Bricked LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite (x722) flashing Le Pro 3 stock ROM - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

Hi everyone,
I hard bricked my LeEco Pro3 Elite (x722) when trying to revert to stock ROM, wrongly thinking Le Pro3 ROM was the right one, when I saw that Lineage OS (again for the Pro3) was not booting.
The phone does not light up, does not charge, vibrate or get recognised in Windows as any device, no matter how long I press the power button. The phone remains black/dead.
Any suggestions or possible solutions other than trying to return the phone?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

I think at least it need to detect by the computer when connect the phone to pc by USB-C cable.
Or try press power button for long time if anything happen or not. Sometime it helps to bring it back to life.
It very hard to brick Qualcomm device I think.

My suggestion is to do nothing until you know what you have, read the tutorials before asking, and then ask questions.
And I also suggest that if you are going to try to cheat a salesperson at least do not say it in public.
Greetings.

Thanks for replying both of you.
As I mentioned, at first I was sure I was having a Pro3, nevertheless I tried to make Windows recognise it by long pressing all three buttons and connecting the USB-C cable to the PC as I read in tutorials to try to bring it back to life when detected as HS-USB QDloader 9008 and flashing QFIL files, that I haven't found yet for the Pro3 Elite (x722), but to no avail, it does not get detected. Anyway I'm trying it again just in case.
Regarding the return procedure, I'm not trying to cheat the shop where I bought it, it's a perfectly working phone hardware-wise, I'm sure, as every shop, they can send it to the maker's technical support and they will swiftly unbrick it with proper maintenance tools. The procedure should be charged to me as bricking it would not be covered by the maker's warranty. Nevertheless, thanks for the tip, I won't mention the shop.
Thanks for your kindness.

Bricked Huawei Nova, please help

Hi everyone
I tried to updade my huawei nova CAN-L11C530B130 to CAN-L11C432B340
I think the copy/paste of the UPDATE.APP ****ed up beacause the transfer time was very short...Anyway the phone accepted the update but turned off after that.
Now I can't boot, no recovery, no download mode, not even a charging led light.
Please tell me there is a way besides RMA
Thank you very much :good:
Well, either there is no charge (try keeping it on charger for a few hours) or it is totally bricked based on what you said. If it is completely unresponsive there is really nothing you can do.
Boot loader doesnt start as well?
Thanks for your help
I tried an all night charching but It did not help, no boot loader either.
What about the version I had : CAN-L11C530, I don't find any results about it on the internet, strange right ?
When I plug the phone to my computer I get "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3)"
You could try contacting Huawei support, their is a qualcomm flash tool. You need the tool and the rom to use it. I know it worked on the Nexus 5, but have seen nothing like it for us. I would try going to a shop and asking, but I do not know how viable that is for you.
Thank you wangdaning, it's very kind of you
I'm gonna leave the phone to the carrier who will send it to huawei.
I'm just surprised how easy it was to brick, I have a honor 8 and a mate 8 and it never happened.
I wonder if it comes down to it being a defective device. I have run circles of flashing on mine and it does not brick. I am running Lineage and even the build is not for my device. I have manually flashed partitions, wiped and reflashed partitions (in fastboot). I have made it unusable at times, but never bricked. It works fine now. Seems it might just be an unlucky bad unit you got. Hopefully you had all your stuff backed up and hopefully you get a unit that works well next time.

[HELP] Bricked Samsung S8 (US T-MO version) with Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008

Guys need help....I recently bought a Samsung S8 (t-mobile version) without knowing much of its history thinking it had a deeply discharged battery, but after a good 10 hrs on the charger it still won't turn on, no LEDs, no vibration, nothing, a complete black screen so it will NOT boot into recovery or download mode. However, it does seem to take a charge as the back side does get a bit warm when charged. When plugged into the PC (Win 10) it does not get recognized under My PC but I hear the USB plug-in chime and under the Device Manager, I get "Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008" on COM port 3. From what I've found online, seems like I will need the original S8's complete eMMC image and load it onto the sdcard and recover it that way, even if it's possible.
Can anyone help/guide me in the proper direction? Really hoping to recover this device. This might even help others who may have or will brick their S8's. Hope we can find root soon if that's what's needed to fix this. Thanks a lot in advance
Anyone?! There has to be someone who can help me out here....
Display broken? For not getting an image when you plug in the power?
Have you tried pressing volume-down+bixby+power button for a full 10 seconds?

