Mate 7 Update to LOLLIPOP (SCREENSHOTS)

Hello my friends,
As you may know our dear Mate 7 WILL RECEIVE the update to lollipop soon, I´m on the list of Huawei´s beta testing group. I will provide info and screenshots as I can.
I can not, and will not provide any download until Huawei considers the update stable.

Yes 5.1 It´s confirmed I was surprised too. Huawei told me, that´s why it took longer than to other brands, because they wanted to release the 5.1 instead of plain 5.0.
Right now I´m beta testing for them, so I will not aplly root or xposed modules, so I can provide them proper feedback.
But in the future, Of course

Can you confirm, whether the MT7-L09 version is also receiving an upgrade? Just asking because the original roadmap did not mention this one...

Is your Mate 7 the european model? If so, what was the firmware your phone came with? B120 or B125?
Will there be an update to Lollipop for all versions of the Mate 7??

MyMate is the MT L09 the European model (even though the first print shows MT L10).
Both models will get the update, for sure!
Today I tested screen time, I left it wit 100% battery running youtube videos with screen in max brightness for 5 hours, after that it had still 28% battery left. pretty good right?
I will continue testing it, and will provide screenshots, benchmarks and all that I can.

This is great news especially the 5.1 version and not 5 lollipop.
Thnx 4 the update and quick q is it smoother faster than kitkat?

I hope you capitalizing because I was reluctant to leave the device. I Mjbk update 5 and discoloration as especially the top bar color. Do the same program rehearse Twitter. And other programs

The info I have is that both versions will receive update at the same time in Europe.
I think there is nothing new on the one hand mode.

The update doesn´t wipe anything, but they recommended to make a full wipe before using it, I did.
It´s not an open Beta testing program, I own an Android WebSite (androidgeek.pt) so they trust some media to test the OS. Sorry it´s not an open program.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow update: Huawei
Huawei has revealed which devices in its line-up are getting the new software (with its own Emotion UI layered on top, of course).
The Huawei devices getting Android 6.0 are:
Huawei P8
Huawei P8 Youth Edition
Huawei P8 Max
Huawei Maimang 4 (the Chinese version of the G8)
Huawei G7
Huawei G7 Plus
Huawei Mate 7
Huawei Mate S

Huawei Play 4C
No official timeline has been detailed by the company, but as it also makes the Nexus 6P for Google, we could see Marshmallow coming to its devices a little faster than usual.

Sweet, maybe I hang on to this phone a little but longer

By the time this update comes most people who actually care about updates will already have new phones.

My guess (and hope) is we`ll get Marshmellow in the first quarter 2016 because they allready worked with M on the Nexus 6P

I guess Andriod M will release for mate 7 also, bcoz mt7 almost have all facts which in 6p, and I also found many site where huawei developers said that they will release M firstly for p8,mate7 and honor 6 plus, which are still top in p,mate and honor series,they also said they've been busy to skip on M, not to release lollipop, i like to share that site where I found but I cant found from google search again...so I will going to wait for M,who dont want to wait sell ur device, who want to wait just count on days...from month to year u will get one day hehe as huawei company is very slow on update their andriod, but I m sure we will get...

Just flash the lollipop rom manualy and you are done

Well I wouldn't even be sad about not getting Marshmallow, I'm fine with KitKat and see no reason to update to Lollipop.
But it would still be cool to get M because of the native fingerprint sensor support, maybe we will be able to flash not-stock roms
without loosing ability to unlock with fingerprint. Well I just try not to hope too much

It looks like Marshmallow will force people to use encryption if you use marshmallow, hopefully you can turn it of and use it without still without root. Sounds anyway kind of stupid

I don't think that Huawei dealed with software-side on the nexus 6P, I think they worked only on the hardware

Honor 5X getting EMUI 5 ?

A positive update from Honor India.
It has been mentioned that Honor 5X will get updated to Nougat.
It will take some time to get the updates. Still feeling positive on seeing that we are in the list.

Absolutely they should prioritize.
I'm having Honor 7. I expect the update to be fast in Honor 7 rather than my Honor 5X.
The amount spent is nearly double right ? So it should be.
And honor is going in right path.

From multiple sources its not confirmed either it will get EMUI 5 nor it wil not. There is a Dilemma.
Here is another update for Honor 5X, stating that EMUI 5 won't be there for Honor 5X
However its younger sibling 5C is said to get EMUI 5.

On hihonor's community website, https://club-us.hihonor.com/blog.31/honor-announces-software-update-policy.1203 , it says the 5x gets it. I'm looking at this, on 12/3/16 . If it gets it, the warranty's got some time to go(a little bit under a year). I'll feel better about putting TWRP(already officially unlocked) on, after the supposed update, and new bugs are worked out. Then I'll be back in the custom rom section instead, as this is surely a last update for it.

Honor 5X will continue getting update for 2 years as Promised. But major update like EMUI 5 is not guaranteed unless Honor 5X is tested and succeeds with it. Till that, No word will be uttered out by Honor Team.
However, suppose if the result is Negative, it won't leave Honor 5X users as such. It will introduce some new features in EMUI 4 (EMUI 5 features which are compatible with EMUI 4) and provide us updates.
Honor 4X, which didn't have such promise released with Kitkat and now its running on MM. And till October 2016, it got security updates. It might get in future also.
So Trust Honor.
Anyways you can also choose the path of using CM. In which you will get Nougat for sure.

Is your D001 or D003? D003 has a full B350 update package on Honor's Poland website, and my device pulled that package via OTA. My country still doesn't have official Honor site/community, so our downloads go through Huawei, and B340 is last one there, too....

D003, 2, 1 belongs to cust versions.
If you didn get them, then it means that they are in BETA for testing. You will get OTA soon.

It will be Cust versions of B350 which might be a trial one for limited Beta users.
It also means that you will get security updates soon once the bugs gets fixed.

Honor kicks off their beta program for the Honor 7X, which was our pick for Best Budget Phone recently. This program will allow users of the 7X to get early access Android 8.0 and EMUI 8.0 on their device. The beta program is currently available for France, Germany, Spain and Italy, but they’re willing to open it up to other countries if there’s interest. So if you have a 7X and you’re not in France, Germany, Spain, or Italy, leave a comment below with your country and we’ll make sure Honor knows about it and hopefully they can expand this program to other countries soon.
To join the program:
Download/install the beta apk from the link below, on your Honor 7X
Launch the beta app and login with your Huawei ID
Go to Personal> Join the project> Project available
The beta build will then be pushed to your device via OTA software update.

I'm hesitant to put my imei number in a random google form. I'm pretty sure we're supposed to keep that number private...

Well, after your statement, i decided to go ahead and fill it out. Hopefully it doesn't end up biting me in the ass.
I'm very eagerly awaiting the oreo update for the BND-L24! As soon as we get project treble, we can run whatever custom roms we want!!!

Yeah me too, but i wasn't sure since i restored from the AL-10 image. Sucks to not have a full stock image i guess.

I'm in Thailand, And wait for 8.0 test too.
