Good night my problem is this, I'm Argentine so I apologize if I open a post for something that already has spoken in another, buy a s6 edge + a friend and I did hard reset from recovery, not knowing that the new lolipop was bringing the protection of accounts, and turn it take me that surprise, my friend does not remember the account and password, so I urgently need someone to help me like this happen to overlook, or fix it. I hope the answer of any help. Thank you

The best thing you can do is ask your friend to reset his google password and then let him unlock your phone. That's the most XDA can help you with since we have no idea how the device was obtained. If he was your friend, he should take the responsibility of unlocking your phone.

Android phones require ONLY the Google account information to bypass the restriction.
Download the bypass app, then plug otg, install that then reset, i think that ur phone is not the newest version, so otg method would work

I've been logging for 2 weeks, got the 15 days logging in message. Tried to get the unlock bootloader code from http://emui.huawei.com/en using the same login as I use in my phone. Got the error message:
"The Huawei ID used to apply for the unlock code has not been used on the device for more than 14 days."
Any ideas on how to fix this?
You dont need to use that method. There are instant methods like the one I used. It was on a youtube video linked somewhere in the forum I think. Search.

with this video tutorial i was able to unlock my bootloader,so give a try
I was able to unlock using the emui website straight away.
Logically, I'd suggest the following:
Sign out of your EMUI account
Try again on the site
Create a new account but don't sign in on your phone
Try to get code on site with new account
Sign in on the new account on your phone
Try to get code on site with new account

No but if you log in with Facebook on the website and try doing the bootloader unlock there, it might work - it worked for me.
Every procedure that I do gets me to the 14 day message, impossible to unlock bootloader here...
There is 2 ways to get the unlock code here

I used the first method to get unlock code for many devices and it's working all the time
I had the issue that my Huawei id with Europe number didnt get acceptet. I used Chrome to do it. Then i tried with Edge (win10 Browser from Microsoft) and that worked to Login.
And i hadnt this 14 Day prompt.

Tried all methods I could find, they did not work. I have logged with Huawei account in my device for 15 days in a row, created several Huawei accounts, and still could not unlock the bootloader...

Nogut can't be rooted using KingoRoot
You have to flash some custom recovery for your device and flash SuperSU using it.

Ive been tryin to finds ways to do that but I don't quite know how.....Can u walk me through how to flash a custom recovery because I have yet to find one for this specific model.

I'm thinking about buying this phone, did you really get 7.0? That would be awesome! Can you post a screenshot?
I would be happy with Android 7.0 but I'd be happier with root too so I can uninstall the bloatware. Does this phone come with a lot of bloat?

Yes I believe that's the link I looked at a while back. Still using my Stylo 2 unrooted. I find it more enjoyable to use than the iphone 6s my job issued me. It's a good phone. It bugs me that it has 16GB storage and is tight for space. The android OS should be around 5-6GB. That means Cricket and/or LG have a ton of garbage I should be able to remove but cannot. Hopefully a good method becomes available and the Stylo 2 doesn't go forgotten by the rooting community. My next phone will be a Samsung solely because they are more supported in the realm of rooting hacking of the device.
That being said this phone and the carrier (Cricket) has been better than expected. Good luck to you.

Hit up [email protected] he can probably root it and if not he will at least give u control over ur apps storage via TeamViewer over adb like he did mine....it cost me 10$ but it was well worth having 400 apps and 47gb storage and an adoptable sd .....his link Fiverr/SoxxFan90 pm him hes in vacation mode but he has his PC...he was very knowledgeable and had a way to repair my phone had been thing went wrong....I'd give him 4.5****/* stars

have you gotten it already? i got it by connecting my stylo 2 plus to a PC program called LG Bridge and updated it from there! right now am checking for root!

Sorry for not responding directly to you but to root you can go to my thread (Link in my signature) and if you look at the bottom, there will be another link!
If you cant see my signature, then you are probably on moble and will need to go on computer to view and root the device anyways.

I have been trying. The boot loader is locked, like the Z983 Blade XMax. If you find something, let everyone here know please!! I have tried several methods, and explored via adb.. Nothing solid yet.
According to SRSroot's twitter just now they have found a one click method for the Cricket LG-M430.
The .exe file is for download on their wedsite (SRSroot.com) not sure if it works but I will try it as soon I get home.

I heard kingoroot has rooted stylo 3 but I haven't tried yet.

These guys (SRSroot.com) are crooks, they tell you your phone is rootable via there app, then Then later tell you root isn't possible for your phone. still keeping your $40 bucks!

I think everyone's given up on this one.
Id like to give it a shot. It seems like this phone is a blend between the ph2n(MS550) and sf340n(MP450). I dont have a computer so ill get an OTG cable soon and see what i can do. Ive been using my Stylo 2 Plus with Magisk 18.0 and the ADB /Fastboot module to play with other devices. The beauty is if i do experience a brick my stylo2+ is at least factory unlocked....knock on wood. I would love getting one of these non metro/tmobile variants a new life

In the xda forum the MTK Easy Root method is available. Which gives you root permissions with the limitation that you cannot write to the system only read, that is. You cannot modify any file or delete apps from the system. But we are on the right track, I wonder if this method can advance something.

I also see someone posted a youtube video about rooting the Stylo 3 (but I don't know whether it was the M430 or LS777) It apparently used a TWRP 3.2.1 for SF340. It was mentioned on getandroidtips.
This is my only working phone and I can't take it out of service yet.
