Simultaneous UMTS Tethering and UMTS Calling... possible?

Has anybody been able to get this to work?
If so, was it a Bluetooth or USB tether?
I haven't done it tethered yet (even though I use USB tethering), but I have been on a call with a bluetooth headset while surfing the web through UMTS/HSDPA without any issues.
There's definitely no problem using simultaneous UMTS voice/data connections on the device, I've been unable to secure either a Bluetooth-tethered or USB-tethered data connection on the desktop and a phone call on the device simultaneously...
If I try to make the call, it breaks the tethered data connection.
Maybe there's a way around this?
I can tell you from experience (or rather, experiment) that it does work. I tethered my desktop to my TyTN (cingular) to see if Counter-Strike would actually work on it (I tried all my previous phones to no avail) and I was surprised to find out that it worked! I had a ping of 100ms on average and the game was totally playable, no skipping or spikes. I then made a phone call to a friend to see if it would hold the connection and it did. However my ping jumped to 150ms and there was some mild skipping, but still playable.
BTW I am in Chicago, IL if that makes a difference to you. I know 3G speeds seam to vary from place to place.

Performance lower with a 3G connection active??

Hi,
Has anyone observed lower overall perfomance of the tab while 3G connection is active? I was supprised to notice that flash videos start to stutter on a 3g connection while they play perfectly smooth when I am on the WiFi. Also the workspaces scrolling is not as smooth as on the WiFi. In case of Flash videos on the web it's not an issue of slower buffering because I wait until it's buffered. Also at home I share a 3G connection from the same operator over a WIFI network (a 3G modem is plugged into a TP-Link WiFi router) so the speeds are exactly the same.
Has anyone experienced anything like that?
My tablet is an European 3G-enabled Galaxy Tab 10.1 White with 16GB of storage.

S5 causing lag on WIFI

G'Day All,
Every time the wife connects to the home WIFI the lag goes through the roof.
I can be playing an online game with a ping of 50ms... and as soon as she turns on the wifi on her S5.. Bang.. up to 999 it goes.
Turn the wifi off.. and it drops back down.
She can use the ipad on no worries and my S5 also with no worries on the home network.. it is just her S5.
I've tried forgetting network but still does the same.
Any theories??
Cheers

Poor Hotspot Performance

I'm consistently having issues with the hotspot feature on this phone. My wife has the same phone, and hers works well most of the time. Mine, on the other hand, is often incredibly sluggish. As an example, I will often get only 1 Mbps speeds and a ping rate of 1000+ ms when testing the bandwidth from my laptop while connected to the hotspot, while a bandwidth test done at the same exact time on the phone itself will show typically 30-50 Mbps. It doesn't do it all the time, but often enough to really drive me insane.
What makes this even more frustrating is that my old phone, an HTC 10 which I replaced because of the frequent freezing, works reliably with the hotspot.
Any guesses as to what might be a solution? I've tried a factory reset, which fixed the issue for a while, then within a week or two, the issue returns.
I'm using the Verizon network, if that makes any difference.

Wifi Speeds extremely slow?

I have having issues with the WiFi on my device. I usually max out at 2mbps download but sometimes if I turn it on/off it'll return to normal. My data connection on many other devices is near 100mbps and the issue is specific to the One Plus 8 Pro. Data network works good, anyone else have this issue?
