Ok.
But what I find is this:
Here are the Huawei Devices which*won’t*receive Android Oreo 8.0 update
Huawei Honor 8 (Controversial, May get)
Huawei Honor 5A
Huawei Honor 5c
Huawei Y3II
Huawei Y5II
Huawei Mate 8 (Controversial, May get)
Huawei Y6
Huawei Honor 7
Huawei Y3( L02/03/L22/L23 U00)
Huawei Y7
Huawei Y6
Huawei Y5
So unfortunately Honor 7 won't get it. Officially at least..

Problem with emui 5.0 Beta Huawei Mate 8/Bluetooth

Hi guys, I have a problem with the EMUI 5 Beta 8 release, I recently installed it and it does not work so bad, few bugs are the ones with the beta version, I could overlook those that I found. But not the one that fails the bluetooth, when activating it remains active, not being able to the few seconds returns to off.
Anyone know how to solve this problem when activating the bluetooth?, I would be grateful.
(sorry for my English)

in my opinion emui 5 and android 7 is just fine. sure there would be nice to have equalizer, but 3rd party apps do that for me(poweramp). theme is pretty much fine but dark mode would be nice (could be added to developer options via OTA?). havent realized any bugs or battery draining on my L21. powersaving mode actually works (turns 10% slower atleast on antutu).
also this is what i found:

I think p9 lite will get android O (since it is a new device and shipped with nougat).
However, only time can tell us
Anyone up for porting it across to 5c?

you cannot port emui, its complicated and its not open sources to build either..
and in case of emui6, os will be based on android o , and for porting android o, so to port an android o rom, first you need a stable android o base (any other stable android o rom built for your device)
so, if emui6 not coming officially, just forget about it and do not expect, so you cannot be disappointed, because unofficial ways are nearly impossible
I think the hardware is the same so it should be possible to just change one or two things and flash it.

It's about the software here, as EMUI isn't open source like MIUI

Installed FUT, says huawei mobile services is disabled. un/reinstall that, still says it is disabled??
Nice to see Huawei isn't forgetting the previous generation of phones!
The only reason I'm waiting for Pie is to get the 9.0 Treble vendor haha
they still suck imho coz the more premium variant (mate 9 pro) is always their least priority.
gsi emui 9 is possible?

I am from Vietnam. It should work but I see no project
When I launch the beta app (USA version), when I click on the license agreement, it says it has to download something, downloads it, then pops up that the mobile service has been disabled. I can't find any mobile service that is disabled. Oh well, as a USA user, it's probably blocked by my government anyway LOL.

You have seen the early tests for EMUI 9.0 before, it’s based on Android 9.0 Pie, and according to Huawei Mobile, EMUI is expected to land in March 2019.
Huawei has confirmed the availability of EMUI 9.0 for its Huawei P10 and Mate 9 smartphone series. This means that users will still have to wait a couple of months before the update arrives, or possibly early.
If you own one of these devices, EMUI 9.0 will be with you in March or early! Stay tuned.
Huawei P10
Huawei P10 Plus
Huawei Mate 9
Huawei Mate 9 Pro
Note: The schedule for the update releases may be adjusted.:good:;
