bootloop problem - Xiaomi Mi A1 Questions & Answers

hi everybody.
just bought my A1, installed apps and wanted to restart. but stuck at bootloop.
tried everything (miflash, adb etc.) but no luck.
still in bootloop.
any help would be appreciated. thank you

solved it finally!
problem was the partitions i guess.
first unlocked BL then erased partitions with edl mode and flashed rom using miflash. then locked BL again.

i have the same problem here how do you erased the partitions with edl mode? Thanks!

Same problem for me. Did anyone solve it?

same problem here after OTA November update bootloop.

Sorry but it's almost impossible a boot loop if you didn't root or made some other changes... What you have done?

(SOLVED) Zenfone 2 laser Z00LD (ZE550KL) (2GB RAM) (MSM8916) completely bricked

I request someone please upload the full emmc dump or post it here. my device has been bootloader locked so cant flash the fastboot userdata.img its stopped working. i need a emmc dump rescue.
thanks in advance.
Update:1
i have dumped whole emmc on other device ze550kl it has bootloader unlocked and rooted with supersu. the point is when i try to write the full image using EMMC RAW Tool it gives an error write failed at the end of it. Phone doesn't boot and it goes to quallcomm bootloader 9006 or fastboot mode. if i try the rescue files which on the other thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-2-laser/development/unbrick-guide-z00l-ze550kl-t3600527 ) phone boots to fastboot mode but i cannot access the recovery or it wont boot to recovery. this is what i have done several times when it boots to 9006 mode i have deleted all 29 partitions in minipartition tool then created only one ext4 partition as a primary then it goes to 9008 mode. almost i tried all suggestions from addy692 nothing really worked as expected. if you have some ideas regarding this issue let me know in this thread.
Update:2
i have unbricked Z00LD from the dead and Please download the folllowing file ZE550KL_MP_RunChange_0721_Ver136_8916_V001.zip and extract it to somewhere else then write all partitions using EMMC RAW tool
if you are facing write error leave them, some partitions may fail to write i don't know why please choose write selected partitions and uncheck some of the partitions if you facing write error, you have to do it manually by checking one by one and write them as well. when its done connect your phone to fastboot mode if its not working try unbrick files https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-2-laser/development/unbrick-guide-z00l-ze550kl-t3600527 then flash the Raw Firmware which you downloaded earlier that's it. if you face imei null afterwards Restore the QCN backup with QPST.

EDIT: I just realized that there is only 600KL an not 550KL, that's a problem because I'm also looking for the 550KL, but maybe is compatible as the firmware is labeled Z00LD too. I'll update you if I find something.
Have you find any link ?
unfortunately nope. But my phone is back again working just doing some work from TWRP and leaving it bootlooping for an hour.

used TWRP to repair all partitions, flashed stock recovery, stock boot an stock rom, leaved it bootlooping for half an hour and he started.
Did you unlocked your bootloader before flashing twrp.
anyone figured out how to do repartition of ze550kl?

How did you flashed twrp, because when i try to flash twrp, an "remote partition table not found" error occurs?
finally i have unbricked Z00LD the only one issue that i cannot unlock my device using asus official unlock app. it gives unknown error.
Thanks, this finally un-bricked my Z00LD!

HardBrick, all partitions were wipe out. The downside is, i idid not make a backup of my NVRAM.

I did something wrong with TWRP recovery p9 lite and idk what

So my phone, huawei p9 lite VNS-L31, was rooted and there was a system update available. I updated my phone and everything worked fine but I had to reroot it.
When I tried rerooting it I installed TWRP recovery and when I typed in the console on my computer "adb reboot recovery" it got stuck in bootloop.
I managed to get it out but right now I still want
to root my device or install the official rom.
If someone would so nice to help me reroot and explain what could've happened you are more than welcome because I am getting really desperate.
Oem ?

