How to flash custom ROM on lenovo A3000 H using cwm which is formatted, not rooted. - A3000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi I am Rupesh from India and I have lenovo A 3000 H idea tab and I want to flash custom ROM. Previously I tried to flash the custom ROM called A3300HV_CM_5.1.1.zip. I found how to flash the above ROM in XDA forum and tried to follow the procedure. At first I acquired root permissions using iroot then installed superuser app and then flashed cwm recovery using flashify app and in cwm recovery tried to install the above ROM but failed. I have tried to flash twrp recovery which is downloaded from XDA forum but failed.
After some days other people have unrooted my tab without my permission after that I have tried to root my tab using a number of ways but failed. After that in cwm recovery I tried to install A3300HV_CM_5.1.1.zip custom ROM which is in external sdcard but unfortunately I got lots of errors.
In order to install A3300HV_CM_5.1.1.zip custom ROM I thought to format all the partitions and so I wiped dalvik cache after that formatted cache partition after that formatted data and system partitions. After performing the above steps I have tried to install A3300HV_CM_5.1.1.zip ROM from external sdcard but again failed.
At present there is no os in my tab but I am able to enter into cwm recovery. In cwm recovery when I try to install A3300HV_CM_5.1.1.zip ROM I am getting a lot of errors.
When I connect charger to my tab the logo lenovo is blinking again and again and so I think my tab is not charging properly.
I have downloaded the following custom ROMs from XDA forum website
cm-13.0-20160910-UNOFFICIAL-A3300.zip
cm-13.0-20160919-UNOFFICIAL-A3300.zip
ResurrectionRemix-M-v5.7.3-20160807-a3300hv-mtkroms.com.zip
when I try to install in cwm recovery any of the above ROMS which are stored in external sdcard I am not getting succeeded.
Please suggest how to flash any of the custom ROMs specified above in cwm recovery. Is there any way to flash the above mentioned custom ROMs using flash tool or other software in PC.
Regards,
Rupesh.

Hi, I'm stuck in philz custom recovery (cwm) after trying to flash gpe 4.4.2 onto i9505 lte(uk) I rooted and installed cwm no problem. When I booted into recovery I wiped cache, dalvik etc then selected zip file from sd card. All was well then install failed error (status 7). I made a backup using rom manager and saved it to my external sd but cwm can't find the recovery file. How do I fix this. Any help would be much appreciated

Which Rom are you trying to flash?
I recently installed this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2544474
I used TWRP recovery!

Usually status 7 is a problem with recovery-not sure which philz your using ? Try flashing this 1 & it should load ROM correctly

[Q] Installing Google Play edition, Need help.

Hi,
i wanted stock android on my s4 and downloaded cm11 and installed using the easy installer thing. Cm11 was not as great as i thought and was looking at the GPE rom.
I have the zip file downloaded for the GPE , just wondering to complete
do i need odin and if so what v?
do i need root?
Do i need CWM?
Im new to downloading and installing roms but i am a quick learner
Thanks
Every time you want to flash a custom rom you will require root and a custom recover (Like CWM, TWRP or PhilZ).
There are a few cases where you need Odin to flash the rom. But for the GPE rom you will need just a custom recovery and root.
Considering you have already installed a custom rom (although with the cyanogenmod installer) you should be rooted and maybe have a custom recovery.
Here is a root guide just in case.
But if you have an app like SuperSU, then you're rooted.
Then you still need a recovery. I don't know if the CM installer flashes one.
I myself use TWRP recovery. Because CWM just didn't work.
Used Nandroid manager (from google play) to flash TWRP because everything else failed.
If you don't have a custom recovery, then you can flash TWRP. I haven't tested the other recoveries on this device.
Go here and download the latest .img file.
Then you will use Nandroid manager to flash that img file. Then select "reboot into recovery".
Now you should have TWRP flashed. In case Nandroid says that you need to download busybox from google play, do that and install it. But CM should have busybox installed already.
Now put the rom zip on the external or internal storage. Boot into recovery, go to the Wipe tab and do a factory reset.
Then go to Install and select the zips you want to flash. This is how you basically flash a rom.
Some roms may require you to do some other stuff. So make sure you check the rom flash instructions.
nandroid is saying ,the file .... can not be flashed by this app , i checked if i was rooted by downloading a root checker and it said yes... what am i doing wrong?
nevermind, i used CWM instead and worked perfectly, couldnt have done it without you!!! Thanks
CWM didn't work for me.
But if it works for you, I guess it's alright

SM-N900W8 (Canada) - CWM Recovery Bootloop?

