I was wondering if there is any way i can replace my lockscreen?
i am not interested in downloading apps from market to use as replacement since i already tried it and i think it sucks since it places itself over the normal lockscreen.
Shouldn't it be possible to get a new lockscreen onto my legend using the ordinary "flashing-method" ? (installing a .zip-file i mean)
The lockscreen i want is the froyo or similar.

Ive recently flashed into a new rom which i like very much but it does not come with the pre-installed htc youtube player . Since then id been searching through the xda forum + google hard for a playable cab file but i cant get what i needed.Any xda forum member mind to your share exprience and idea? Please pardon me for my poor language expression ,thank you .

Thread moved to general as not rom develoment.
Just go to m.youtube.com with your mobile browser and it will install automatically the youtube app in your phone
I think you dont know the difference between the crap m.youtube installed Youtube and the one that comes in stock roms.
OP: Change the ROM. If you cant then ask someone in Rom development thread to help you out. There are some stock roms that do not come with youtube app. i have experienced it but i changed my ROM to another which fixed the problem. So if you really like the ROM then maybe, maybe, someone will be able to provide you with that youtube app or maybe cook that ROM with youtube app in it. Personally i will suggest you to change the ROM.

How to install:
You have to be on ANY ICS ROM for this to "work".
Download files.
Download latest Gapps for ICS.
Make a backup.
Make all wipes.
Mounts/Storage Format system.
Install ROM.
Flash Gapps.
Reboot.
If something went wrong restore.
Dont complain if it doesnt work...Use it or leave it like this, no one made you use it...

All my work is being done on an internet cafe. I pay 2 euros per hour just to answer the comments you make and then if i have time manage my downloads and upload more. I also have to to move many files with a usb that i bought just for this. Believe me the computers there are really slow. Its not going to be like this forever. Please be patient. A moderator please temporary close this thread and open when i have a download link available.
please do not post rom threads without download link. It is considered placeholders and they are not permitted in XDA dev section. Thread closed, please OP contact me when you have a download link to a working rom (at least booting rom). Best regards,
My sm-j500fn galaxy j5 can wirelessly mirror to my samsung smart tv on custom roms but it cannot with the stock rom. Can someone please help me find a way to enable this feature in the stock rom because it must be possible . Ive searched all over the internet but i cannot find a solution. i would be very greatful

I have also searched and asked the same question.
For some unknown reason Samsung decided to exclude this feature for the J5,even though the phone is more than capable of handling it. It is most likely disabled on a low framework level, so probably not so easy to enable . Most of the ported stock ROMs for J5 like A5UX etc. has the feature enabled and working, and cast works on most of the CM13 and nougat lineage and derivative ROMs.