having the same issue, unfortunatelly, is hard to find someone who really knows how to help some beginners, the question is simples, and some don't get it: After doing all the process, the bootloader only boots the Erecovery from Huawei, making it impossible to boot TWRP

hep. lg v20 us996 in fastboot mode after flash

Greetings. I have a lg v20 us996 and the problem is this. After flashing it with lgup UPPERCUT_1.0.0.0, now the phone reboots into fastboot mode. I have given factory reset and I have flashed another filmware of the same model and still the same. I turn it off by removing the battery and when I connect it to the computer or the home charger, it lights up in fastboot mode. any solution. Thank you
When that happened to me I had to send it in for factory warranty repair. Their diagnosis was faulty ram. Phone came back unrooted and I really don't know if I should try to reinstall TWRP and root. I get the message that the phone cannot be checked... when I boot up, which leads me to believe the bootloader is still unlocked. I miss TWRP and root REAL BAD so will probably give it a try but am not brimming with confidence.

Greetings. In my case it was not root and no installation of twrp. It was after flashing of the filmware that I left in fastboot mode. Now does not boot and gets stuck in fastboot mode
This happened to me when trying to update my old LG K10 through LG Bridge and it failed. After it installed the update properly, it booted normally. I think it's a flag that LGUP or UPPERCUT fails to reset, so the phone thinks it's still waiting to install the update through LG Bridge's Update Error Recovery.
might be of use here
i had a h910 flashed over to us996 that was stuck in fastboot. i had tried everything from flashing all the us996 firmwares to frp reset and came up with nothing. i then flashed H91510c_00_VTR_CA_OP_1007.kdz it not only successfully flashed but got me out of fastboot mode. i am now reflashing the us996 10f and will re root and twrp .. hope this helps someone out.

You just saved my xmas!
I think the reason it works is because the partition layout is redone because the partition layout is different. So it has to be re-written which is what needed to be done to fix the issue. The Korean F800 version has a different partition layout as well so that prolly would work too, which I actually had before I downloaded the H915.
This also fixed the issue I was having in the first place that made me chip erase which didn't work. But now I know what's going on, writing a fresh partition table can solve many issues which doesn't happen when crossflashing variants that have the same partition layout.

P9 LiTE SYSTEM WIPED WITH TWRP

Hi there, I'm coming up with the following problem,
I've wiped system in twrp by mistake and i can't boot my phone now. It stucks on the warning about unlocked bootloader. I can't get into fastboot mode and don't have custom recovery. I can boot into huawei erecovery but it doesn't find right package and into huawei recovery but i've tried few firmwares and every time it shows "software install failed incompatiblity with current version"? Do you have any suggestions? I have vns-l21c09b381 version.
Thanks in advance.
Sorry if my English is bad.

I don't remember now.... I think that I extracted update.app and flashed boot and system, then system booted so I installed firmware finder and reflashed all rom via dns. I don't know if it it was as I write and if yes if it's good procedure but anyway it worked for me

Bricked Nokia 6, need help flashing back to stock

I believe we all know here how hard flashing Nokia 6 phones are... they are unbelievably a PITA.
I have a TA-1025 Nokia 6, 7.1.1 Nougat. I have been trying to fix it for 3 days now with no success. Originally tried to reflash stock boot image at first with little success so I could flash Magisk. Ended up wiping out entire System partition and trying to reflash, getting nowhere. I then flashed a B02_Homebrew.zip which ended up with stock recovery and no root at all (and no ability to flash magisk despite having unlocked bootloader. great.) Downgraded bootloader again and am now stuck and unsure how to proceed.
Note I CANNOT get QFil to work without EDL mode, which requires me to tear my phone apart.
Any suggestions? Does anyone have any certified knowledge of how to fix and reflash stock Nokia 6? I don't want to take it to a dealer because they will update it and make it unrootable (and probably won't be able to even touch it since bootloader is unlocked.)
ATM, all I can boot to is TWRP recovery or Download Mode.
Help?

just download the Full OTA update in the thread section.
must downgrade first ur recovery to nougat then install update via recovery.
You can use TA-1021.
If you want Nougat Ver. then use Nokia OST.

It shows up as a QualComm COMM port device. But before you get your hopes up, every time I have tried to flash it, it says "Failed to switch to EDL mode" :-/.
