2.3 4 and bluetooth

Just tried my Motorola bluetooth headphones and music or video sound breaks up constantly. Same worked fins in prior rom. Anyone else have or haven't had this problem?

I've 2.3.4 on mine and bluetooth works flawlessly, as usual. I use Nokia BH503

I use Jabra Cruiser and it works great.

The only issue with Bluetooth that I have is that it does not auto connect to paired devices. In 2.2 it did that.

I am actually having a similar issue. After 2.3.4 the official OTA update, my phone will not pair or connect to my computer... Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Which headset model are you using?...

Use Player Pro and Moto S9-HD headset...........works great on 2.3.4 for both music and calls.

Using jawbone era here... Pairing was fine, but I'm having reliability issues as well... It works fine about 75% of the time... But in one or two out of five calls it just doesn't connect, i have to restart the headset, restart the phone, then it works again... That is annoying.

Yes, I have the same problem. I use to pair with my car stereo player JVC AVX 33 and I use stock froyo (Brazil retail).

same here, wish it would connect to my car's bluetooth without me manually doing it every single time.

Works with Sennheiser MM400s but definitely flakier than 2.2 (and esp compared to Nexus).
Every ~3 hours or so it will just cut out for no reason and I have to turn BT off/on
Also the occasional 'crackle' happens more often

After the update Im looking to get a new pair of bluetooth headphones. I was using the Motorola S9-HD headphones on 2.2 and the works pretty well, although I had the occasional skip. Now they skip like freakin crazy. I can not have the phone in my pants pocket, jacket pocket or even in my hand or the audio skips and skips. Im kinda of looking at those Nokia BH503's but not sure if Im going to like the non-in ear type. I have to think about this.

Same here, won't autoconnect with my car's Bluetooth (bluelogic) did it fine on froyo. I've searched all over the internet and couldn't find a fix. It serms that other drvices with GB (htc, lg) are affected also, so it's not an Atrix only issue. I guess only Google can fix it.

Remote Bluetooth keeps disconnecting

Hi,
I have an S4 which I purchased in replacement to my S3. I use the remote sim access capability to access the phone from my Audi. However what I have noticed is that it frequently disconnects for no reason. Has anyone else had anything like this ? What is the remedy ?

Me too as well found an app in the play store that I'm trying that is supposed to fix the issue. It's called bluetooth keep alive.

Thanks. Did it fix your problem? I was told by another guy that an upgrade in firmware (probably to a non-stock rom) fixed the issue but I don't want to go through that hassle.

Hi there, I've tried Bluetooth Keepalive but that doesn't fix it. Is the problem with the bluetooth app? Can it be replaced with another version?

DOnjt install it, its very bad for now. Bad battery etc.

You can't do much if nothing other than wifi and network works.

I've tried it, just did a nandroid, flashed it like a normal ROM, and restored the backup half an hour later. Heres the full thread if you are interested;

Lol. I think a lot of people tried it out when it came out months ago. Yes WiFi does work but the other features can't be used.

Extreme Bluebooth Battery Draining

I just got my G2 less than two weeks ago. At first, the battery life was great, but in the past couple of days, it's been absolutely awful. Can't get a whole day with a single charge, which I could easily do with heavy use in the beginning. And I've read some threads about it being false reporting because of KK etc, but this definitely not false reporting. Others had theirs at like 4-5%, but this is way too much. Screen:
Stock KK, rooted with IOroot and using 2 Xposed modules: G2 Xposed and G2 Tweaksbox.
I really hope someone can help me out, this is really frustrating.

Is your bt just "on" or is it connected to a headset or anything?

Nope, it's completely off. I only used it for a couple of file transfers like 2 days ago and turned it off, that's it. I think that's when the battery started draining...

Come through my phone last night, mentioned Bixby changes which always scares me. somebody install it first lol

Here you go. Probably has the Bluetooth fixes in tow that they pushed out for other areas of the world amongst the usual security/performance updates.

I’ve installed it. The usual, maybe placebo effect, but it feels smoother. My Antutu score went up about 10K.

Fixed the device being uncertified in Google Play.

There is definitely a performance increase. Much much smoother.

What bothers me is they pushed the May security update. June's security patch was sent out publicly on Monday. WTF.

Couldn't tell you as I never had this happen. I use Bluetooth audio every day. What system are you connected to?

Think I figured it out. I didn't use my usual troubleshooting steps because I was following everyone else's threads and issues. I neglected to try audio wired as well as with alternate music apps. So after trying several different headphones (wired and bluetooth) as well as various bluetooth speakers, I was able to narrow it down to a specific app that was the issue (Power Amp). I cleared the cache and data for the app and now all is A-OK. Classic case of user error I guess?
