Speed Dial Button Mapping

Is there any shortcut i can use to directly go to the Speed Dial list wither from the Start Menu or by using a hardware button? I suppose there might be a certain *.exe app with a specific string to open the SPeed Dial app.
bump.........
if you're using WM6 just install HTC Home.. besides the fact that it's very useful with media and weather.. it also has a picture speed dial pad for just one touch dialing. i use it.. and it's wonderful.
i can upload an scr if you like
I have plenty of experience with HTC Home...
On my phone, I use SPB Phone suite with the drop down contact list as well as FaceContacts which allows you to flip thru contacts by sliding your finger across the screen.

.....
What I'm trying to figure out is actually for my father, who's in the medical field... so his Speed dial list is over 20-30 items that he needs on a daily basis.... (labs, Radiology, Endoscopy, East Wing, West Wing, South Wing, Nurse Station 1, 2, 3, 4 .... etc...) ... so his current Speed dial list is humongous .. so basically I'm trying to figure out if there's anyway to link directly to it somehow...
After reading up for a bit, I did find out, that if you hit the CALL Key, then Left on the D-PAD, it will bring up the speed dial list... so that may be the best solution.
wait.. but if your dad is using 20-30 speeddial contacts why doesn't he just use FaceContacts? it would probably be the fastest way. even if you linked them directly he'd still have to go thru the list..

Call timers on o2 xda Mini

I seem to have a problem. My o2 Xda Mini does not record the usage of the phone correctly. As in in the call timer/duration it is always drastically less that what i use. I have used close to 100 mins on my phone but it shows around 40 mins in total. I was thinking that i cld count on this to figure out my inclusive minutes but i guess it has to be kept track only on my providers site (
Does anyone else have this issue? Please let me know if anyone has sorted this out as well.
Thank u
hi desertstorm ,
Its not that much series thing. Its seems that your call timer option ( Delete call history automatically ) is set to short period.
to change it follow the steps :
1- Go to the Phone ( where you dial the numbers to call )
2- click the button [ Call History ]
3- from the bottom click [ Tools -> Call Timers ... ]
4- the last option in the screen ( Delete call histroy .... etc )
change the drop down option to NEVER or what ever you like .
Your are done
Best luck.

Google voice issues on Nexus

is anyone else having issues with Google voice properly displaying the number that you are dialing ? this is driving me nuts.
iI make a call and the phone shows the Google exchange number NOT the number that iI am actually calling.
thanks.
Thread moved. All question threads belong here in Q&A.
Thanks
AvRS
I'm experiencing it too. Tested and found it was only on nexus 4, not on galaxy nexus so it's something specific to this device.
I don't know if I fully understand the problem. I dial a number in the phone app and hit call (I have it set to always use GV) and it dials the correct number... Where exactly are you guys seeing the wrong number?

Don't think its specific to the Nexus 4.
Works fine on my Nexus 4. Number dialed is displayed at the top, while the "Calling via Google Voice" is displayed in the blue bar (which disappears after a few seconds)

I also have the same problem (4.2.2 stock).
After reboot first call is working fine, second and all other display Google's forwarded number in call log.
Here is some screenshots:
1. I start dialing some number:
2. Than immediately number changed to Google's forwarder number:
3. In call log I can see both numbers:

Lg G6 (Korea) remove dual clock from lock screen.

I bought a korean version lg g6 in Bangladesh. When i bought it the android version was oreo. I look after google to disable roaming dual clock in lock screen an succeed. Using this method-
To remove the lockscreen roaming dual-clock on the LG-F700S, follow the following steps:
Download QuickShortcutMaker
Search under ACTIVITIES the keyword "KT"
Click open 'Roaming' and then click on 'Roaming KT Roaming Test'
Create shortcut and open the shortcut
Check 'RAD TEST'
Turn off WiFi while keeping Data on, check the mobile signal strength icon now appears with a letter 'R'
Go Settings - Date & Time
The originally grey-out 'Roaming dual clock' item now becomes black and clickable.
Click to Disable the roaming dual clock.
Uncheck 'RAD TEST'
Turn on the Airplane mode, then off again to remove the 'R' status.
Now the phone works like before with the lockscreen showing only one clock.
Now my problem is i updated my handset to android 9 pie then tried the same method to disable dual clock but failed. Bcoz i cant open "RAD TEST" page.
