Copy & Paste on D2

Can soemone explain to me how Copy & Paste works on the D2?
I cant seem to get it to work consistently, am I missing something?
On the D1 you hold and get a menu to copy, with D2 it appears hidden somewhere else
I use text messaging heavily for work, so this could be a deal-breaker
When you are in text messages, click MENU and click SELECT TEXT. Then you can select what you want to copy.
No idea why HTC changed the way of copy paste.. it was annoying for me too to find the copy/paste function.
in New Contact Card
in New Contact Card how to copy and paste? since lots of asian online auction use the same company/ email name would be much easier just to type it once and then copy it. i'm able to highlight but get no menu poping with options
you can copy paste with almost any keyboard:
fingerkeyboard: shift+longpress c/v
spb keyboard: control+c/v
default keyboard: control+c/v

Can't copy/paste??

Is it possible to copy and paste text that's in an email or on a webpage? It seems I can only copy links by tapping on them and holding, or when you have a text entry box it also seems to work, but what about a chunk of text in an email you've received or on a website? Seems like a pretty basic function, if even windows mobile could manage it.
In browser app, press menu, then the last button, then the "select text" voice (I've an italian one, sorry), it will be automatically copied to clipboard so you can paste it everywhere. I've not yet found a way to copy text from mail app, but you can open mail from browser anyway, following the same procedure
Thanks, works perfectly in the browser, and in text messages you can touch and hold the message to copy all its text. Unfortunately I usually need it more in email, and would take less time to re-write than log into webmail and copy. Seems like an oversight really, if it works in the broswer why can't they make it work elsewhere

can't highlight text in htc messaging

in htc messaging, is there any way to highlight 2 or more words or some part of a word? because what it does is only highlight either 1 or all words. i just can't drag my finger anymore to highlight anything like in the old messaging. thanks. yes, i've done a search.

Send data (text) from app to PC where the active cursor is

I have some text written in a text field of my app and have a send button to it and my phone is connected to my pc via usb.
How can i make that button to trigger to send that text to my pc where the active cursor is.
Like if i have "Abcd" written in the text field of my phone and i have currently opened Google in my browser with the cursor in the search box i want the search box to have "Abcd" as soon as i press the send button on my phone.
PS: I am a beginner right now.
The complexity of what your describing would need to be done on ur PC, its simple to make an app send text. I would use csharp (assuming windows environment) which has libraries and such for invoking text input.

Force Clipboard Keybord in Note 3

Hi guys,
I realized there is fundamentally flawed with the clipboard Note 3. You see, you can't actually use the clipboard for all kind of text field like for example in-apps text field (during the "enter" changed to "search" symbol) during searching for products or google search via Chrome Mobile (not URL, but search in the text field in the web).
How can I force or change how the Samsung Keyboard to support clipboard 100% of the time?
