VNS-l23c605b121 to android 7.0 - Huawei P9 Lite Questions & Answers

Hi I have a p9 lite with the VNS-l23c605b121 compilation and I want to upgrade to 7.0. Does anyone know how to do that or if there's any problem to upgrade to the VNS-l23c605b120 compilation of android 7.0? I know that the main diference is that the 120 is the dual sim...
Thanks in advance.

Proxy method?
Better let someone else handle the updating, seeing as you're don't like reading too much.
Dude, don't be salty because getdroidtips isn't clear.
I managed to update btw, close this topic

Dude use Firmware Finder app and dns/vpn method
to try to force the upgrade ( try to use B361 FULL OTA-MF PV first ).
If all will take right direction, then use same method to update to
B502 (dual sim) or B503 (single sim) FULL OTA-MF version.
See the attachtments and good luck.
Cheers
Huawei p9 lite won't receive Oreo update and I use firmware finder but there's only( b503) update

Dear,
huawei never planned to forward oreo official upgrade to p9 lite ( 2016 aka venus model ) users,
so do not waste your time looking for this, it simply doesn't exists...
B502 ( dual sim ) / B503 ( single sim ) are latest Nougat firmware.
Cheers

Firmware Finder is down bro, definitively. You can try to upgrade using dload method. Download Service ROM for dual SIM
and flash it, instructions can be found in ReleaseDoc folder. This process will erase all your data (and lock the bootloader again) !
I hope you have Dual SIM variant. If not, let me know.

Stock ROM for my P9 Lite

Hello there,
I have a P9 Lite VNS-L31 with build VNS-L31C432B160, EMEUI 4.1.1, Android 6.0.
For some reasons, the update menu tells me that there is no update for my phone.
I know this is not true because I can see people on the same P9 Lite with EMUI 5.x, so my question is the following, is there a way to find and flash the latest stock ROM available for my phone ?
(I used to have Samsung mobiles and look at samfirmwares websites to find my stock ROMs)
Cheers
Anyone ?

Have you tried Firmware Finder from the Play store?

Nope, I switched to this version to enable dual sim on my single sim phone.
But I don't need dual SIM anymore, and just would like to have the latest official version available.

P9 lite no brand upgrade

Hi to you all,
My p9 lite, no root, is still on l31c432b160 firmware version and I would like to upgrade it at latest l31c432b416.
I found a 'service firmware' on androidhost.ru/41d
Is it possible to jump directly from b160 to b416 using that file?
Has anyone already tried?
Thanks a lot and regards

Hi remogio,
really i don't think you can directly upgrade from B160 to B416
but sincerely never tried that. If stock updater doesn't work
you can use Firmware Finder app to force the upgrade to android 7
and the update to latest firmware.
Read THIS whole thread (already posted ), it's exactly the same situation as you.
Some video on YT are present too.
Good luck
Thanks Dadditz,
Regards
