Yes, I've been asked this before through Beta Feedback on Google Play, so I might want to clarify this within Ocquarium.
Yes, indeed there will be an Android P Easter egg port as soon as the source code for Android P is released in August / September. I can't port it at the moment, since Google does not publish the code for developer previews.

I actually once did that, when KitKat was new, and i was looking for a KK rom to flash. It turned out to be a stock one though, luckily for me.
Contacted lg about h440n marshmallow update and they said it isnt coming to our device

Unlikely that there will be Oreo for N7 since google changed kernel requirments to 4.4 in R2

It is just a matter of time and we are patched with the October updates plus Krack....using Lineage which matters the most...

I would say yes most of the latest build are updated with October's security patch.

I was looking for this kind of ROM long time. Going to try now. :fingers-crossed:

it's in beta stage.
So far so good...only complaint so far is the click/noise that the lens does when exiting the default camera app (open camera)...i will try it for a few days but will return to my normal rom as that "clicking noise" is really annoying (to me).

Now the only thing OPO would need is completely FOSS rom. That would be really cool. No proprietary bits. Something like Replicant.

No issue a all.
My touch stopped working after updating my J7 Nxt to pie. Then i reverted back to oreo.
Any method to make my touch work on pie ( I'm having Chinese display on it)

Well, never.
Samsung added commits that check screen info.
If ur screen is fake, nearly zero chances that it will works on Pie.
But maybe devs can workaround that
