Verizon HTC Desire 530 Android 7.0 Nougat Update - HTC Desire 530 Guides, News, & Discussion

Turned on a brand new Verizon HTC Desire 530 today. There were actually two updates. The first was a 6.0.1 security update. The only thing i noticed was it went from security patch level June 1, 2016 to OCT 1, 2016. After that it popped up the 7.0 update. Here are some screen shots before and after update. If you're interested in any other info just post or pm thanks.
This was stock before any update

Moto G Turbo Edition getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Motorola has commenced rollout of the Marshmallow update to the Moto G Turbo Edition in India, according to a number of users.
Weighing in at around 445MB, the update debuts in India and bumps the firmware version to 24.11.22. In addition to the usual Marshmallow goodies (including Doze, Google Now on Tap, and redesigned app permissions), also includes the Android December security update.

The Moto G Turbo Edition only launched in India last month and comes with some reasonable hardware for its Rs 14,999 price tag. If you haven’t received an OTA notification and want to check for an update manually, head on over to settings -> about phone -> system update.

Android 7 (Nougat) update for the Mediapad M3?

Does anybody know or is there an official announcement if the Mediapad M3 will get the Nougat update? If yes, when
There wasn't any announcement yet, but there's a hope to see EMUI 5.0 cause M3 is a new device and its CPU is compatible with Nougat.

Thanks Slavon, I think if Huawei want loyal customers they should update this device soon, let's wait and see.
I also hope we will see an update because it's the current flagship and has compatible components, but Huawei never showed big love to its tablets when it came to updates and at least they did not announced it for the first wave.

Looks like they removed the message, but I can confirm it was there at least for a few hours. I hope they were right, just ordered the tablet due to the confirmation.

Looking forward to seeing this upgrade arriving ....
BTW if someone already has an idea how to upgrade EMUI/ANDROID without loosing ROOT (i.e. avoiding to lose & have to reinstall TWRP etc.) ... please post or link to advices!
Thanks

LG Bridge keeps saying a software update is available

I connected my H870DS to my pc earlier and LG Bridge said there was a software update available for it. I did an OTA check and it said the software is up to date (android 7.0, security patch 1st April 17, v10c). I made a backup of all my info and started the software update. Bridge reported it as 2.87GB. The update went through all the normal procedures and at the end, Bridge said everything is up to date. I checked the software details on the phone and all software versions etc appeared to be the same as before the update.
So I left my phone connected to chrge it, and a few minutes later Bridge said there is another software update available. So I went through it again, 2.87GB same as before. This time when the update finished, I got the same update available message. Still 2.87GB. So I didn't bother updating this time.
I've read that there is a May security update out for the H870DS and I'm just wondering if it is that which Bridge is trying to install?

Well, it doesn't really say "May security update", does it? The current firmwares were released around the 10th of May, but they have, as we all know, April's security patches.

Anyone with XT1687 retus receive April security patch yet? Currently on NPNS25.137-93-8

Received notification this morning - installed April Security update NPNS25.137-93-10. In NWFL on Verizon.
Region : US
Unlocked Phone
Got notification for April security patch.
New Build# : NPNS25.137-93-10
Downloaded it into the phone but cannot move the Blur.zip from cache to the computer. It is not a full update, really appreciate an expert to make a TWRP version for us klutz.
Might just be me, but seeing higher battery drain rate since loading this update.
Has anyone noticed any bluetooth connectivity issues or improper operation? I know that I have a rather obsolete bluetooth handsfree (NOKIA BH-108) but since the last security update there are problems with bluetooth functionality on my phone.

Latest firmware available for DTM CSC is the same as BTU above, ATI2
I got this update yesterday too. Strange it still has the September security patch when the US Note 20 ultra is getting an update with the October patch.