EDIT:
Please delete thread. There is an issue with my SD card resulting in files being corrupted. Massive losses. I was able to successfully install ROM by uploading files to Internal Storage
Hello,
I have been attempting to flash AryaMod : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/rom-aryamod-v1-3-tw-lollipop-5-1-1-t3326976/post67619860#post67619860
on my SM-N900W8. From the stock rom, I rooted it using CF-Auto-Root, then installed TWRP.
After downloading and putting all the necessary files on my SD Card, I attempted to install this but TWRP kept giving me file errors "Error: Secure Check Fail : aboot" when attempting to install anything, the kernel, the rom, the bootloader and modem, etc. Nothing was working.
I read that TWRP isn't very good with Aroma stuff and I should be using CWM, so I attempted to install that. Everytime I installed CWM, it would say it is going into recovery, then restart the phone, over and over..
Figured that I needed to just do a fresh install. I get a new Stock Lollipop 5.0 DOH1 from Kies, reroot with CF-Auto-Root, then install CWM from ROM Manager. Same thing, recovery bootloops.
Is there a way to fix either CWM or to get Aryamod to work with TWRP? Is the CF-Auto-Root breaking the recovery install since it installs through recovery as well?
At this point I've spent an entire day trying to get Aryamod with no luck. What the heck am I doing wrong?

please helpe i accidentially wipe all os system and data of samsung s3 neo i9300i

my device is samsung s3 neo i9300i.recently i install twrp 2.7.1.0 and accidently delete all partitions and system and data.so now there are no os system.and i cant boot my phone.phone stucks on samsung logo.but i can boot into twrp recovery mod.then i decide to flash stock rom throgh twrp recovery but it fails and also try cm 12.1 official and unofficial it also fails.its showing no md5 file found.patching system image unconditionlly and updating partitions.so what can i do.i dont have pc.so give me solution which can i solve with twrp 2.7.1.0 .and one que. can i install noble rom 2.1 on this mobile in this situation?please help me......
I think you still need to find any PC with samsung drivers installed and Odin. Boot into download mode (vol down + power) and flash service firmware to recover partitions. Maybe exist any other solutions, but this, IMHO, is what you need to do.
After installing cm12.1, doesn't it boot?
Don't worry about the md5 file warning or patching system unconditionally. If you got no errors (other than what i mentioned here), it should boot fine.
in twrp there is an option of terminal command.but i dont know how to use it.when i click to open this terminal conmand then open systems folders and files and bottom line there is a option of select current folder.so how can i use it to flash rom with this.anyone have idea then please help me
I several times wiped everything at once through TWRP, then just restarted into recovery, copied .zip files for the ROM and gapps from a computer and flashed them, so can't really see where is the problem in your case. Doesn't the PC find your phone as a storage drive after wipe and restart?
yesterday i successfully install nobel rom 2.1 in my device.but now problem is i cant boot my phone.its showing samsung logo and then automatically going in download mod.before this installation i several time wipe every partitition and succedsfully install noble rom 2.1 but cant boot my phone.problem always there.please please help me
Maybe the problem is with the ROM and it's incompability with your phone. What if through Odin you flash a stock ROM from a computer in download mode and then try another custom ROM?
But of course first try to enter recovery and directly flash (another) working ROM, because going through stock with Odin takes much more time and nerves. Also, with Odin you have to be extremely careful to use the exact stock ROM for your device, so this is kind of a last-case scenario.
Plz check the rom u r downloaded is not corrupted

If you deleted ALL partitions, you have to flash Stock. If not, then just install something.

Yes of course you can. Flash whichever version you want. Just make sure it is only for your device s3 neo not any other Samsung phone. If you have solved the problem, then reply here and all moderator to close this thread.

Sim cards not working after installing Android 7.0 Nougat

Hi there,
I rooted my device with Kingroot in stock ROM version and installed the custom recovery with the Flashify App after that I installed Android Nougat 7.0 custom ROM in my MMX A120 (aosp-7.0.0_r6-30.09.2016-fresh) using (Ariafan+beta5+TWRP+3.0.2.0+recovery) custom recovery. Unfortunately, sim cards are not detecting and also lost IMEI number and root access. I also tried to use SP Flash Tools, but the phone is not detecting in my PC.
Any help would be much appreciated!!!!

Flash this with any custom recovery.
1.Download STOCK ROM place it in your SD card.
2.Reboot into recovery
3.Wipe data/factory reset... and wipe dalvik cache
4.Format /system
5.Go back and select install zip from sdcard, select "copy of stock rom.zip" and confirm
6.Reboot after flashing is complete
No hope!!
