I think It's a feature of Nougat.

[Q] multi-window applications

Of all the apps available for the multi-window capability, how do we add an app that is not shown onto that list when you EDIT the slider? For ex: the Yahoo Mail app. Do i need to contact the developer to ask that they allow multiwindow capability within the application itself?
thanks in advance! Pete

MultiWindow Manager, but it requires you to be rooted. Just keep in mind that adding apps that don't support MW may not work as expected.

I removed Default Clock app...

So I have Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (G935F) and I really dislike all the bloatware Samsung puts on their devices.
So I installed Custom ROM to get rid of it. More specifically I installed Efficient ROM which let me choose which apps i want to have on my phone.
Being sick of preinstalled apps I selected all of them to not be installed. Along with default Clock App.
Which at first didn't bother me at all since I could install Google Clock app from the Play Store.
But my problem started when I wanted to use alarm feature. Though app is very well adopted by the system (the alarm icon even appears on the AOD which I did not expect), when I clean all open apps
it also shuts down my clock app. Which is really bothering me since Alarm does not work when app is not running.
I could just leave clock app opened in the apps menu, but it's annoying since I usually close the apps I don't currently use.
So my question is: What can I do to keep Google Clock running in the Background when i close it from recent apps? I have in mind feature that, for example, Facebook app has; that keeps you updated on notification even when you close it.
And that I don't forget to mention... There isn't any option to set Google clock as a default app on the default apps menu in settings.
I really don't want to flash ROM again just because of the stupid clock so if there is any solution I will be very grateful to share it with me.
I would guess use a Root Explorer and change it from a user app to a system app. I'm a Samsung noob, though, so I could be wrong.

OK i figured out that if I disable xposed, app stays opened. Anyone else experienced that issue with having xposed installed? I also find out that it's preventing Hangouts and several other apps to run in background as well, so I can't get any notifications.
You could install xposed (if not already done) and download an app called App Settings. There you can set the app to be permanently running and/or hide it from the recent apps list.
Also, I don't think making it a system app will change anything as system apps, with a few exceptions, can also be closed from the recent apps just like user apps.
Edit: Just read you have xposed already installed. So just do as I said first, this way you can continue using xposed aswell as the clock app.

Thanks for your reply but don't keep activities is already unticked.
When I use any applock it works fine.but when I open the 'applock app' and swipe it from the recent activities it's permanently terminated.and then locked apps like whatsapp can be opened without password bcz the applock is not running in background.
Same happens when I swipe jio4gvoice from recent apps the app notification form the status bar disappears and no calls can be made from phones built in dialer.i think u got my point now.

Z.A.D.Mix7 Widget Time Not Updating

Anyone else have this issue with Z.A.D.Mix7 v0.3?
I'm using Transparent Weather and sometimes the time freezes. If I resize the widget, the time updates. This seems to be happening to my calendar widget too, Simple Calendar Widget.
Hoping someone can help with the time not updating as it's driving me crazy. I was fine with stock rom, but had the same freezing problem and was hoping Z.A.D.Mix7 would fix the issue.
-In Power Manager, Smart power-save and Ultra Power Saving Mode are turned off.
-Power management for apps -Simple Calendar Widget Pro - 0 power saving policies enabled.
-Transparent weather clock - 0 power saving policies enabled.
When stock, I had Nova installed, but not the beta version.
Put the Transparent Weather APP under protected Apps, and Also put it on Autorun list Apps (This solved this issue for me in the Chinese version)

Z.A.D. Mix doesn't have Mi-Assistant, same with stock A2017U. If it exists, I can't find it. Thanks for replying though.
Too bad would be nice to have

Questions for pixel experience

Hi,
i installed Exvolution X rom since last week. And it's a beautiful work.
I've two questions :
- it's possible to blur an app in recent view app ? (like MIUI) I like this feature
- my screen when is sleep (i think) so the lockscreen is black with time, weather, battery but not display google ambient mode while it is actived
- and auto kill after some delay apps in recent view app (but not the app that's lock)
Thanks in advance
For the third question:
You can't "kill" an app from recents. It's basically just a shortcut to the recently used apps. The system will manage the apps getting killed or not. Make sure that the battery optimizations are active(or inactive if you want to keep it) for the particular app.