Root is definitely not what you need to fix this device, root would be something to access the system on a fully functional device to begin with. Maybe try the Odin carrier switch method and see if that recognizes the device.
Where did you buy the device and what did they say was wrong with it? Do you have no option of returning it because it very well my have been messed with and have Knox tripped anyways.

Display is in like new condition, not even a blemish. No image upon power or on the wireless charging pad, the battery does get a bit warm when charging for few hours.
Yes, I have tried that exact combo for a good 60 seconds but nothing.
Either the battery is dead or a loose connection on the charger outlet.
Either way, it doesn't charge.

The reason I commented about root was then someone can get a backup of the eMMC or a backup of the bootloader, so I can flash that, if that possibly fixes it. From what I can understand, something got corrupted and for that reason the device will not boot at all (nothing on the screen), so Odin is out of the question, since the device has to be in the Download mode for Odin to recognize it.
What I have found from further reading is that I can use QFIL (Qualcomm Flash Image Loader) to flash stock firmware since it recognized the S8 on COM port 3 when connected and QFIL recognized "Qualcomm HS-USB Qloader 9008" message, but what I have seen is people using MBN files (firehose.MBN) and an XML file to revive the phones. I've tried looking for those files even within the S8's stock firmware (AP, BL, CSC) but nothing.
Is there anyone who has experience working with QFIL who can guide me or provide with the files I need to flash this device back to stock.

If u can return it go do it, thats not a issue that can be solved here im guessing is a hardware conection/display issue. If u cant reach download mode then i think u cant get help here
This is not hardware issue or anything like it. What youve done, same as I have, is wiped the download and recovery partitions of the phone. QFIL can fix this, but same as you I have not found the required files. I did find the programmer firehose but its an efl. I can not find the meta file it apparently needs. Did you ever fix this

No no no, display is fine, odin will not help you. Your phone is in a mode called edl. This happens when your bootloader is corrupt or unbootable for some reason. The bad news is this typically called a hard brick, as it requires special software to recover from that isnt available typically to the public.
Absolutely agree with the poster who said try and return it. This mode is very difficult to recover from, if its at all possible. There are tools that some of us have that might be able to recover it, but they havent worked on v2 bootloaders so far. The sdcard stuff doesn't work with the s8 as it was turned off due to security issues.
Let me know if you cant return it and I'll see what i can do, but no promises

Looks like I've done the same thing with S8+ G955F. I was trying to fix an FRP issue and flashed a mixture of Nougat 7.0, combination and CRED BL and now it just shows black screen, can't get to download mode. This was all done with Odin.

Hi,
i have the same problem - stuck on red light.
Its recommended to use SP Flashtool to flash Stock.
Before, installing correct VCOM drivers. I've done that successfully.
But now...
I need the Stock ROM for this LeEco Le S3 X626 WITH the scatter file (MT6797_Android_scatter) that is needed for SP Flashtool.
None of the downloadable Stock ROMs i could get contain this scatter file. These Stock ROMs are all for devices that can still access fastboot.
This brick, stuck on red light can't access fastboot anymore..........
Any help? i need this ROM with the scatter file... please!

i tried everything i could already but it is giving me errors and the red led persists, i followed https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-2/help/bricked-le-s3-x626-flashing-twrp-power-t3715937 but it doesn't work at all, just gives me a lot of errors that when i google nothing turns up, when i try to flash only the preloader alone it gets me somewhat through the process but gets stuck and there pops up the same error as always, i will try your files (as i was using the ones provided in the tutorial) tomorrow and report back, thanks for posting them so quickly.

i am on an x626, it has a 21 mp camera and i bought it from china, sorry for not replying for 4 days.
---------- Post added at 02:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:50 PM ----------
I get errors still, i believe it is a drivers issue but i don't really know how to fix it, i have tried uninstalling the drivers and installing the ones needed but they do not work at all. What do i do now? Am i out of options? What are the drivers supposed to look and how do i install them? i installed the ones that were provided in the inf file, those give me error 10 and my phone keeps disconnecting and connecting on a different COM port, although the driver seems to be installed, can someone help? If anyone is kind enough to screenshare with me i can do that via skype, discord and teamviewer, i also found a 5 year old camera here so i can catch any errors on video with my phone in the frame now which could be useful. Thanks for reading this, please help me any way you can, every bit helps.

