I need your help
I need to change my phone mac address
but the problem when i try to enter new mac to this file /efs/wifi/.mac.info
and then restart my phone >>> the mac inside the file reverts to original
i want to know why???
while i was successful doing this in my Grand prime 530h !
can anyone tell me a workaround to change mac in s5?? :crying:

Looking for custom firmware for SM-G900X live demo unit fo finish demo video which starts atutomatically and sucks battery, I search following thread to create custom firmware but cygwin didnot help me anymore on windwos xp sp3, someone give download link in the following thread but link donot allow to download for free user,

You didn't explain how your request for help is urgent or deserves priority over someone else's thread? You've been a member here for three years so you should know that most members do not preface their posts with urgent labels and expect preferential treatment.
I'd rather help people that don't label their posts Urgent! and assume that they should get priority attention.

Hey.
I recently hard bricked my m3 note trying to install a chinese version of flyme by accident. when i try to flash preloader through sp flash tool, i get a pop up saying: ERROR : STATUS_BROM_CMD_FAIL
I have looked online, cant find anything. Any help?

I have looked in all of those threads, but thanks a lot for posting, since double check is never bad
I actually found that with an mrt dongle i could do something, and now im trying to work it out

Every time I recompile Lineage OS ROM 14.1, I always experience Random Restart when mobile data is active, and wifi is connected.
I have tried several times to fix, but it always fails and still has Random Restart.
This is the source code for young23g

I did receive your message and the best that I can help you with is to guide you to a thread where you can obtain better guidance from one of the other pros regarding this area of development.
I've only got a working knowledge on ROM development and have not yet, personally, actually built one. Someday I might try it but, I've got different developments on my plate right now.

Thank you for the advice.
Finally I can find the solution of this problem thanks to your suggestion.
Several Months ago I also had time to compile Lineage OS 13.0 ROM, and managed without any bugs at all.
But fitting I compile ROM Lineage OS 14.1 I get Random Restart bug when mobile data is enabled and wifi is connected. It's been several times that I recompiled the ROM and also I updated the source, but still there is a Random Restart bug.

Not a problem at all.
When a member asks a question regarding a device and, there's a dedicated area on the forum for that specific device, i try to direct members to those areas, primarily, because those areas, typically, have other members with the same device and are more likely to locate an answer from a thread or another member.
The only caveat to this is that, sometimes, there's threads on other areas too. Kind of like the oddball ones .
