vibration intensity - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

I probably know the answer, but is there a way to increase the haptic feedback intensity beyond the limit of the current settings, or does it have to be built in to a custom kernel in order to do this?

Backlight dimmer?

Is there any way to adjust the backlight's brightness beyond the 5 levels available in the Control Panel? Even on the lowest setting, the screen is still very bright if you're reading in an otherwise dark environment.
Any help or pointer to working third-party solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Good question. I've seen Palm software that allows finer-grained backlight settings, but nothing for WM5/6 (much less Wizard-specific). It would be nice, though...

[Request] Automatic Brightness Levels

I've been checking around for a way to add/remove automatic brightness levels in the level settings under display>automatic brightness but I haven't found any (both online and on my Nexus 5). I remember the CM settings looking similar to this but with the ability to change how many levels it uses. Holding just allows one to change the lux and the slider is the brightness.

We had this in 4.3 but I don't know if it's been reimplemented on 4.4 yet.

Reduce the intensity of the haptic feedback?

Is there a way to reduce the intensity of the haptic feedback?
I have the feedback reduced on the keyboard via SwiftKey settings.
I want to also reduce it on general screen touches.
I have root and xposed.

Vibration intensity

Hi everybody.
Actually I have Cosmic OS ROM and I want to ask if there is any app or mod through Magisk that allows you to reduce or increase vibration intensity. Usually there is a specific settings in "Sound" but it doesn't appear.
Someone could help me, please?
Thanks
You can change the vibration intensity in the kernel adiutor app , since you have Magisk already. I don't know any module that does that , sorry

Vibration Intensity Control In the Pie Custom Roms

Don't know why, but no pie custom roms have the kernel feature to control the Vibration intensity . In case of the Oreo Custom roms, there was a feature in the kernel auditor app to control the Vibration intensity . The default vibration intensity is very low for all of the pie custom roms . I asked the developer ls to look at this feature request but on one bothered . So, i am asking the members if they can give me a solution to increase the vibration intensity in the pie custom roms . Thanks in advance ?

Hi, I have a nexus 6 and here the problem is the opposit. I like light vibrations for keyboard input and for ui interaction, I don't mind for messages or calls because it's pretty strong here. I could set gboard keys at a low vibration strength, but sadly it's not possible to set the ui haptic feedback strength because it reverts back to stock 81 value . I tried with nitrogen os rom and another one , with franco kernel , with popcorn kernel and with both franco kernel and kernel adiutor apps . I found in some way I don't remember the file the gets edited with the new vibration strength, but even modifying it manually still revert to stock . It's really strange because after editing the value in any way I tried , the first vibration is produced at the desired strength before reverting.
