Universal VoLTE hack/patch for (MTK) Marshmallow devices? - Hardware Hacking General

Hi there!
I have a Zopo Speed 8 phone and it has occasionally started to act like this:
I try to call someone and the phone tries to change 4G/LTE network to 3G network. Suddenly the network will be dropped during the transition and the phone call stops. It doesn't happen each'n'every time but nevertheless it's annoying.
I asked the manufacturer whether their phone would support VoLTE. They told me they're sorry but the phone doesn't support VoLTE.
I've seen the patches which can be flashed to Xiaomi etc. devices to enable VoLTE. Therefore I'd like to ask whether there'd be any universal patch for Mediatek Marshmallow devices which would enable VoLTE? Thus my phone calls wouldn't be interrupted because the phone lost its network during the transition from 4G to 3G.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Is there a way to enable voLTE through hidden menu?

I have SM-N910U model of the note 4 and would like to know how I can enable voLTE. I know my phone supports it, but I can't find it anywhere in the settings nor is it active. My carrier has voLTE, but the phone data drops to 2g when I make calls. I would like to know a way to enable voLTE, so the data stays at 4g while on the call.
Or is there a way to add volte to international roms seems like it is only for carrier branded phones
I have the same problem with Galaxy Alpha on the Metro/ Tmobile Network.
LTE drops to 3 G on calls and often kills Data
during and even a minute or so after the call.
Not good for multitasking- this is a Factory Unlocked Alpha NOT a native Tmo / Metro phone .
The 4G LTE Tmo/ Metro Phones always have simultaneous voice and data so you can be on Web while on a call.
I think some have VoLTE and some have dual band simultaneously in the firmware specifically for Tmo.

Yes you are correct. VoLTE service can be enabled only with layer 1 modified kernel/drivers. The hardware itself definitely supports it, but firmware doesn't. Main reason the Samsung decided to disable this feature is because not all carriers in the world use voLTE service and enabling the service on the user end may trigger unstable and disconnection during call. I have contacted Samsung by Twitter and have yet to receive a response if they are going to enable this feature or not. Will let you know if I hear anything back from them!
Thanks. I wonder if some Dev here can do it for $ 100 .
Really like the size, speed and great Audio quality of Alpha and was going to get the larger Battery but I often can not get back on Internet for a few minutes after a call-
while the Phone says 3G (?) then it goes back to LTE and back to Internet...frustrating .
Am used to Metro PCS VoLTE since 2012 and had not considered this problem with a Factory Unlocked non Carrier Device.
No one reminded me there would be no VoLTE and sometimes no voice and Data simultaneously...
So DEVs figure it out for me and I will have a Tech here do the Install/ Download.
Alternative will be a too big branded S6 either Tmo or Metro which will have a better Camera, even slightly better than Note 4 but I love the small form factor of Alpha- this is Alpha 850 M.
Don't think Samsung will help although there is rumored to be VoLTE with Lollipop so there's a possibility.
Will Lollipop VoLTE perform like a Branded Metro PCS with LTE remaining on Display during calls and simultaneous Internet ?
Anyone have a Beta Lollipop for Alpha that achieves this ?
Thanks.

Calls drops on 4G LTE NETWORK

I'm having problems with my 4g network, every time I make a phone call or receive a phonecall the network drops and a message opens saying that there is no network available then it reconnects. If i choose 3g network instead of 4g nothing happens, everthing works fine. I did a factory reset, flashed stock oxygen OS and nothing changes, please i would really appreciate some help
That's because of VoLTE(voice over LTE, if you don't know search on Google) feature is not currently supported by oneplus 2, oneplus promised to give this VoLTE enabling feature update in next quarter so wait for that

But after a reset am unable to get HD(VoLTE) notification nd am not able to call over LTE even after turning on the VoLTE option from settings.. plz help...
Xiaomi seems to be ignoring most & answer hardly any of customer queries?
@krazzydeb have you got any solution from xiaomi to this mate? Even on the forum many people are reporting the same issue with no fix or response from xiaomi.
Setting network mode to prefered lte only
And dial*#*#4636#*#* click on phone info 1
Then select network mode to lte only
Hopee ur problem solve...
Most of the people are saying this as a solution, but when the phone reboot it will go back to default settings.

VOLTE/WiFi Calling

US regular unlocked model using Metro PCS Sim. E911 address is properly set up. I just fastbooted the stock may security update hoping it would fix the issue to no avail. Across all roms including stock I cant seem to get WIfi Calling to work or VOLTE. When making a call without WiFi on I can see the LTE drop to H, It does not stay connected to LTE. WiFi calling never shows as a wifi call in the dialer like its supposed to. Its causing me to miss calls and sometimes not be able to make outgoing calls. What in the world is the issue? Its definitely supported with both Metro PCS and the phone. I thought going back to stock properly would help but it hasn't.

Incoming/ Outgoing call problem while on 4G network with no volte support.

I have recently bought the MI A1. While buying itself it was updated to the latest may patch.
The problem is while on 4g network, I cannot receive nor make any phone calls. For calling I have to manually switch to 3g/2g mode from *#*#4636#*#* menu. Is this a normal behavior of this phone as my other phone swiches to 3g while incoming/ outgoing calls and back switches to 4g after the call is finished.
PS: my network doesn't support volte. Phone is manufactured on Feb 2018, it's not modified by any means.
That's not normal behavior.
I've never seen a phone where You have to switch between 3G/4G/LTE for calls and data.
Can You try a SIM-card from another service provider to see if it behaves differently?
If You check at https://willmyphonework.net/ are all bands supported with Your provider?
Or, in worst case of course, try a factory reset and see if that makes any difference...
Set to 3g/4g in *#*#4636#*#* menu.
Airtel doesn't support volte in all circles yet. Only rolled in few circles. In 3g/4g mode, it'll be mostly in 4g mode if nw strength is good & switch to 3g when you call or receive a call
