To put this clearly, you don't need to re-execute the hotplug command. You just need to install magisk module, reboot with the mod attached. That's all

I just reallized it is working.
But there is no signal showing that the battery is beeing charged or something like it.
All this is a work in progress
Latest nightly 1012 now supports turbopower pack.

Been using this for a couple days now and its really great for a first release. Battery life is good and its very stable and smooth. The small things that don't work, that I've noticed, are nightlight, no Swype with stock keyboard, and DND not functioning 100% correctly. All pretty minor bugs and with Oreo being so new, I'm sure they'll get ironed out. Amazing work GZR team and Nick for maintaining!

Photos and videos are not saving at all. Just a grey image is saved. Tried with Open Camera 1.40, in-built Camera 2.0.002 , and Google Camera 2.5.052.
Any help/insight into this issue would be appreciated. Thank you.

My intention in this post is to provide another combination for a custom ROM. After trying different other ROMs from other posts, I found a combination that fits perfect for me. These are the reasons:
- Good battery life (for me the best)
- Everything working perfectly (excluding the known issues: NFC, WiFi Hotspot, HWC? and camera crashing depending the used app)
- Hardware heys configuration (+RR configuration tool)
- Good performance
If that convence you, here are the instructions:
1. Download the ROM from the forum developers of S6/S6 edge:

In my case I used the version: RR-P-v7.0.2-20190817-zerofltexx-Unofficial.zip
(Remember to remove assert line in updater script...)
2. Download the Note 5 kernel:

But, assuming the kernel is the same as Lineage 16... I will assume the same compatible models:

I don't have time now, but one day I will put some screenshots. The important thing for me is that there is no battery drain, which means that when you are not using the mobile, it is almost zero consumption. (Maybe 1%-2% maximum per hour?)

@Androids boys He's NOT the developer, and clearly says so in the original post. This is simply a GUIDE on how to get an S6 ROM working on the Note 5.
I am however concerned that there is no mention of where the Kernel comes from and who the actual Dev is, so I will be closing this thread for now until this can be rectified.

I have a question: which is the best compatible Gcam mod version for this rom? I try a lot of mod but sill get problems:
- some moded apk have option to fix front cam green overlay but stuck when enable HDR/HDR+
- some moded apk working with HDR/HDR+ but don't have option to fix green overlay
- almost modded apk get freeze/forceclose when using slow motion mode

yes I did clean flash, for now I dont use fingerprint lock because it's not working for me . Scanner just lights up and nothing or says its dirty and can't scan

fixed IR
fixed haptics
I like this rom, but my problem is that auto brightness dont regulating smooth in dark and lowlight rooms.
Anyway to implement Default camera app in custom roms ?
