I don't have live wallpaper or Facebook app so I tried to turn off the screen auto rotate and the high count and wakelock on this process stopped.
Hi,
OK, since I turned off auto rotate, the process count has been significantly reduced but wakelock is still here with 1h38min for statistics since 4h44.
I tried to delete widget on lockscreen too.
Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks.
It's something in your ROM, or an app that's waking your device. It's not kernel related for sure.

A factory reset should do the trick! If you don't want to go through that hassle maybe there's some new app you've installed that could be affecting this.
You may want to try Wakelock Detector. Note, however, that the paid version is needed for detailed information about particular apps.

[Q]Help me with wakelock...

I have an n910c, currently in stock lollipop bob4 firmware but with ultimate kernel v19 custom kernel and i'm having problem with tons of wakelock..
Installed betterbatterystats and noticed that there are standard amount of partial wakelock from social media apps and sometimes google play services ( i'm in china so google play is blocked and sometimes it tries to sync and causing wakelock) which is understandable and taken care of by greenify..
But there are tons of kernel wakelock according to betterbatterystats.. as you can see from the attachment below.. it is still persist even after i changed into custom kernel. Can somebody explain what is causing these kernel wakelocks? Thanks
Note: overall battery life is okay really with 4,5 - 5 hours of sot with poor lte signal most of the time and using vpn software which is as i discovered, uses lots of battery.. but i'm feeling that standby time is rather poor with tons of wakelocks.. and hoping with these wakelocks removed i can get 6-7 sot..

TicWatch Pro 4G Firmware Problem

Hello everyone, I bought a bricked TicWatch Pro 4G couple of days ago in the hope of fixing it.
I didn't know the exact model but it seemed to be of the Chinese variant and the bootloader was unlocked by the previous owner, I did manage to install a US Stock ROM and it did work, the watch work normally now except that the heartrate sensor is not working neither on tic pulse app nor on third party apps and the other thing is the battery indicator which always show 50% no matter how many hours I charge the watch or how many hours I used it.

}
This is a screen shot from the Wear OS app that showing a constant 50% over night and it's also showing the same in the watch as well
The watch continue to work until the battery dead and the watch shut down without a warning because it's always showing 50%.
Any suggestions and does anyone else encountered such a problem, the watch model is WF11026 and it's currently running version 2.33 of Wear OS with November 2020 patch.
Any help will be appreciated