Don't panic, i figured out this thing yesterday with my x626, it was successful and was not too hard in the end! don't worry much about the drivers, its completely normal that u lose connection all the time, it happens to all of us with bricked LeEco. The drivers won't keep still for the procedure, its normal...... I worked with the drivers in the Unbrick LeEco folder from blueasteroid. I installed all the stuff there was, and Windows said: Preloader VCOM 10 - it still switched but this is normal!
It is necessary to have the correct files, the correct paths in SPFlashtool and it only worked (for me) with DA_PL_HIGH and the pressing of buttons on the phone (Pow and Vol- holding it all the time). There was no BROM Error anymore and it all worked out.
All i can say don't give up, i have been at this point since beginning of December and now i finally got it unbricked! as much BROM errors u get, don't lose patience, keep on doing... u will finally find the right timing by happenstanc and it will work. The part after it is not that problematic then.
Check this thread, its very active at the moment and imo very very helpful: https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-2/help/bricked-le-s3-x626-flashing-twrp-power-t3715937/page5

Please help, so i just bought this phone, the LeEco Le s3, and i bricked it while installing TWRP, now every method i have tried i got some kind of error, the SPFT method just gave me endless errors and failed to upload even when tweaking settings and even having the correct folders, feel free to ask anything and i will respond, but ask a lot, because my phone is bricked and i really need it but can't figure out how to fix it at all, for the record, the phone has a Helios X20 and is the x626 version, i can't even use fastboot on it, it doesn't recognise the device. I dont have hardware problems. I flashed the Pixel Experience rom in february with sucess but I didnt like it. It had too much battery drain. Then I wanned to try some other rom like AICP. But in the process of flashing something went wrong. I wasnt able to flash it, always gave me the error 7. Then it simply died. I was rebooting TWRP mode and it went dead. Now just vibrates when I try to turn on. I tried the QFIL process (both volumes + power) but I dont even know. How can we know that it in qfil mode? My pc wont recognize anything. Not in Flash One, Not in QPST, nothing. Am I doing something wrong? The phone vibrates so its charged. I installed the Qualcomm drivers properly, I thing, eventhow it doesnt appear the qualcomm 9008 port in the device manager. Its suppose to appear before the phone is pluged right? Thank you for the reply.

Instead of creating a new post why not just read the enormous unbrick forums that exists and have proven steps. Many, Many phones have been debricked using those steps.
Hint, read the last pages for updated links to the software tools needed.

Next, I just found this cable which will help immensely with unbricking your device: https://www.amazon.com/GPG-EDL-Cabl...r1&keywords=edl+cable+for+wall+qualcomm+usb+c

Your phone is probably fixable.
Based on what you stated above, it seems that you downloaded and attempted to install the wrong version of TWRP and now your phone has no recovery at all.
Here is partial instructions I posted in the unbricking forum : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76100899&postcount=121
Use those instructions along with is mentioned below. I have personally helped so many people unbrick their phone that I have lost track and this is the reason why the posts are so long and extensive. Because sometimes what works for one person does not work for the next. So I have essentially have taken everyone's great advice and updated the links, made the instructions steps a little more concise and easier to read, fixed some incorrect steps or added the needed skipped steps. Plus added my own research into what I believe is now a definitive guide for unbricking the Leeco variants X720 and X727. The point of not reposting the information here is to keep everything from becoming more fragmented.
Yes, it's possible that you have a hardware issue. But, its also possible that it can be fixed!
Remember that you will not see the port unless you are in EDL mode
Just press volume △ (+) and volume ▽ (–) buttons together while powering the phone on.
It should now be EDL mode. If you cannot get into EDO mode, you cannot do anything else.
If you get an error, press and hold the power button while at the same time hold vol up + and down simultaneously plug the usb cord into the back of the computer while holding the buttons.
Yes, It's a pain and this is why the deep flash cable is handy....it's a special cable ( so your extra cables will do nothing to help you) The deep flash cable will automatically put your phone into EDL mode and allow you to use Flash on.
Install the Qualcomm QDLoader 9008 driver: https://goo.gl/9E3bKq or the from links provided in the unbrick forum.
There are multiple versions or Qfil, some have issues. I posted the correct one that works.
FOR anything else go to that forum read my and everyone else's posts. Again, I keep all of my linked files are up to date, and many are located on my own drives.
You can make one of these cables. Here's a video that shows you how:

it will not be a quick fix.
There are 4 or 5 different unbricking options and it requires persistence and patience.
The good news is that your phone has a solution that may work.
So when your where flashing a rom you got error 7 and your phone went dead.
I had gotten that same error.
Error could mean two things 1) update recovery or update firmware.
My point is sounds nice like hardware issue.
These phones are known for just dieing.
Also getting into that mode you have to push power+volume+volume- at the same time.
